Abstract

The invention concerns a device for connecting a tubular duct on a tap, comprising a base (10) integral with the tap, a clamping nut (5) designed to be screwed on the base and sealing means (3, 4) designed to be housed in an annular space defined between the base and the nut, said sealing means being arranged to be axially compressed when the nut is screwed onto the base. The invention is characterised in that the connecting device further comprises a hollow adapting piece (8) for receiving a tubular metal duct (9) and designed to be arranged in the base and the nut, the latter being mounted rotatably mobile on said adapting piece and integral in translation. The invention is useful for mounting tubular steel ducts on a tap for distributing natural gas.
