Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection element for connecting cable shields of shield cables to conductor terminals of at least one module according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic connection element is from the EP-A-0 871 243 known.
- Another cable shield connection element is from the DE 195 37 585 C1 known.
- the connecting element shown in this document has a plug which is designed for insertion into the conductor terminal of a PE terminal.
- a clamping bracket is also held and guided and cushioned against an angled web of Stromleit conferencess by means of a spring.
- the clamp has a below the angled web lying receptacle for the shield cable, which is clamped in the receptacle and under the bridge of the spring. The potential of the connected cable shield can thus be performed directly to the PE terminal of a terminal module.
- the generic cable shield connection element has proven itself in itself. For example, for modules or terminal blocks with closely juxtaposed terminals, it is desirable to further develop the generic connection element such that a more uncomplicated connection and disconnection of two or more shield cables in a small space is possible. The solution to this problem is devoted to the invention.
- connection element Since a separate connection element is not necessary for each screen cable, a plurality of shielding cables can be connected in a tight space to the connection element, without the disadvantages of a relatively much space-requiring, separate busbar would have to be taken into account. Rather, several terminals can be contacted directly with a preferably plug-type connection element.
- the invention is thus particularly suitable for modules which are designed as a row clamp-like disk-shaped elements for latching onto a mounting rail and have at least two directly adjacent conductor terminals for themselves or in juxtaposition.
- the invention is also suitable for module blocks or juxtapositions of modular elements such as module disks or terminal blocks.
- the frame with the sliding clamps allows a structurally simple way a stable execution of the clamping device in a small space, in particular, since the frame has a U-shaped cross-section and the clamps are guided in slots in the two mutually parallel longitudinal sides of the U-shaped frame. With more than two conductors, it is also conceivable to arrange the clamp in the base of a frame-like plate.
- the frames are provided in the region of the slots with embossments or indentations, which receive and guide projections on the clamping brackets.
- the projections and the contacting longitudinal sides of the frame and the slots preferably have corresponding guide sliding surfaces.
- the clamps are hereby not or only very low on the outer edges of the frame, which reduces the width and thus the space requirements of the arrangement.
- the introduction of the conductor is facilitated by the fact that the clamps can be latched in an open position for insertion of the shielding cable to the frame.
- a projection behind Schlitzverbreiteronne for inserting the clamp is suitable.
- the invention is in addition to the disc-like modules for other types of modules such as module blocks or for juxtaposed modules or series terminal-like modules (or terminal blocks) and can also be designed for more than two directly adjacent conductor connections. It is conceivable, e.g. a kind of comb-like formation, e.g. to connect a cable shield to a specific, predetermined (e.g., first, third, etc.) conductor terminals of a module block similar to a busbar function. Also for the module blocks with many juxtaposed wire connections but are explained in the context of the figure description, very particularly advantageous connection elements with a double connector and two clamps.
- Fig. 1 shows a connecting element 2 for connecting cable shields 4 of shielding cables 6 to conductor terminals 8a, b (see Fig. 2 ) of a disc-like electrical module 10 for latching on a (not shown here) mounting rail. From these conductor terminals 8 z. B. the grounding of the cable shields 4 via busbars and possibly other (also not shown here) components of the module 10th
- the connecting element 2 has two directly adjacent, flattened and pin-like - preferably provided with Sollabknickstellen 13 - plug connections 12a, b, which are integrally formed on the base side 14c of a U-shaped frame 14 and designed to directly into the conductor terminals 8a , b of the module 10 to be introduced.
- the Sollabknickstellen 13 are particularly useful for "comb-like" (not shown here) versions with a variety of connector terminals 12, as this unneeded connector terminals 12 are simply removed by Abknikken.
- the plug terminals or pins 12 are formed directly on the base side 14 c of the U-shaped frame 14 via a step-like bend 15.
- the plug pins 12 are thus slightly offset from the base side 14c to this parallel, so that the screwdriver openings of all conductor terminals 8 of the module 10 remain freely accessible despite attached terminal device 2.
- the frame 14 is provided on both longitudinal sides 14b, 14c with slots 16a, b, in which clamping brackets 18a, 18b are displaceably guided, which here by way of example with coil springs 20a, 20b on a perpendicular to the walls of the U-shaped frame 14 to this internally molded web 22 are supported.
- leaf springs are conceivable.
- the springs 20 are located on the side facing away from the plug terminals 12 side of the web 22 between the web 22 and an upper leg 24 of the clamping bracket 18 such that they are compressed upon depression of the clamping bracket 18 and thus clamped. From the upper legs 24 of a web 26 of the clamp passes through the slots 16 which is bent outside of the slots 16 parallel to the longitudinal sides 14a, b of the frame 14 downwards.
