Claims (10)

  1. Floor wiping device with a handle 4 which is secured cardanically at its end to a support plate (22), and two frame sections (24', 24") fitted on the support plate (22) for receiving a replaceable cover(2), where a frame section (24") is swivelled about a shaft on the support plate 22) and can be retained in its extended position by a locking device (40), characterised in that the handle (4), when aligned vertically with the support plate (22), can be displaced in the longitudinal direction from a working position through a second position, in which the handle (4) is freestanding, into a third position in which the locking device (40) is detached so that the pivoted frame section (24") can be swivelled out of the extended position.
  2. Floor wiping device according to claim 1, characterised in that in the support plate (22) is provided a guide hole (28) through which the handle (4) may be moved into the third position.
  3. Floor wiping device according to claim 2, characterised in that the guide hole (28) is surrounded by a projecting shoulder (30).
  4. Floor wiping device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the locking device (40) comprises at least one rail (44) and at least one bolt element (42) which, in the extended position, is secured so that it snaps in the rail (44).
  5. Floor wiping device according to claim 4, characterised in that the bolt element (42) has a bow-shaped design and is arranged on the pivoted frame section (24"), the rail (44) being arranged on the support plate (22).
  6. Floor wiping device according to claim 5, characterised in that the pivoted frame section (24") exhibits recesses (48', 48") so that the bolt element (42) is accessible and can be moved manually from the rail (44).
  7. Floor wiping device according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterised in that the rail (44) is formed by a flange.
  8. Floor wiping device according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterised in that a displacing element (46) is fitted to the bolt element (42) so that in the extended position the former is arranged underneath the guide hole (28) and, when the handle (4) is displaced, can be moved laterally into its third position, as a result of which the bolt element (42) is moved out of the rail (44).
  9. Floor wiping device according to claim 8, characterised in that the displacing element (46) is hook- or eye-shaped in design and is laterally displaced in one direction opposite the guide hole (28).
  10. Floor wiping device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the cardanic suspension comprises a crankshaft (18), which is supported in brackets (20', 20"), and a transverse hole (14) in the handle (4) arranged rotatably on the crankshaft (18), the transverse hole (14) being designed as a slot so that the handle (4) can be displaced in the longitudinal direction.
