Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a corner connector for fold widening profiles as well as a method for producing glare or sash frame with fold widening.
For adapting plastic profile systems to different ones Glazing or filling thicknesses are common, different use wide glazing beads. Exceeds that Thickness of a glazing or filling to be used the max. Depth of such a standard frame or sash profile, so-called fold widening profiles can be used become.
Such a fold widening profile is used, for example, by delivered to the applicant. It has one on the bottom Bridge with which it fits into the glazing groove of the frame or sash profile can be locked. On his The upper side has a corresponding receiving groove for the glazing bead on. Such a known from the prior art Fold widening profile is shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
Until now, it was common to have fold widening profiles in the corner area miter cut. These miter-cut rebate profiles can in principle together with the corresponding frame or casement profiles in the corner area are welded, however, this involves complex conversions existing welding machines. For this Basically, the fold widening profiles are usually not welded together in the corner area, but only in the already fully welded glare or casement frame used.
However, the fold broadening profiles cannot tolerate usually when welding the frame or sash occur, balance. It therefore occurs in the fold area often unsightly gaps of a few tenths of a millimeter Width, which is also often different in the four corners turn out wide. In addition, the welding beads in the corner area are laboriously removed to miter cut the To be able to use fold widening profiles.
The object of the present invention is therefore to overcome these disadvantages to avoid.
Unteransprüche, bzw. durch ein Verfahren nach Anspruch 7.The invention solves this problem with a corner connector for
Fold widening profiles with the features of
The corner connector according to the invention preferably has means for positive fixation with the adjacent fold widening profiles on. This can e.g. B. simply locating pins be protruding from the two end faces of the corner connector and in corresponding grooves of the fold widening profile intervention. As a result, the relative position between the fold widening profile and corner connector set.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention Corner connector at least in areas with increased elasticity fitted. For example, that the corner connector consists of two different materials, one with a high modulus of elasticity and one with a low modulus of elasticity, for example a rubber-like material Soft PVC, thermoplastic elastomers or the like is preferred the corner connector in this case using the multi-component injection molding process manufactured, the two different Materials in succession in a manner known to those skilled in the art be introduced into the injection mold. The is preferred Miter surface at least partially made of flexible material and the base body of the corner connector made of hard PVC material executed.
According to an alternative embodiment of the invention the end faces of the corner connector, that with the end faces of the fold spreading profiles are aligned with an elastic Provide sealing pad or compound. In this case too ensures that length tolerances in the casement or frame due to the elastic intermediate layers in the forehead area Corner connectors can be added and thus compensated.
To the elaborate removal of the weld bead in the miter area of the frame or sash frame before inserting the invention Avoiding corner connectors is another preferred Embodiment of the invention proposed that the Corner connector on its outer miter side (outer corner) in particular in the area of the locking bars with which the corner connector snapped into the glazing bead groove of the frame or casement profile is, has a chamfer, so that welding beads in this Do not disturb the glazing bead groove anymore.
To create a seal between the corner connector and the inside corner of the To simplify the frame or sash is another preferred embodiment of the invention an open Opening provided in the miter area of the corner connector, through which a sealant in the intermediate area between the Outside of the corner connector and the inside corner of the glare or Casement can be injected.
A glare or sash frame with fold widening is preferred manufactured as follows: first, the miter cut Glare or casement profiles in a known manner Way by welding in the miter area to a glare or casement joined together. Then four of the corner connector according to the invention with their outward-facing Latching means in the glazing bead grooves of the frame or casement plugged in. The means for positive fixation of the Corner connector with the adjacent fold widening profiles, e.g. B. locating pins, then protrude from the end faces of the corner connectors forth. The fold widening profiles are then first with one of their end faces on one of these fixatives postponed. With a corresponding bend in the fold widening profile then becomes the other forehead of the fold broadening profile on the fixative of the next one Corner connector plugged in, the fold widening profile successively into the glazing bead groove of the frame or casement profile snaps into place. Due to the elastic design in some areas the corner connector is guaranteed that length tolerances when cutting the fold widening profiles or of the blind or casement profiles in the order of magnitude be compensated for up to at least a few tenths of a millimeter can.
The corner connectors according to the invention are used for frames from sash profiles and frame profiles alike suitable, but of course combinations are also possible with z. B. post or fighter profiles possible.
The corner connector according to the invention is used in particular for fold widening profiles used for double seal systems. Basically, the present invention also includes corner connectors for fold widening profiles for middle sealing systems on.
