Definitions
- the present invention relates to a board for gliding on snow comprising a textile reinforcement element.
- a textile reinforcement element For example, it’s a ski, a monoski, a surf, etc.
- Snowboarding generally has a lower set with a sole and possibly edges, as well a reinforcing element which can be fibrous or metallic.
- a reinforcing element which can be fibrous or metallic.
- On this lower assembly is placed a rigid core which can be realized in various materials.
- At the height of this nucleus are possibly on the side edges of the gliding board, reinforcing elements called songs.
- an upper assembly comprising a layer of fibrous or metallic reinforcement and an outer sheet completes the structure of this board.
- the present invention relates more particularly to Snow gliding boards for which the reinforcements used are textile reinforcements.
- the textile reinforcements used generally include a ply of wires extending in one direction and a web of wires extending in another direction. These two directions can be perpendicular but they can also have an angle other than 90 ° between them.
- the threads used in this textile reinforcement are generally, but not exclusively, made from glass fibers.
- a disadvantage of these textile reinforcements is their complexity which implies a relatively high cost price.
- delamination can be caused at the interface between polyester and glass or even inside the non-woven layer polyester.
- the present invention therefore aims to provide a board slides on snow comprising at least one textile reinforcement fixed by bonding on a core or other rigid elements such as a metal reinforcement by example, in which the structure of the textile reinforcement is simplified in order to reduce the cost.
- this textile reinforcement will present, at equal performance, lower density than known textile reinforcements.
- This textile reinforcement will preferably have better adhesion to the core, or other rigid element, of the gliding board in order to avoid delamination problems.
- the snow gliding board it offers is a board comprising at least one fibrous reinforcement.
- At least one fibrous reinforcement comprises at least less on an outer face of the composite composite bulky yarns at least two fibers of different natures.
- a volumized wire is a wire which has been made in such a way that it has a relatively large volume compared to the volume of fibers that make it up. During its manufacture, some bulking was given to this thread.
- Resin hanging nests bonding are thus carried out which make it possible to obtain good qualities of bonding by removing the synthetic intermediate layer. By the removal of the latter, shearing and damping effects provided by it are also deleted and the gliding board as well obtained is less damped and more lively.
- the volumized yarns preferably contain fibers of reinforcement and adhesion fibers.
- the bulky yarns on the one hand allow a good bonding by their structure and by their composition and on the other hand have good mechanical strength thanks to the reinforcing fibers.
- the reinforcing fibers of the volumized yarns are for example in glass, carbon or aramid while the adhesion fibers are as for example in polyester.
- the presence of polyester in yarns, and having bulky yarns, makes it possible to achieve a good bonding by obtaining good adhesion and good adhesion.
- Others fibers can be used. Those indicated above allow however to obtain good mechanical resistance for a cost price acceptable.
- the bulky yarns of the fibrous reinforcements are composed of glass fibers and polyester fibers, the proportion of polyester fibers being at least 15% on the surface.
- the volumized threads are woven and constitute the weft threads fabric obtained in a preferred embodiment.
- the volumized yarns are for example textured yarns obtained by simultaneous texturing of a reinforcing thread and a polyester thread. This - process for obtaining volumized yarn is well suited for the yarn obtained serve as a reservoir for the glue used and provides good adhesion to the core or other rigid element.
- a fibrous reinforcement advantageously comprises, in addition to a sheet of composite voluminized threads, a second layer of reinforcing threads.
- This second layer of threads includes, for example, rovings threads aligned parallel to each other. It can be connected to the wire table bulky by tying.
- the threads of the second layer can be made from fibers chosen from the group comprising glass fibers, carbon and aramid fibers. Of course, this list is not exhaustive.
- Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view of a ski 2.
- a lower assembly comprising a sole 4, edges 6 and a lower reinforcement 8.
- This ski also has a shell 10, a metal upper reinforcement 13 and an upper reinforcement 12 fibrous.
- the lower 8 and upper 12 reinforcements are textile reinforcements bonded with an epoxy resin to a core 14. These reinforcements are described in more detail below.
