Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a thread delivery device a loom according to the preamble of claim 1.
- WO 90/09475 is an arrangement for controlling Thread delivery devices in weaving machines disclosed, the weaving machine the information regarding every thread delivery device after every eight beats submitted a fabric swatch for the next eight beats.
- the trigger voltage of that stored on the clipboard Weft thread from the winding speed of a winding member depends on what the weft is used on a storage drum of the To wrap thread delivery device. With increasing winding speed the pull resistance of the weft thread from the buffer increases. If the weft thread is wound at a high winding speed Storage drum of the thread delivery device applied, be it now conditional by a quick winding of weft thread and / or by a high speed of the loom with a correspondingly high Weft requirement and high winding speed, this has one high pull resistance of the weft thread as well as an undesirably high Thread tension result. Disadvantageous in the operation of known Thread delivery devices is therefore the fact that high in the weft thread Thread tension can occur, causing damage to the Causes weft and in particular the risk of Weft break increased.
- the yarn delivery devices To operate the weaving machine in such a way that the weft thread is smaller Is exposed to stress.
- the task is solved in particular with a method for operation a thread delivery device of a weaving machine by the thread delivery device at the same time the weft requirement of at least two following ones Weft entries are transmitted.
- the thread delivery device the information for four, five, eight, twelve or for example, sixteen subsequent weft entries at the same time transmitted.
- the thread delivery device thus has a Advance information, in addition to the weft requirements of the next weft entry the information regarding the Weft thread requirement for at least one further, subsequent one Weft thread entry is present.
- the thread delivery device can use this Advance information can be controlled such that at the time of the effective weft need enough weft on the Storage drum is located, the thread delivery device or a upstream control unit controlling the thread delivery device the speed controls the winding member in such a way that, for example, the maximum Speed of the winding member remains as low as possible, and / or that Accelerate or decelerate the take-up member as slowly as possible.
- a thread delivery device has, such as in the Document WO 99/14149 describes a control device with a Microprocessor on, so that the thread delivery device in the present Advance information automatically puts the thread on the storage body winds up, while the speed, the acceleration or deceleration of the Winding element automatically and in particular determined such that the Weft thread experiences a not too high mechanical load.
- the method according to the invention thus has the advantage that the Weft threads are relatively gentle even with a high weft requirement be wound on the storage drum, and that the trigger resistance of the weft is in a tolerable range, which increases the risk of weft breaks is reduced.
- Thread delivery devices required by the weaving machine control are controlled and monitored. All are in an advantageous arrangement Thread delivery devices connected to a common data bus, whereby preferably all thread delivery devices have a common information signal regarding the weft requirement.
- This common Information signal is at least the information encoded when which Thread delivery device has a lot of weft to deliver. So everyone is Thread delivery device due to the in the common information signal contained advance information automatically capable of doing the required Quantity of weft threads on the storage drum by the specified time to wind up, the winding member being controlled in such an optimized manner, that there is little stress on the weft thread.
- the common information signal every complete weaving machine cycle again Thread delivery devices transmitted.
- This method has the advantage that in the event of failure or recommissioning of a thread delivery device the remaining functional thread delivery devices are controlled in this way be that these have the required weft quantity available put. Thanks to the contained in the common information signal
- the thread delivery device 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes, among other things stationary housing 5, for example via magnetic holding means connected storage drum 2 and a holding arm 5a.
- One over one Drive motor 7 driven about the longitudinal axis of the storage drum 2 rotatably mounted winding member 6 pulls a weft thread 3 from one upstream supply spool 9 and winds it around the storage drum 2, so that a stored weft thread quantity 3a is formed on it.
- the stored weft amount 3a is stored by the storage drum 2 downstream entry organs of a weaving machine, such as a gripper or a projectile, pulled and into an open Shed entered.
- On the storage drum 2 at least the for a complete weft entry required stored, preferably a multiple of the required Weft length is saved.
- the one for a complete Weft entry required or the weft requirement The required weft thread length depends on the weaving width. For one The specified weaving width is the weft requirement for a complete Weft thread entry thus a constant size.
- a sensor 4 arranged on the holding arm 5a with sensor elements 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d monitors the length of the wound amount of weft 3a and transmits the measurement signals to an via an electrical line 4e Control device 8, which also via an electrical line 7a Drive motor 7 controls.
- the control device 8 is via a data bus 10 connected to a higher-level weaving machine control device 12.
- FIG. 2 shows a plurality of thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, ... 1h, For example, eight thread delivery devices 1, which have a common Data bus 10 are connected to the weaving machine control device 12.
- the data bus 10 has a terminating resistor 11 at one end.
- a person skilled in the art is familiar with a large number of hardware configurations Data bus 10 and a variety of software protocols for Transmission of digital data known.
- the CAN protocol Controller Area Network
- Intel and Bosch used, as for example in the article by L. Fredriksson (4596 Mechatronics, 4 (1994) March, No.2, Head. Hill Hall, Oxford GB or is defined in ISO standard 11898.
- the Message 20 has a length L and comprises a plurality of frames 20a (frames) and a data part 20b (data part).
- the data part usually comprises 0 to 8 bytes of data, in accordance with FIG. 3 illustrated embodiment 5 bytes.
- Fig. 3 is the time sequence of by Weaving machine control device 12 generated control signals shown.
