【0003】図6は、切削加工によって製造された従来
の雌端子の断面図である。同図において雌端子20は、
中実の丸棒の外周ならびに内部をバイト等の切削工具に
よってり出した中空円筒状で、その先端には雄端子を
嵌挿させる接続部21を有し、また後端には電線を圧着
させる電線圧着部22を備えて成る。接続部21は直径
がd1の円筒形の嵌挿室21Aと、この嵌挿室21A入
り口に設けられた、直径が前記d1よりも小さいd2の
係止突条21Dと、さらに奥部に設けられた直径がd2
の係止壁21Cを備える。係止突条21Dの先端は外部
に開口した導入口21Bを形成し、また係止突条21D
の後端は軸方向に垂直に拡径された係止壁21Eを形成
する。一方、係止壁21Cは軸方向に垂直に縮径されて
いる。この結果、両係止壁21E、21C間に直径がd
1の円柱状空間が形成され、この空間に、導電性で中空
筒状の接触バネ部材6(図4参照)が嵌着される。

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 雄端子が嵌挿可能な内壁から構成された
嵌挿室を有する中空筒の接続部を一端に、電線を嵌挿可
能な内径を有する中空筒状の電線圧着部を他端に備え、
前記嵌挿室内壁に、中空円筒状の円環部から内側に弾性
を有して突出した複数個のスプリング片を備えた接触バ
ネ部材を嵌着して成る雌端子において、前記接続部を構
成する中空筒外壁に螺条を設け、円筒状の内壁にバネ部
材係止用の底を有するとともに、該底の中央部に前記雄
端子が嵌挿可能な端子導入口を有し、該円筒内壁先端か
ら底方向に、前記螺条に螺合する螺溝を設けたキャップ
を前記接続部先端に着脱可能に配設して構成したことを
特徴とする雌端子。
