Abstract
The invention discloses a connector terminal and a connector, which comprise a terminal base body and an elastic contact piece, wherein the inserting end of the terminal base body is of a U-shaped structure, each side surface in the U-shaped structure is provided with at least one first clamping groove along the direction vertical to the inserting direction, the elastic contact piece is a ring spring, and the ring spring is arranged in the first clamping groove after being compressed; the support provided by the invention not only can further improve the assembly efficiency of the terminal, but also can effectively ensure that the terminal forms good contact and has stable electrical and mechanical properties through the mutual matching and fixing of the terminal base body, the elastic contact piece, the support and the limiting structures of the buckle cover.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of electric connectors, in particular to a connector terminal and a connector.
Background
The following two general connector terminal structures can be classified: the terminal comprises a terminal base body and an elastic contact element, or the terminal base body and the elastic contact element are integrally formed. The terminal base body is usually machined by cutting or stamping, but the terminal base bodies produced by the two machining methods have obvious disadvantages, such as low material utilization rate, long manufacturing period, complex structure and inconvenient assembly, which leads to higher cost and unstable electrical and mechanical properties of the terminal. Aiming at the defects of the current terminal, the technical scheme of the terminal needs to be innovatively designed.
Patent publication CN111653888A discloses a blade-type jack structure and a connector, in which the contact reliability is solved by additionally adding an elastic contact element in a U-shaped opening, but the elastic contact element adopts an externally-hung connection mode, and when receiving a pulling and inserting acting force, the elastic contact element is easily pulled out of the U-shaped structure, resulting in the falling of the connector.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to design a novel connector terminal and a connector based on the prior art, which can improve the connection reliability and ensure the connection performance.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a connector terminal comprises a terminal base body and an elastic contact piece, wherein the plugging end of the terminal base body is of a U-shaped structure, at least one first clamping groove is arranged on each side surface in the U-shaped structure along the plugging direction,
the elastic contact piece is a ring spring, and the ring spring is arranged in the first clamping groove after being compressed.

The terminal comprises a terminal base body 1, a buckle cover 3, a ring spring 2 and a support 4, wherein the terminal base body 1 and the ring spring 2 are indispensable parts, and the buckle cover and the support are assembled according to actual conditions and have multiple assembly modes. Wherein:
the terminal base body comprises a contact part 1-2 and a wiring part 1-3 as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, wherein the contact part 1-2 is a U-shaped structure 1-1 with three open sides. The inserting starting positions of two side surfaces of the U-shaped structure 1-1 are provided with bosses 1-11, and the side surfaces of the bosses 1-11 are provided with first limiting holes 1-12. Two side surfaces in the U-shaped structure 1-1 are respectively provided with a first clamping groove 1-21 and a third clamping groove 1-22, two side surfaces in the U-shaped structure 1-1 are also provided with a through second limiting hole 1-23, and the second limiting hole 1-23 is communicated into the third clamping groove 1-22.

As shown in fig. 5, which is an extension of the structure of fig. 4, a side wall 3-3 is added to the end face of the buckle cover. As shown in FIG. 6, which is an extension of the structure of FIG. 5, the length of the side 3-3 can be increased to prevent the spring contacts in the U-shaped structure 1-1 from sliding off the sides.
As shown in fig. 7, the structural diagram of the bracket is shown, and the bracket comprises a cross beam 4-2 and longitudinal beams connected to two ends of the cross beam 4-2 respectively, wherein the longitudinal beams are symmetrically connected with the cross beam 4-2, and the whole bracket is in an i-shaped structure. Wherein, a through opening structure is arranged on the cross beam 4-2 along the direction of the longitudinal beam, a second clamping groove 4-1 is arranged on the longitudinal beam, a second buckle 4-3 is arranged on the outer side surface of the cross beam 4-2, and the second buckle 4-3 is matched with the second limit hole 1-23.
Example one
As shown in fig. 8, the ring spring 2 shown in fig. 3 is compressed and enters from the side of the terminal base body, two sides of the ring spring 2 are respectively clamped in the first clamping grooves 1-21, and the center ring of the ring spring is compressed and parallel to the opening of the U-shaped structure 1-1. When the external connector is inserted into the ring spring in the U-shaped structure 1-1 and is limited by the first clamping grooves 1-21, the ring spring 2 cannot be brought out of the U-shaped structure 1-1 due to stress, and meanwhile, the first clamping grooves 1-21 and the ring spring 2 are kept in electrical contact, so that current conduction is realized.
Example two
As shown in fig. 9, on the basis of the first embodiment, a bracket is added, a ring spring 2 is sleeved on a longitudinal beam on the bracket, the ring spring is limited by a second clamping groove 4-1, and then the bracket is integrally inserted into a U-shaped structure 1-1. The ring spring is clamped in the first clamping groove 1-21, the cross beam 4-2 of the bracket is clamped in the third clamping groove 1-22, and the second clamp 4-3 on the outer side of the cross beam 4-2 is matched with the second limiting hole 1-23.
EXAMPLE III

