Description
The invention relates to a pneumatically operated turbine vibrator a substantially closed housing, in the work space circular cylindrical, unbalanced rotor is rotatably mounted and at least one feed and discharge channel each arranged tangentially to the rotor has pneumatic drive means.
Such a vibrator is for example from DE 43 07 483 C2 (corresponding to US Pat. No. 5,314,305). The in the basic form circular cylindrical outer surface of the rotor is seen in cross section, sawtooth-shaped to move from the feed to the discharge channel through the Working space flowing pneumatic work equipment a larger To offer a target and to improve efficiency. Such a Vibrator is therefore referred to as a turbine vibrator. With the well-known The inner wall of the work area is also circular cylindrical vibrator formed so that the flow cross section between that in the housing rotor mounted concentrically to the working area and the inner wall of the rotor is constant everywhere from the supply channel to the discharge channel. This can the energy of the pneumatic work equipment only over a short The circumferential area of the working area can be optimally transferred to the rotor and it can only moderate efficiency of such vibrators Energy conversion can be achieved.
The innovation is based on the task of a pneumatically operated To improve vibrator of the type mentioned in such a way that the pressure of the Working medium better used and with higher efficiency in Rotational energy of the rotor can be implemented.
To solve this problem, the invention provides that the between the outer surface of the rotor (1) and the inner wall of the working area (3) Existing flow cross-section for the work equipment is different from everyone Feed channel (4) in the direction of flow initially to a narrowest Cross section continuously reduced and then up to the associated discharge channel (5) steadily enlarged.
It has been found that the efficiency of the vibrator at such a configuration of the flow cross section is considerably improved can be. Compared to the same in terms of size Vibrator according to the prior art can with the same air flow much higher speeds can be achieved. Alternatively, with the same Speed with lower working medium throughput a higher working torque of the rotor can be reached.
Due to the inventive design of the flow cross section in Entrance area with constant pressure an enlargement of the The speed of the pneumatic working medium is forced, which makes the Energy of the pneumatic working fluid over a larger circumferential range can be optimally transferred to the rotor. According to the narrowest cross section the tool can expand continuously. In addition to improving Efficiency will also lower the noise level reached.
Advantageous refinements of the inventive concept are in the

In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the housing has one
approximately square cross-section with a one-piece molded on below
Mounting flange, the
The bearing
2 und Deckel 12.While the left in the illustration ball bearing 13 directly in the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3,
The new design applies accordingly to the course of the Flow cross-section between each pair of supply and discharge channels, if several pairs of such channels are provided over the circumference.