- Lateral projections 28 of the web 26 secure the clamping brackets 18 in the slots 16 and guide them on the outer walls of the longitudinal sides 14a, b of the frame 14.
- Slot widenings 29 with a shape corresponding to the projections 28th allow easy mounting of the clamp 18 by laterally inserting the clamp 18 in the lower position, by a subsequent pushing up of the clamp 18 in the slots 16 and then inserting the springs 20th
- the webs 26 of the clamp are bent inwards and again enforce the slots 16 of the frame 14 inwards.
- the webs 26 open here in receptacles 30 for the shielding cable 6 and their cable screens 4th
- the mutually open receptacles 30 and a recess 32 in the rear or base side 14c of the frame which is dimensioned such that it is easily possible to move the shielding cable 6 in the recess 32 and laterally to move in height. This facilitates the insertion of the shield cables and the cable shield (braid) 4 in the receptacles 30th
- the frame 14 is also advantageously designed to save space so that the central axes of the shielding cable 6 are each directly over the associated conductor terminals 12.
- a notch 40 (for example on the right clamping bracket 18a) facilitates the attachment of the screwdriver for introducing force into the coil spring 20.
- a recess 42 (for example, on the left clamping bracket 18b) allows the attachment of a (not shown) marking and / or label.
- the marking could also be formed at any other point of the connection element, which is easy to see (such as on the back of the frame 14).
- the frame 14 is aligned substantially perpendicular to the module top in the region of the conductor terminals 12 of the module 10. This arrangement is very clear, space-saving and stable. Alternatively, it is also conceivable to align the frame 14 substantially parallel to the module top. In this case, the connector terminals 12 are formed perpendicular to the walls 14 of the frame 14, ie parallel to the web 22, wherein the shield cable is not supplied from the front but from below.
- connection element 2 The function of this connection element 2 is as follows:
- the connecting element 2 is plugged with its Stekkeran somebody else 12 directly into the conductor terminals 8a, b of the electrical module 10.
- the pen levels are, for example, parallel to the them contacting busbars and attack surfaces of the connecting elements (not visible here).
- the support tabs 36 and the support bar 38 stabilize the connection element on the module top.
- Fig. 1 a structurally simple, inexpensive connection element 2, which allows a small space connecting several shielding cable 6 with ease of use.
- the embodiment of Fig. 3 differs from the embodiment of FIG. 1 essentially in that the plug connections / pins 12a, 12b have been bent by 90 °, so that it is possible to bring the shielding cable 6 with the cable shield 4 vertically from below to the connection element 2.
- the actual mechanics of the connecting element 2 can essentially analogous to the mechanics of the connecting element of Fig. 1 be executed.
- the frame 14 is thus aligned substantially parallel to the module top in the region of the conductor terminals 8 of the module 10.

The generic cable shield connection element has proven itself in itself. For example, for modules or terminal blocks with closely juxtaposed terminals, it is desirable to further develop the generic connection element such that a more uncomplicated connection and disconnection of two or more shield cables in a small space is possible. The solution to this problem is devoted to the invention.
The invention solves this problem by the subject matter of claim 1.
Since a separate connection element is not necessary for each screen cable, a plurality of shielding cables can be connected in a tight space to the connection element, without the disadvantages of a relatively much space-requiring, separate busbar would have to be taken into account. Rather, several terminals can be contacted directly with a preferably plug-type connection element. The invention is thus particularly suitable for modules which are designed as a row clamp-like disk-shaped elements for latching onto a mounting rail and have at least two directly adjacent conductor terminals for themselves or in juxtaposition. In addition, the invention is also suitable for module blocks or juxtapositions of modular elements such as module disks or terminal blocks.
The frame with the sliding clamps allows a structurally simple way a stable execution of the clamping device in a small space, in particular, since the frame has a U-shaped cross-section and the clamps are guided in slots in the two mutually parallel longitudinal sides of the U-shaped frame. With more than two conductors, it is also conceivable to arrange the clamp in the base of a frame-like plate.
According to a further variant of the invention, the frames are provided in the region of the slots with embossments or indentations, which receive and guide projections on the clamping brackets. The projections and the contacting longitudinal sides of the frame and the slots preferably have corresponding guide sliding surfaces. The clamps are hereby not or only very low on the outer edges of the frame, which reduces the width and thus the space requirements of the arrangement.
According to a variant of the invention, the introduction of the conductor is facilitated by the fact that the clamps can be latched in an open position for insertion of the shielding cable to the frame. For this purpose, for example, a projection behind Schlitzverbreiterungen for inserting the clamp is suitable.
The invention is in addition to the disc-like modules for other types of modules such as module blocks or for juxtaposed modules or series terminal-like modules (or terminal blocks) and can also be designed for more than two directly adjacent conductor connections.
