Abstract

L'invention concerne un contrôleur DECT servant à transmettre des données à l'aide d'un procédé à MDPQ. A cet effet, il est prévu un module monté en amont (23) qui convertit les données modulées par GMSK, émises par le contrôleur DECT (22), en données modulées par MDPQ, à envoyer. Le module monté en amont (23) peut être par exemple un circuit intégré spécifique. Le module monté en amont (23) peut en outre piloter un module H.F. (4,5) du contrôleur DECT (22), de manière que les données soient par exemple modulées sur une fréquence porteuse de la plage 2,4 GHz-ISM. On peut dès lors obtenir un système pour la plage 2,4 GHz-ISM pouvant satisfaire aux exigences (FCC partie 15) de cette plage, du fait qu'on utilise une modulation de type MDPQ et que la fréquence porteuse est changée au bout d'une période prédéterminée (système à spectre étalé à sauts de fréquence). On peut simultanément utiliser un contrôleur DECT classique de manière économique.
