Die Erfindung betrifft einen Einpreß-Steckverbinder zum Einpressen in Bohrungen einer Leiterplatte, bei dem die Kontakte mit einem Ende in einem im wesentlichen quaderförmigen Kunststoffkörper befestigt und in einem Preßteil in schlitzartigen, zur Leiterplatte hin offenen Aussparungen seitlich geführt sind und an ihrem freien Ende einen rechtwinklig zur Leiterplatte hin abgebogenen Einpreßabschnitt aufweisen, der jeweils mit zwei Einpreßschultern versehen ist, wobei das Preßteil mit zur Leiterplatte parallelen, neben den Aussparungen angeordneten Einpreßflächen ausgebildet ist, die beim Einpressen mit den Einpreßschultern zusammenwirken, und bei der das Steckgesicht des Steckverbinders durch ein Schirmblech gebildet ist, dessen zur Leiterplatte senkrechte Teile eine Frontebene des Steckverbinders definieren.The invention relates to a press-in connector for pressing into holes in a printed circuit board, in which the contacts are fastened at one end in a substantially cuboid plastic body and are laterally guided in a pressed part in slot-like recesses open towards the printed circuit board and at their free end a right angle have a press-in section bent toward the printed circuit board, each of which is provided with two press-in shoulders, the press part being formed with press-in surfaces which are parallel to the printed circuit board and are arranged next to the recesses and which cooperate with the press-in shoulders when pressed in, and in which the mating face of the connector is formed by a shield plate whose vertical parts to the circuit board define a front level of the connector.

Bei dem in den genannten Schriften dargestellten Einpreßprinzip ist vorgesehen, den senkrecht zur Leiterplatte flächig von oben ausgeübten Druck durch Einpreßflächen im Preßteil direkt auf an den Einpreßabschnitten der Kontakte angeordnete Einpreßschultern zu übertragen. Da der Einpreßdruck sehr nahe und in einer Linie mit der Einpreßzone ausgeübt wird, können bei dieser Einpreßmethode weder Biegemomente noch Ausknickungen der Kontakte entstehen. Problematisch bei den bekannten Steckverbindern ist der konstruktive Aufbau, insbesondere die Anordnung und Befestigung der einzelnen Teile zueinander und zur Leiterplatte hin. Zusätzlich zur mechanischen Stabilität des Aufbaus und zur Befestigungproblematik besteht oft auch das Problem, eine Masse-Übertragungsmöglichkeit vom metallischen Steckgesicht zur Leiterplatte in den bereits weitgehend vorgegebenen Steckeraufbau zu integrieren.In the press-in principle shown in the cited documents, it is provided to transmit the pressure exerted perpendicularly to the printed circuit board from above through press-in surfaces in the press part directly onto press-in shoulders arranged on the press-in sections of the contacts. Im oberen Teil der Figur 1 sind einzeln nebeneinander das Schirmblech 8, der Kunststoffkörper 1, zwei Reihen von Kontakten 3, das Preßteil 2 und zwei Masseübertragungsbleche 10 dargestellt. Die Kontakte 3 mit den Einpreßschultern 6 werden zunächst in geradem Zustand in den Kunststoffkörper 1 eingepreßt und anschließend um 90 Grad gebogen. Das Kunststoffpreßteil 2 wird von der Hinterseite über die abgewinkelten Kontakte 3 geschoben, so daß die Einpreßflächen 7 (vgl. auch Figur 4) direkt über den Einpreßschultern 6 zu liegen kommen und mit diesen beim Einpressen zusammenwirken können. Dabei kommt wieder das obengenannte bekannte Einpreßprinzip zum Tragen, so daß weder Biegemomente noch Ausknickungen entstehen. Die Druckfläche 11 der im unteren Teil der Figur 1 dargestellten fertig montierten Steckleiste ist parallel oberhalb zu den Einpreßflächen 7 angeordnet. In diesem Teil der Figur ist auch erkennbar, daß die zum Gegenstecker hin orientierte Stirnfläche 13 des Kunststoffkörpers 1 mit den sich links und rechts davon erstreckenden freien Enden 14, 15 der U-Schenkel des Preßteils eine Linie bildet bzw. gemeinsam an die Rückseite des Schirmblechs 8, 9 anstößt.In the upper part of FIG. 1, the
Die eingepreßten Kontakte 3 und der Kunststoffkörper 1 sind besonders gut in Figur 3 zu erkennen. Die in den Figuren 1, 4 und 5 dargestellten kammartigen Aussparungen 7 haben den weiteren Vorteil, daß das Anschlußraster der Kontakte 3 genau geführt wird. Bei abgestimmter Geometrieauswahl können sogar verschiedene Kontaktquerschnitte wie runde oder rechteckförmige Kontakte in identisch ausgeformten Preßteilen 2 untergebracht werden. Die Erfindung ist selbstverständlich gleichermaßen für Stift- wie für Federleisten geeignet. Am Preßteil 2 sind zwei Kunststoffpresszapfen 16 mitgeformt, welche die mechanische Befestigung des Steckverbinders auf der Leiterplatte gewährleisten. Während der Endmontage können die zwei insbesondere in Figur 1 und 2 dargestellten Masse-Übertragungsbleche 10 eingelegt werden, die eine doppelte Funktion erfüllen:
- Masse-Übertragung vom Schirmblech bis zur Leiterplatte
- Möglichkeit für eine mechanische Verriegelung des Gegensteckers über ein im Steckgesicht

Zur Erfüllung erhöhter Schirmanforderungen ist bei Bedarf ein metallischer Schirmkäfig 18 integrierbar, vergleiche Figur 6. Auch dieser Schirmkäfig 18 übernimmt später die Masseableitung zur Leiterplatte bzw. die Gestellerdung. Dazu werden Laschen 19 zwischen Schirmblech 8 und Preßteil 2 geklemmt und S-preßförmige Anschlüsse 20 gekröpft unter Preßteil 2 ausgeformt. Somit werden auch diese Anschlüsse 20 beim Bestück- und Einpreßvorgang zwangsläufig zusammen mit den Kontakten 3 und den zwei Masseableitungen 10 in derselben Montagehandlung in die Leiterplatte eingepreßt.
