Figur 1 zeigt die für den Mischerantrieb wichtigen Elemente, während die übrigen Teile, insbesondere der Antrieb für die Stössel und die Anordnung im Gehäuse, beispielsweise gemäss der europäischen Patentanmeldung Nr. 98810446.9 ausgebildet sein können.FIG. 1 shows the elements that are important for the mixer drive, while the other parts, in particular the drive for the plunger and the arrangement in the housing, can be designed, for example, according to European patent application No. 98810446.9.

Figure 1 shows the device 1 with the lower part 2, the double cartridge 3, the dynamic mixer 4 and the drive shaft 5 with driver 6 for the dynamic mixer. In order to ensure a minimal flow path of the components, the mixer is located on the connecting straight line of the outlets of the cartridge container and between the extension of the outlets or between the imaginary extension of the cartridge container. Although this is the most convenient location for the mixer, minor deviations are also possible. It follows that, depending on the cross-sectional ratio of the container of the cartridges The position of the mixer in relation to the lower part of the device or the ram axes changes.

The rotor of the dynamic mixer 4 is driven by an electric drive, not shown, which acts on the mixer drive shaft 5 via a drive shaft 7, gear wheels 8 and a toothed belt 9. The mixer drive shaft is arranged so as to be pivotable via a bracket 10 with multiple bearings and a pivot lever 12 supported on the same axis 11. In addition, the mixer is attached to the outlet of the cartridge by a bayonet ring 75, which can also be a screwable ring.

The mixer drive shaft is supported on the drive side on a compression spring 13 and is thereby held in engagement with the rotor of the dynamic mixer. The mixer shaft can, for example, be pulled out of the mixer manually according to EP-B-492 413 or, as in the present example, by means of a slide bridge 14 which moves with the slide at the end of the return stroke.

As described later, when inserting double cartridges with different ratios of the cross-sections, the mixer drive shaft is automatically swiveled into the correct position and fixed in grids 15 after prior replacement of the guide strips for the cartridge positioning by means of the curvature of the cartridge cylinders, with which the device after Put the dynamic mixer is ready for operation again.

Figures 2 and 3 show the device according to Figure 1 from above, in Figure 2, a double cartridge 16 with two cylindrical containers 17 and 18 is inserted, the two cross-sectional areas have the ratio 5: 1. In FIG. 3, the double cartridge 3 from FIG. 1 is inserted in the same lower part 2 of the device, which has the same containers 19 and 20 with the cross-sectional ratio 1: 1. It can be seen from the comparison of FIGS. 2 and 3 that, on the one hand, the two discharge plungers 21 and 22 have the same center distance A for all double cartridges, despite different cross-sectional ratios, while the drive shaft 5 or the driver, depending on the cross-sectional ratio, has a different end position , In the present exemplary embodiment, the displacement takes place by pivoting parallel to the longitudinal axes of the containers, the two end positions of the driver, corresponding to the central axis Z of the mixer or the rotor, lying on the connecting straight line of the container outlets, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 4 and 5 ,

However, it is also possible to move the mixer shaft instead of by pivoting through a parallel guide, especially when using more than two different double cartridges, or to provide a flexible mixer drive shaft which also enables the driver to be displaced. However, the drive shaft is always displaced such that the driver is in the end position on the central axis Z of the mixer rotor in order to ensure correct drive.

The use of the same device 1 for double cartridges with different cross sections, ie with different geometric dimensions, results in the requirement of the double cartridge and the dynamic mixer in relation to the Align the plunger and the mixer drive shaft. The exact guidance and positioning of the cartridges and thus also of the dynamic mixer takes place - starting from a device that is always the same with the same lower part of the device - according to the invention through the use of a cartridge holder with exchangeable guide strips which are adapted to the different diameters of the cartridge containers and are inserted into the cartridge holder, or by means of alignment, which are attached to the cartridges.

In the present examples according to FIGS. 4 and 5, two double cartridges with a cross-sectional ratio of 5: 1 and 1: 1 are specified, but it goes without saying that this can be transferred to further cross-sectional ratios, for example from 1: 1 to 10: 1. When comparing FIGS. 4 and 5 it can be seen that the cartridge receptacle 23 on the one side, here on the right, has a radius of curvature R24 which corresponds to the curvature of the container 19, that is to say the 1: 1 cartridge 3, and the radius of curvature R25 of the left side the cartridge receptacle corresponds to the radius of curvature of the larger container 18 of the double cartridge 16.

This shows that in the cross-sectional ratios given above, a container of the double cartridge always lies directly on the cartridge holder. The respective other container, here 17 or 20, rests on a guide bar 26 or 27, which is supported on the cartridge holder.

The cartridge holder is supported by two arms 28 and 29 on the walls 30 and 31 of the lower part 2 of the device, the cartridge holder being provided with longitudinal grooves 32, 33, into which a corresponding leg 34 or 35 of the guide bar engages. These legs are designed or coded in such a way that the guide strips cannot be inserted the wrong way round. The second leg 36 or 37 of the guide bar 26 or 27 is supported on the curved part of the cartridge holder. Of course, the radii of curvature R38 and R39 of the guide strips are the same as those of the containers, here 17 and 20, which accommodate them.