- Time t is shown on the abscissa.
- the signal 13 is the temporal Sequence of successive shaft movements in the weaving machine shown, which for the training of the shed and the following Serve weft entry.
- the angle trigger signal 14 as well as the trigger signal 14b could also be generated electronically, with which signals all components of the weaving machine can be operated synchronized. Such an arrangement is also called a called electronic crankshaft.
- the weaving machine has four Thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d which the weft threads number S1, S2, Feed S3 and S4.
- the weft threads S1 and S3 have the same color, whereas the other weft threads S2 and S4 have a different color.
- a table is stored in the weaving machine control device 12 in FIG which is the color sequence of the weft threads S1, S2, S3, S4 to be entered is saved.
- the Loom control device 12 a message 20 via the data bus 10 transmitted to all four thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, the data part 16a has a length of 5 bytes, or the information of the Weft requirements for five consecutive weft entries includes.
- the data byte 21a contains the information in the next following shed n weft thread S2 to be entered.
- the others four data bytes 21b contain the information of four subsequent ones Weft entries.
- the columns 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d and 15e are the Shown for the sake of clarity and refer to that Weft thread S1, S2, S3, S4 associated shed n, in which the Weft thread S1, S2, S3, S4 is entered.
- message 20 only the data part 16a, but not the information in column 15a transmitted, since the order of the data bytes determines the order of the weft thread S1, S2, S3, S4 to be entered is implicitly known.
- Thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d transmitted. Since all data of the Data part 16b in the same message 20 will be at the same time transmitted. Each thread delivery device 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d then has the Information of the data part 16b.
- the thread delivery device 1b which provides the weft thread S2 is known to be open Shed n + 3 and n + 5 weft S2 from the storage drum 2 is subtracted.
- this can Control the thread delivery device 1b the winding member 6 in such a way that in time a sufficient amount of weft thread 3a on the storage drum 2 is stored, and that this weft thread quantity 3a is as gentle as possible is wound on the storage drum 2.
- the data parts 16c, 16d and 16e show further contents of the position of the crankshaft synchronously transmitted messages 20.
- the thread delivery device 1 a breaks the weft thread S1 fixed and reports this event using an interrupt signal 23 the data bus 10 of the weaving machine control device 12. Since the Thread delivery devices 1a and 1c weft threads S1, S3 of the same color the loom control device generates with the saved the next following data part 16e is modified compared to the data part 16d Control of the thread delivery devices 1a, 1c by not at the point N + 6 more, as designated by 22a, the weft S1 from the thread delivery device 1 a is withdrawn, but, as indicated by 22b, the weft thread S3 from Thread delivery device 1c is withdrawn. Because the information labeled 22b in the area of the advance information is the thread delivery device 1c enough time to meet the required weft requirements provide.
- FIG. 4 shows the course of the take-off speed 17 and the winding speed 19 of a weft thread S1 on the storage drum 2 of the thread delivery device 1a.
- a weft thread quantity 3a is stored, which is sufficient for at least two complete weft entries.
- the removable weft S1 remains stationary until the time t o and the weft removal speed is thus 0 m / s. Beginning at the time to, the weft S1 is drawn off from the storage drum 2, the weft S1 experiencing an acceleration 17b and then being drawn off at a constant take-off speed 17c.
- the thread delivery device 1 a would deliver the weft thread S1 at a delivery speed corresponding to the curve profile 18 without prior information, in that the take-up element 6 is strongly accelerated after the time to in order to replenish the weft thread supply on the storage drum 2 with refilled weft threads. It is necessary that the supply speed, as can be seen from the curve 18, lies above the take-off speed 17c for a certain period of time in order to supply the weft thread S1 drawn off from the storage drum 2 again.
- the method according to the invention as can be seen from the course of the curve 19 representing the weft thread delivery speed, enables the weft thread S1 to be fed in much more gently.
- the take-up member 6 already begins to rotate before the time to, so that weft thread S1 is wound onto the storage drum 2.
- a certain amount of weft thread S1 has already been fed in, so that, as can be seen from FIG. 4, the curve 19 requires a much smaller slope than the curve 18 and, in addition, the curve 19 has only a slight overshoot.
- the thread delivery device 1a is able to control the speed of the winding member 6 based on the information 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d, 16e available in such a way that the acceleration of the weft thread S1 remains as low as possible and / or the winding speed remains as low as possible.
- the weft thread S1 could be in front of the Time to, therefore in curve section 17a, already with a Take-off speed of 5 m / s, for example. To the At time to, the weft S1 would have a higher one Take-off speed 17c deducted. In this case too Thread delivery device 1a the take-up member 6 thanks to the available Activate advance information in such a way that the weft thread S1 corresponds accordingly the course of curve 19, yarn-sparing type of storage drum is fed. Such weft withdrawal behavior occurs for example, when, as shown in Fig. 3, the thread delivery device 1a fails and then the thread requirement is supplied by the thread delivery device 1c must be what the weft withdrawal speed on Thread delivery device 1c doubled.
- the data bus 10 is based on the arrangement Loom control device 12 with control devices 24a, 24b, 24d connected.
- the thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1g, 1h are electrical Lines 25a, 25b, 25c, 25d, 25g, 25h each in pairs with one Control device 24a, 24b, 24d connected.
- the control device 24a, 24b, 24d processes the information and provided on the data bus 10 also calculates the advantageous speed of each Winding element 6, in particular accelerating it Braking.
- Thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1g, 1h with respect to control electronics can be designed very simply.
- Thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1g, 1h with the inventive Process operable are also older ones Thread delivery devices 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1g, 1h with the inventive Process operable.

Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Fadenliefergerätes
einer Webmaschine gemäss dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a method for operating a thread delivery device
a loom according to the preamble of
From the document EP 0 811 573 A2 an embodiment of the most common type of thread delivery device known for Caching a weft thread is used. To enter one The weft thread in a shed formed by a weaving machine becomes the As is well known, weft thread is drawn from a supply spool, a specific one Weft thread length on the buffer of the thread delivery device saved, and then the weft using a projectile or a gripper entered in the shed.
In WO 90/09475 is an arrangement for controlling Thread delivery devices in weaving machines disclosed, the weaving machine the information regarding every thread delivery device after every eight beats submitted a fabric swatch for the next eight beats.
When operating such a thread delivery device, the problem arises that the trigger voltage of that stored on the clipboard Weft thread from the winding speed of a winding member depends on what the weft is used on a storage drum of the To wrap thread delivery device.
It is an object of the present invention, the yarn delivery devices To operate the weaving machine in such a way that the weft thread is smaller Is exposed to stress.
Anspruch 1. Die Unteransprüche 2 bis 6 beziehen sich auf weitere,
vorteilhafte Verfahrensschritte. This object is achieved with a method having the features of
The task is solved in particular with a method for operation a thread delivery device of a weaving machine by the thread delivery device at the same time the weft requirement of at least two following ones Weft entries are transmitted. In a preferred method are the thread delivery device the information for four, five, eight, twelve or for example, sixteen subsequent weft entries at the same time transmitted. The thread delivery device thus has a Advance information, in addition to the weft requirements of the next weft entry the information regarding the Weft thread requirement for at least one further, subsequent one Weft thread entry is present. The thread delivery device can use this Advance information can be controlled such that at the time of the effective weft need enough weft on the Storage drum is located, the thread delivery device or a upstream control unit controlling the thread delivery device the speed controls the winding member in such a way that, for example, the maximum Speed of the winding member remains as low as possible, and / or that Accelerate or decelerate the take-up member as slowly as possible. A thread delivery device has, such as in the Document WO 99/14149 describes a control device with a Microprocessor on, so that the thread delivery device in the present Advance information automatically puts the thread on the storage body winds up, while the speed, the acceleration or deceleration of the Winding element automatically and in particular determined such that the Weft thread experiences a not too high mechanical load.
The method according to the invention thus has the advantage that the Weft threads are relatively gentle even with a high weft requirement be wound on the storage drum, and that the trigger resistance of the weft is in a tolerable range, which increases the risk of weft breaks is reduced.
A plurality of is usually required for operating a weaving machine Thread delivery devices required by the weaving machine control are controlled and monitored. All are in an advantageous arrangement Thread delivery devices connected to a common data bus, whereby preferably all thread delivery devices have a common information signal regarding the weft requirement. In this common Information signal is at least the information encoded when which Thread delivery device has a lot of weft to deliver. So everyone is Thread delivery device due to the in the common information signal contained advance information automatically capable of doing the required Quantity of weft threads on the storage drum by the specified time to wind up, the winding member being controlled in such an optimized manner, that there is little stress on the weft thread.
In an advantageous method, the common information signal every complete weaving machine cycle again Thread delivery devices transmitted. This method has the advantage that in the event of failure or recommissioning of a thread delivery device the remaining functional thread delivery devices are controlled in this way be that these have the required weft quantity available put. Thanks to the contained in the common information signal The functional thread delivery devices in the Able to control the take-up member in such an optimized manner that the required More or less amount of weft thread avoiding a larger one Weft loading on the respective storage drums is available stands.

dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel 5 Bytes.5 shows an example of a data structure according to the CAN protocol,
which is used to control the
synchronisiert übertragenen Mitteilungen 20.In Fig. 3 is the time sequence of by

bereitzustellen. An advantageous error correction method is also based on the

abgezogene Menge Schussfaden S1 wieder nachzuliefern.
Zum Zeitpunkt to
Aufwickelgeschwindigkeit möglichst gering bleibt.FIG. 4 shows the course of the take-
weitergeführt werden kann.4, the weft thread S1 could be in front of the

Aufwickelorganes 6, insbesondere dessen Beschleunigen beziehungsweise
Abbremsen.
Verfahren betreibbar.7 is another arrangement of the loom
