Abstract

L'invention concerne un agencement d'un support de tableau de bord (1) dans une carrosserie de véhicule (11) comportant des montants de pare-brise (10) sur lesquels le support de tableau de bord (1) est fixé par ses extrémités, sous forme de support transversal au niveau du tableau de bord, et comportant des éléments de véhicule (17) qui sont placés dans la zone centrale (4) devant le support de tableau de bord (1). L'invention concerne également un support de tableau de bord (1) correspondant. Lors d'une collision frontale, les éléments de véhicule (17) sont bloqués contre le support de tableau de bord (1) en raison des déformations qui absorbent l'énergie d'impact, de l'avant de la voiture. Les parcours de déformation sont alors raccourcis pour une déformation absorbant l'énergie de manière ciblée, la décélération augmente fortement de manière indésirable, et des déformations prédéterminées peuvent être affectées. Selon l'invention, le support de tableau de bord (1) s'étend dans les deux zones latérales (2, 3) en étant pratiquement aligné de manière rectiligne entre les deux montants de pare-brise (10) et, dans une zone centrale (4), en étant coudé vers l'arrière dans l'habitacle. On obtient ainsi, dans la zone centrale, un parcours de déplacement plus important pour les éléments de véhicule, sans réduire l'espace libre dans les zones latérales ni la distance devant les deux sièges avant. Dans un mode de réalisation préférée de l'invention, on utilise dans la zone centrale (4) un profilé triangulaire (15) présentant une arête cunéiforme dirigée vers l'avant, servant d'arête de séparation et de découpe.
