Es wird somit kein Luftstau auf die unbedruckte bzw. bedruckte Seite des Bogens.

Bogenführender Trommelkörper für eine Rotationsdruckmaschine, der mittels an Stirnseiten angeordneten Trommelzapfen in Seitengestellen gelagert ist, zwei symmetrisch am Umfang angeordnete, diametral gegenüber liegende Greiferbrücken aufweist und eine innerhalb des Trommelumfanges gebildete prismatische Grundform mit Durchbrüchen aufweist, die bei Rotation von Umgebungsluft durchströmt werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass eine Symmetrielinie (11) durch die Greiferbrücken (10) verläuft, dass rechtwinkelig zur Symmetrieachse (11) zu den Außenseiten (3) verlaufende kassettenförmige Vertiefungen (7) angeordnet sind, dass die kassettenförmigen Vertiefungen (7) Durchbrüche (8) aufweisen, die zur Symmetrieachse (11) spiegelbildlich versetzt angeordnet sind.