- Each reinforcement 8, 12 is a textile comprising on the one hand a layer of fabric 16 and secondly a layer 18 of rovings son. Layer of fabric 16 and the ply of threads 18 are connected by means of a binding thread 20. The layer of fabric 16 is intended to come either against the core 14 or against the metal reinforcement 13.
- the fabric layer 16 comprises warp threads 22 and threads weft 24.
- the chain son are for example made using fibers of glass and are silionne threads of 34 tex.
- the weft threads 24 are two-component and textured threads, obtained by simultaneous texturing of a roving glass yarn of 200 tex and a polyester thread of 110 tex. This gives a textured glass / polyester yarn 350 tex.
- FIG. 2 represents a weaving in which each weft thread 24 passes successively under a warp thread 22 then on a warp thread 22, etc.
- the chain threads 22 are preferably fairly spaced from each other. Their main function is to ensure cohesion between the weft yarns 24.
- the ply 18 of rovings son consists of rovings of glass of 1200 tex son arranged next to each other to form a ply with a density of 720 g / m 2 . These rovings son extend in the same direction as the warp son 22 of the fabric layer 16.
- the layer of fabric 16 and the sheet 18 of rovings are assembled by binding. This binding operation can be carried out at the same time time for weaving the fabric layer 16.
- the weft threads 24 perform the interface function during the bonding of the reinforcements 8, 12 on the core 14 and on the metal reinforcement 13. It contains for example 50% of polyester surface. It is estimated that the minimum polyester proportion to allow good adhesion is by 15% on the surface. The fact that the weft threads 24 are voluminized allows good adhesion of the fabric layer 16 on the core 14 and the metal reinforcement 13. In addition, this allows the fabric layer 16 to act as a reservoir for glue, for example epoxy resin.
- the rovings son of the ply 18 are arranged longitudinally in the ski 2.
- the weft threads 24 are then placed in the transverse direction.
- the angle between the rovings yarns of the ply 18 and the weft yarns 24 is not not necessarily a right angle. Another angle is possible, for example 60 or 120 °.
- Reinforcement fabrics of the prior art included three layers: a first layer of rovings son equivalent to ply 18 described above, a fabric whose weft threads are rovings threads for ensure good resistance and whose chain threads are threads to hold the weft threads in place, and a non-woven veil in polyester.
- the textile reinforcement described above has, for an identical mechanical resistance, a lower areal mass and a lower cost price. Less polyester is needed to make the reinforcement of a ski according to the invention.
- the production process is simplified. The cost reduction is also due to savings on raw materials, mainly polyester, but also on resin epoxy thanks to a lower glue reserve while remaining sufficient to ensure good bonding.
- the invention thus makes it possible to obtain a more resistant ski.
- the advantages of the reinforcement represented in the drawing described above make that the ski according to the invention is a lighter and more responsive ski.
- Another advantage of a ski according to the invention is that the reinforcements fibrous lower 8 and upper 12 are less hydrophilic than the reinforcements of the prior art comprising a nonwoven. There is therefore less risk than water gets inside the ski and comes, freezing, damaging this ski.
- the invention does not only apply to a ski but can also be applied to a monoski, snowboard, etc.
- the reinforcing textile has been described by way of example. He ... not does not necessarily have a layer of fabric. Bulky yarns used could be simply laid out in a tablecloth as well as the rovings glass described above.
- the reinforcing fibers can be glass fibers but other materials are possible. We can especially think of carbon fibers, aramid fibers (known under the brand name Kevlar), or other fibers known for their mechanical strength. He is even possible to use reinforcing fibers of a different nature in a same ski, even in the same voluminized thread. We could for example have a ski area in which the reinforcing fibers used would be fiberglass, another area where we would have fiberglass carbon and a third zone reinforced with aramid fibers. We can also have in the same yarn a mixture of fibers for example of glass fibers and carbon fibers.
- the reinforcement fabric described has two layers. Generally, for a ski, we actually look for a reinforcement in two directions. However, it would not go beyond the scope of the invention to using only a single layer of reinforcement. This layer would then include voluminized yarns made from fibers of polyester and reinforcing fibers. Similarly, we can also consider to use a reinforcement having more than two layers of reinforcing fibers.