The device 1 also has a housing cover 52 which has an alignment web 54 on the inside of the upper wall 53, which is arranged in the central region and has a bevelled part 55 and a horizontal part 56. These two parts serve to hold down and align either the connecting flange 49 of the 5: 1 cartridge 16, 116 or 216, see FIG. 4 or 9, or the connecting flange 51 of the 1: 1 cartridge, see FIG. 5 or 11.

Instead of using guide strips, it is also possible to provide appropriate spacers on the cartridges. Such variants are shown in FIGS. 6 to 11, wherein the spacers can be arranged on the container wall and / or on the outlets or on the flanges.

In FIG. 6, the double cartridge 116 corresponds to the double cartridge 16 from FIG. 4 with the two containers 117 and 18. The larger container 18 is the same as in FIG. 4, while the wall of the container 117 with a smaller cross section has two spacers 44 and 45, which are provided to lie on the cartridge holder 23 and correspond to the guide bar 26. It is also conceivable to provide spacers on the container with a larger cross section.

In FIG. 7, the double cartridge 103, which corresponds to the double cartridge 3 from FIG. 5, has two identical containers 19 and 120, the wall of the one container 120 having two spacers 46 and 47, which correspond to the guide strip 27, in order to fit on the cartridge holder 23 to lie. With a differently designed cartridge holder, e.g. for more than two different cartridges, it is also conceivable to attach spacers to both containers.

In vorliegendem Beispiel liegen die Auslässe auf der Verbindungsgeraden beider Behältermittelachsen.FIGS. 4 and 5, and 6 and 7, furthermore show the double cartridge 16 and 116 with the outlets 40 and 41, for example with different outlet diameters, and the double cartridge 3 and 103 with the two outlets 42 and 43, which have the same diameter, and the mixer drive shaft 5. The comparison of FIGS. 4 and 5 shows that the axis of the drive shaft 5 is displaced since it is always between the two cartridge containers or between the two outlets , is located. The mixer and thus the driver are located on an axis Z, which lies in an area on the connecting straight line of the two outlets and between the imaginary extension of the two containers. In the present example, the outlets lie on the connecting straight line of the two container center axes.

In Figures 8, 9 and 10, 11 it is shown that the cartridge can also be supported in the device by supporting it on the outlets on the lower part of the device in such a way that the cartridge container is always in the correct position regardless of the size ratio be inserted and held.

The cartridge 216 has two containers 17 and 18. The container 17 has an outlet 57 and the container 18 has an outlet 58, outlet 57 having spacers 59, 60 and outlet 58 having spacers 61, 62, which perform a similar function to the spacers 44-47. The spacers 59-62 are based on a recess 63 in the wall 64 of the lower part 2 of the device facing the mixer and are adapted to the dimensions of this recess. In the region of the cartridge on the ram side, a connecting web 71 is arranged, which is designed in such a way that the cartridge can be supported on the mixer drive shaft 5.

Analogously to FIGS. 8 and 9, an inserted 1: 1 cartridge is shown in FIGS. 10 and 11. The cartridge 203 has the two containers 19 and 20 with the outlets 65 and 66. The outlets are provided with spacers 67, 68 and 69, 70, which are supported on the recess 63. The cartridge also has the connecting web 72.

In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 6-11, the cartridge holder for supporting the cartridges is not necessary and in this case serves exclusively as a collecting trough.

In the sections of FIGS. 12 and 13 it can be seen that the inlets 73 and 74 of the mixer 4 have the same dimension, while in the case of the cartridges with a ratio deviating from 1: 1, the outlets 40, 57 of the containers 17, 117 with a smaller cross section a smaller diameter have than the outlets 41, 58 of the container 18 with a larger cross section. With the 1: 1 cartridges, both outlets are the same. The different dimensioning of the outlets is an adaptation to the different mixing ratio.

The diameters of the outlets of the cartridges are dimensioned such that the inlets of the mixer can either always be plugged into the outlets of the containers of the 1: 1 cartridges or one inlet can be inserted into the outlet of the container with a larger cross section and the other inlet via the outlet of the container with a smaller cross section can be pushed. With all cartridges, the mixer can therefore be turned in both positions by 180 °, i.e. without prior orientation, can be pushed onto any adapted cartridge or dosing or dispensing device. In addition, this combination of mixer inlets and device outlets is not limited to dynamic mixers.

If the mixer shaft has to be shifted laterally when the discharge ratio changes, this is done automatically by the shape of the container of the newly inserted cartridge, the mixer shaft being simultaneously fixed in one of the grids 15. This shift is ensured by the wedge action of one wall of a container. A recess 48 or 50 on the outlet-side connecting flange 49 or 51 of the cartridges serves for the passage and, if necessary, the fine alignment of the mixer drive shaft. At the same time and inevitably, the toothed belt drive 9 of the mixer drive shaft 5 is also pivoted.

In the present example, the small distance between the cartridge containers allows the mixer drive shaft to pass through, but there is no space for driving it. For this reason, their drive is located in the rear part of the device, outside the cartridge and slide area.

Of course, the devices can be designed in the same way as described here for the cross-sectional ratios 1: 1 and 5: 1, for any other ratios. If, for example, a ratio of 2: 1 were required, this would either require a different cartridge holder or two guide strips or corresponding spacers, while the remaining parts of the device would be identical to the 1: 1/5: 1 device shown.

In the present examples, double cartridges were described that have to be disposed of after use. The same device with the same parts can also be used for support cartridges with tubular bags, wherein the support cartridges can optionally be provided with the same spacers as the double cartridges.
