Description

The invention relates to an atmospheric gas burner the preamble of claim 1.

According to DE 197 47 481 C1, such is Gas burner with a burner body and a base part (gas-air mixing section) is known, for maintenance work simply by means of a quick release lock are detachable from each other. Because on the burner body due to the combustion of the gas-air mixture high Temperatures prevail, the base part is designed as a cast part.

The invention has for its object in a burner the manufacturing and material costs of the type mentioned at the beginning to lower.

This object is according to the invention with an atmospheric Gas burner of the type mentioned by the in the license plate of the features mentioned solved.

According to the invention it is therefore provided on the gas supply side on the Burning surface of a gas-air mixture section made of plastic to arrange and the focal surface in direct association with to form the at least one cooling duct, i.e. the focal surface and the cooling channel should be immediate, i.e. without (as before) any thermal bridges, in thermal contact. To this Way it is possible to get sufficiently large amounts of heat from the To discharge the burning surface to the cooling water, so that the gas-air mixing section from inexpensive and easy to process Plastic can be formed.

According to DE 195 45 844 A1, one is already in one piece Extrusion process burner with integrated Cooling channels known. But this construction is the task based on a simple and light structure gas burner to be manufactured with increased temperature resistance to create the burner surface. A separate production of the Gas-air mixing section (also made of plastic) is with this Construction not suggested, otherwise the desired manufacturing as simple as possible would no longer be possible, especially with this burner the mixing chamber with a flat, venturi channel with a rectangular shape Inlet cross section is provided, which is particularly simple can be produced by extrusion.

The material combination of focal surface and cooling channel or channels can, as mentioned, best in terms of production technology by extrusion. But casting also leads to desired material combination.

It is also advantageously provided that the composite body is made of aluminum. This material has no just good heat transfer properties, but is also good suitable for the manufacturing processes described above.

With regard to the focal surface, it is advantageously provided that the Gas outlet openings in the form of optional in the composite body milled or sawn slots are formed. On this can be done in the casting or extrusion process manufactured composite body inexpensively the gas outlet openings contribute.

Depending on the type of manufacture of the composite body, i.e. casting or Extrusion, there is at least an open cross section. To close it, for example, is provided on a suitable pair To produce composite bodies with only one open cross section, which is closed by joining the couple. Manufacturing is cheaper and therefore advantageous is an alternative provided that the at least one open cross section the composite body is closed with a lid.

Around the at least one cooling channel arranged on the focal surface to be able to supply cooling water in a simple manner further advantageously provided that at least one Cover flow and return connections are arranged.

The atmospheric gas burner according to the invention and its advantageous Further training is based on the graphic representation of an embodiment closer explained.

In Fig. 1 an atmospheric gas burner is shown, the from a combustion surface 1 provided with gas outlet openings 2 exists, the gas supply side, in the area of the gas outlet openings 2 assigned a total of six water-carrying cooling channels 3 are.

In front of the focal surface 1 there is a gas-air mixing section on the gas supply side 5 (see Fig. 6), which is used to turn the gas coming into a gas line with the required amount of air mix. This trough-shaped gas-air mixing section 5 is in Figs. 6 to 8 from different views shown. It essentially has three areas, namely first, an eight inlet openings 13 Gas-air inlet area 14, secondly adjoining it tubular gas-air mixing areas 15 and third one Chamber 16, which precedes the combustion surface 1 on the gas supply side a gas distributor 17 in the gas-air inlet region 14 is arranged with eight nozzles 18.

It is now essential for this burner that the gas-air mixture section 5 is made of plastic and that Focal surface 1 and the six cooling channels 3 a material Form composite body 4, the good heat-conducting material consists.

The composite body 4 shown in FIG. 1 is an extruded body educated. It consists of itself in the extrusion direction extending, teardrop-shaped in cross-section and internally ribbed Cooling channels 3, at the narrow ends of the individual Segments of the focal surface 1 with their gas outlet openings 2 are arranged. The transition area 11 between the Focal surface 1 and the cooling channels 3 ensures effective Heat transfer.

It is also advantageous for good heat transfer provided that the composite body 4 consists of aluminum.

The gas outlet openings 2 are in the form of in the composite body 4 either milled or sawn slots 8 formed.

Die Diagramme gemäß Fig. 2 und 3 verdeutlichen die prinzipiellen Zusammenhänge:With this composite structure, it is because of its good Thermal conductivity properties possible, despite large gas outlet openings 2 exclude a flashback. The diagrams 2 and 3 illustrate the basic relationships:

Fig. 2 shows that the frequently disturbing flow noises decrease the larger outlet cross-section. In contrast, but the risk of flashback increases with increasing Outlet cross section (see Fig. 3). But the lower the Temperature at the focal surface is 1, the lower the Kickback. So a constellation is optimal in which large outlet cross-sections to avoid flow noises are provided and the flame or the gas-air mixture Passing through the focal surface 1 through effective cooling is cooled down so far that a flashback is excluded can be.

The open ones that result from extrusion or casting Cross sections on the composite body 4 are covered with a lid 7 locked. Such a cover, produced in the casting process 7 is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 in external and internal views. It is made using a special aluminum soldering process Composite body 1 attached. To the cooling water on simple How to supply the cooling channels 3 are advantageous on the lid 7 flow and return connections 9 arranged to which corresponding, Connect connecting pipes, not shown.

Finally, an advantageous further training consists in that the gas-air mixing section 5 by means of a snap lock 12 Composite body 4 is attached, a sealant one Gas outlet in the transition area from the gas-air mixing section 5 to the composite body 4 excludes.
