Abstract

Es wird ein Informationsterminal (1) zur Darstellung von Fahrgastinformationen vorgeschlagen, die dazu dient, Daten und Schnittstellen zum Herunterladen mittels elektronischer Begleiter aufzuweisen. Diese Daten weisen neben Abfahrt- und Ankunftszeiten auch Wegbeschreibungen, eine Routenplanung und Serviceinformationen über das Informationsterminal (1) selbst auf. Eine Kommunikationsschnittstelle (20), die den Datentransfer zwischen dem elektronischen Begleiter (2) und dem Informationsterminal (1) ermöglicht, ist entweder als Infrarotschnittstelle oder als Funkschnittstelle ausgebildet. Die Kommunikationsschnittstelle (20) ist auch Schutz- und Sicherheitsgründen hinter einem Sichtfenster plaziert. Mittels einer Eingabevorrichtung (3) werden Daten ausgewählt, die dann mittels des elektronischen Begleiters geladen werden. Mittels einer Empfangsstation (12) lädt das Informationsterminal (1) aktuelle Informationen, die dann zum Herunterladen angeboten werden. Durch einen Näherungsschalter (11), der das Herannähern von Personen detektiert, wird das Informationsterminal (1) dann angeschaltet.
