Abstract
Zur Verbesserung des Wirkungsgrades pneumatisch betriebener Vibratoren mit einem im wesentlichen geschlossenen Gehäuse (2), in dessen Arbeitsraum (3) ein kreiszylindrischer, unwuchtiger Rotor (1) drehbar gelagert ist und das wenigstens je einen tangential zum Rotor (1) angeordneten Zufuhr- und Abfuhrkanal (4,5) für ein pneumatisches Arbeitsmittel aufweist, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der zwischen der Mantelfläche des Rotors (1) und der Innenwand des Arbeitsraumes (3) vorhandene Strömungsquerschnitt für das Arbeitsmittel sich vom Zuführkanal (4) aus in Strömungsrichtung zunächst bis auf einen engsten Querschnitt stetig verringert und danach bis zum Abführkanal (5) stetig vergrößert.
