Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a high-current contact, in particular a Stekkerbuchse for electrical connectors, which consist of a dimensionally stable, at least formed over a part of its length as a hollow cylinder metal body and one in its designed as a hollow cylinder area, a variety with a into the socket to be inserted pin in lines or stripe-shaped contact passing means, such as contact wires or contact strip having contact spring socket, wherein the contact wires or contact strip of the contact spring bushing at both ends connected by means of a circumferential band of material and overall in a hyperbolic Form are aligned, and further wherein the contact spring bushing its one end is fixed axially immovable in the metal body.
zumindest innerhalb gewisser Grenzen toleranzunempfindliche gegenseitige
aufgegeben.Such a high current contact or such a high current contact-containing contact socket is known for example from DD-PS 67 484. Characteristic of this design of a high-current contact-containing contact spring bushing is the two-part design of the well dimensionally stable, the contact spring bushing receiving and supporting metal body. The metal body consists of a so-called. Lötanschlußbolzen and the Kontaktfederbuchse ummantelnden sleeve and is assembled in total by pressing the sleeve with an axially directed nozzle of Lötanschlußbolzens to form a unit, wherein the contact spring socket on its inner end forming metal strip between the neck of the Lötanschlußbolzens and the sleeve is pressed. This construction is based on the assumption that the main burden is directed at the joining of a connector in the direction of the inner bush bottom and therefore a support of the contact spring sleeve against a radially extending collar of Lötanschlußbolzens is sufficient to absorb the occurring during operation of a detachable connector main stress of the socket , For the sufficient safety of the press connection between the solder connection pin and contact bushing and the sheathing sleeve is then considered, in the interest of economical production of the socket, the attachment of a knurl on the engaging in the contact spring bushing or at the same time the sheathing sleeve connecting piece of Lötanschlußbolzens sufficient ,
Whether, given the unavoidable in mass parts tolerances and tolerance tolerances in particular, this assumption is true or not in this type of a high-current contact-containing socket remain undecided, since only their multi-part training a considerable manufacturing cost both for the production and for the merging and the subsequent mutual alignment and compression of the total of three separate parts of the socket requires.
To this type of sockets adhering disadvantages, be with respect to the effort required for their production or in particular the improvement of their mechanical strength regarding according to DE-PS 35 28 587 has also been proposed to engage in composite socket in the sleeve enveloping the contact spring bushing Neck of the Lötanschlußbolzens to be provided with a radial constriction, so that in the mutual connection of Lötanschlußbolzen and sleeve in a contact or. Plug extension direction positive support between Lötanschlußbolzen and sleeve is formed, which also still ensures a relatively secure cohesion of the contact device as a whole, when pressed together with the sleeve and the jacketed by this contact spring bushing against the radial constriction of the neck of the Lötanschlußbolzens and thus supported.
If hereby a form-fitting in the axial direction and thus safe and tolerances insensitive at least within certain limits mutual support of the individual parts of the contact socket can be achieved, but it is also this design of a high-current contact-containing contact socket with the disadvantage of a multipart, namely three-piece design and the resulting manufacturing costs tainted.
In other types of a high-current contact-containing sockets for electrical connectors although a one-piece design of the contact spring jacketed sleeve is provided with a Lötanschlußbolzen, but this is in all these types, as shown particularly clearly in EP-OS 0653880 and described , The contact spring bushing only at the free, in the insertion direction of the plug pin forward end by means of press fit and possibly complementary positive locking means on the sleeve enclosing it. The inner end of the contact spring bushing is arranged with an axial and a radial distance to the receiving and supporting bush or cavity formation in the one-piece metal body. In all such forms of the advantage of a form-fitting in the insertion direction of the pin support of the contact spring socket in favor of a simplified, ie fewer items comprehensive training and thus abandoned a simplified assembly of the socket.
The invention is therefore the object of an inexpensive producible one High current contact socket having the initially described Design further develop to the effect that they are absolutely safer mechanical strength in both directions of only two parts composed and, largely tolerance-independent, with the least possible Production cost is feasible.
Steckerbuchse sehr erheblich verringert.
This task is based on one equipped with a high current contact
Socket according to the preamble of
In a realization form considered advantageous, it is initially provided that that formed as a hollow cylinder length portion of the metal body in the area its inner end a radial expansion of its clear diameter having. This makes it possible in connection or working unit, i. without any additional effort, with the training of a press fit between the inner metal band of the contact spring bush and as Hollow cylinder formed longitudinal portion of the metal body at the same time with respect to the extension direction of the cooperating with the socket contact pin a positive connection of the two parts, contact spring bushing and metal body to produce together. In particular, this is preferred provided that the radial extension of the hollow cylinder a fraction the material thickness of the contact wires or contact strip of the contact spring socket interconnecting metal band is.
In conjunction with an axially immovable definition of one end of the Contact spring bush in the bottom of the hollow cylinder of the metal body is the one free end of the hollow cylinder facing the end of the contact spring bushing in this guided with sliding seat, such that a length compensation for the during insertion of the plug pin in the contact spring bushing outwardly moved contact spring strip is guaranteed. In a particularly expedient, because an exact Guide the free end of the contact spring bushing ensuring embodiment can be provided in detail that the trained as a hollow cylinder Length section of the metal body in the region of its outer end and in particular to this then a radial expansion of its clear Has diameter and this expansion at least over the vast majority Part of the axial extent of the associated metal strip of the contact spring bushing towards a cylindrical configuration. The depth of the radial expansion is designed as a hollow cylinder length portion of the metal body expediently limited to a small amount, so that the free end the contact spring bushing forming circumferential metal band without significant Press only with sliding fit on the inner circumference of the hollow cylinder.
For an additional backup of the contact spring socket in Kontaktstiftauszugsrichtung To create can still be provided that as a hollow cylinder formed longitudinal portion of the metal body in the region of its outer free end at least at one point of its circumference a radial having inwardly directed reduction in its clear diameter. In a first simple design, the radially inwardly directed Reduction of the clear diameter of the formed as a hollow cylinder length portion of the metal body by an inward and the outer end of the contact spring bushing arranged metal band cross-over Beading be formed.
The possible embodiments of an additional axial in the context of the invention However, pull-out protection for the contact spring bush is not one such Training limited and may also consist in that the radial inward reduction of the clear diameter of the hollow cylinder formed longitudinal section of the metal body by at least one after formed inside embossing of the hollow cylinder or its free end face is.
In a further advantageous embodiment of a consisting of only two parts Hochstromkontaktes can still be provided that the metal body in the axial Extension to his trained as a hollow cylinder and the contact spring bushing receiving longitudinal section still has a Litzenanschlußbereich and is formed in one piece with this overall. It can then also be provided that the total one-piece trained Metal body formed by a rotating part and in the region of its longitudinal center between his trained as a hollow cylinder and his than Litzenanschluß Area is provided with a radial recess. The invention is by no means to such a design or. Education manner limited to the metal body, but also includes its production an optionally radially deformed metal pipe section or the like Semis.
