Dichtungskappe 5 ist zunächst im unteren Bereich nahe der unteren Öffnung des
Schraubverschlusses 1 angeordnet. Vorzugsweise ist hierzu der Bereich eines unteren
Sicherungsringes 6 vorgesehen. Die Dichtungskappe 5 weist mindestens eine
umlaufende Ringnut 7 auf, die etwa der Stirnseite einer Flaschenmündung 8 entspricht
und auf diese aufbringbar ist. Es können aber auch zwei gegeneinander gerichtete
Ringnuten 7, 9 vorgesehen sein, wobei die äußere Ringnut 7 den Mündungsrand
einer Flasche innen und außen umfaßt. Der äußere Mantel dieser Dichtungskappe
5 besitzt zweckmäßig einen dem Schraubverschlußgewinde entsprechenden
Gewindegang, der der Dichtungskappe 5 einen besonderen Halt in diesem Bereich
vermittelt. Es können weitere Haft- und sonstige Verankerungen vorgesehen sein.
Diese Dichtungskappe 5 ist innerhalb des Schraubverschlusses 1 durch Verschiebung,
wenn keine Gewindegänge vorgesehen sind, oder durch Verdrehung in diesen
Gewindegängen durch Aufschrauben des äußeren Schraubverschlusses dichtend
gegen die Kopfplatte 4 verbringbar. Zweckmäßig wird die Dichtungskappe 5 in einer
ersten Stufe in dem unteren Bereich des Schraubverschlusses 1 gehalten und in einer
weiteren Stufe durch Verdrehen des Schraubverschlusses 1 auf die Mündung 8
einer Flasche gegen die obere Kopfplatte 4 verbracht. Die Verschlüsse können vorgefertigt
sein, also bereits im unteren Bereich eine solche Dichtungskappe 5 aufweisen.
Diese wird dann im Bereich einer Verschließmaschine übernommen und auf die
Flaschenmündung 8 dichtend aufgesetzt. In diesem Moment kann eine Besprühung
der meist mit Füllgut verschmutzten Mündungsbereiche durch Düsen 10 vorgenommen
werden, worauf dann in einer zweiten Stufe durch Verdrehen des Schraubverschlusses
1 auf die Flaschenmündung 8 eine endgültige Abdichtung auch zwischen
