Abstract

Der Spiralwärmeaustauscher (1) besteht aus mehreren medienführenden Spiralelementen (3). Jedes Spiralelement (3) ist durch ein teilweise längsgeschlitztes Zentralrohr (4) mit einer stirnseitig beaufschlagbaren Eintrittskammer und einer Austrittskammer mit stirnseitigem Medienaustritt sowie durch ein im Bereich des Längsschlitzes quer an das Zentralrohr (4) angesetztes, an seinem dem Zentralrohr (4) abgewandten, einen Überströmbereich definierenden Endabschnitt (9) keilförmig gestaltetes und hier dicht verschlossenes, spiralförmig um das Zentralrohr (4) gekrümmtes Mehrkanalprofil (5) gebildet. Das Mehrkanalprofil (5) kann aus einem extrudierten und auf Länge abgeteilten Aluminiumprofil gebildet sein. Denkbar ist aber auch eine hochtemperaturbeständige Stahlblech-Schweißkonstruktion.