The contact part 1-2 is provided with a first clamping groove 1-21, and the elastic contact piece is loaded from the side of the terminal base body 1 after being compressed along the radial direction; further, the elastic contact piece may be assembled with the holder and then installed from the side of the terminal base body. After the elastic contact piece is installed, the elastic contact piece is matched with the first clamping groove 1-21, the elastic contact piece 2 is prevented from loosening along the plugging direction, and meanwhile, the first clamping groove 1-21 and the elastic contact piece 2 are kept in electric contact, so that current conduction is realized. Furthermore, the third clamping grooves 1-22 are buckled with the cross beam 4-2, and the second limiting holes 1-23 are buckled with the second buckles 4-3, so that the support and the terminal base body are assembled and fixed. Furthermore, the bosses 1-11 are matched with the grooves 3-1, and the limiting bosses 3-11 and 3-12 on the two sides of the grooves 3-1 limit the U-shaped structures 1-1 to expand outwards or contract inwards, so that the stability of the size of the terminal opening is ensured, and the stable electric connection performance is ensured. Further, the first limiting hole 1-12 is buckled with the first buckle 3-2, so that the buckle cover and the terminal base body are assembled and fixed; further, if the cover described in FIG. 11 is selected, the side walls 3-3 prevent the elastic contact pieces in the U-shaped structure 1-1 from sliding off the sides.
In all embodiments, the terminal base is a profile, and all structural features on the profile are formed at one time (an equal cross-section structure) by drawing or extruding, as shown in fig. 13, for terminals with different electrical and mechanical performance requirements, the terminal is cut into parts with different length specifications along a forming direction perpendicular to the profile, and the plated terminal can be assembled with the elastic contact piece, the bracket (optional or optional) and the buckle cover (optional or optional) into a whole without subsequent cutting or simple cutting. Through the use of the section bar, the material utilization rate is greatly improved, the cost is reduced, the structure of the section bar is simple, and the processing and assembling time of parts is effectively reduced. The support not only can further promote the assembly efficiency of terminal, moreover through mutually supporting and fixing between terminal base member, elastic contact spare, support, buckle closure each part, can guarantee effectively that the terminal forms good contact, guarantees that it has stable electric and mechanical properties.
An embodiment of the connector of the present invention includes a connector housing, an insulator disposed in the connector housing, and a terminal structure mounted in the insulator, and the terminal is the same as the terminal in the above-described embodiment of the present invention, and is not described again.

Claims (10)
1. A connector terminal comprising a terminal base body and an elastic contact piece, characterized in that:
the plug end of the terminal base body is of a U-shaped structure, at least one first clamping groove is arranged on each side surface in the U-shaped structure along the direction vertical to the plug direction,
the elastic contact piece is a ring spring, and the ring spring is arranged in the first clamping groove after being compressed.
2. A connector terminal as claimed in claim 1, comprising a cover connected to an end of the U-shaped structure, the cover having an opening therethrough.
3. The connector terminal as claimed in claim 2, wherein the insertion start positions of the two sides of the U-shaped structure are provided with bosses, and the ends of the locking covers corresponding to the bosses are provided with grooves.
4. A connector terminal as claimed in claim 3, wherein a side wall is provided on the end face where the recess is located.
5. The connector terminal according to claim 2, wherein two side surfaces of the U-shaped structure are respectively provided with a first limiting hole, and a first buckle is disposed on an inner wall of the buckle cover at a position corresponding to the first limiting hole.

The connector terminal according to claim 1, comprising a bracket, wherein the bracket comprises a cross beam, two ends of the cross beam are respectively connected to a longitudinal beam, the cross beam has an opening structure with two ends passing through along the plugging direction, the longitudinal beam is provided with a second slot, the ring spring is sleeved in the second slot of the two longitudinal beams, the elastic contact piece and the bracket are integrally inserted into the U-shaped structure, and the ring spring is correspondingly arranged in the first slot.
7. The connector terminal according to claim 6, wherein: each side surface in the U-shaped structure is at least provided with two first clamping grooves, and a third clamping groove is arranged between every two adjacent first clamping grooves.

two second clamping grooves are symmetrically arranged on one longitudinal beam along the cross beam, ring springs arranged in the second clamping grooves are respectively matched with the first clamping grooves, the cross beam is arranged in the third clamping groove,
and a second limiting hole penetrating through the side surface of the U-shaped structure is formed in the third clamping groove, and a second buckle is arranged on the cross beam and is matched with the second limiting hole.
