Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Werkzeug (10) und ein Verfahren zur thermisch/mechanischen Oberflächenformung eines aufgeschäumten Spielbausteins (28). Zur einfachen Oberflächenbearbeitung des Spielbausteins (28) schlägt die Erfindung vor, das Werkzeug (10) mit einem drehbar gelagerten, nach Art eines Sägeblatts ausgebildeten Schneidelement (22) zu versehen und das Werkzeug (10) als auswechselbaren Einsatz auszubilden, der beispielsweise anstelle einer Lötspitze in einen Lötkolben einsetzbar ist. Zur Oberflächenformung wird das Werkzeug (10) auf eine Schmelztemperatur des Spielbausteins (28) erwärmt und über dessen Oberfläche geführt, so dass das Schneidelement (10) auf der Oberfläche des Spielbausteins (28) abrollt und eine Furche (30) oder Nut in die Oberfläche einformt.
