Claims (6)

  1. An apparatus for the production and closing of cartons (10) which can be filled in a filling station and closed during transport by a closing conveyor (21) by the adhesive bonding of folding flaps (11), in particular by means of externally applied adhesive strips (13), it being possible to monitor the cartons (10) with regard to the correct adhesive bonding of the folding flaps (11) and to feed correctly formed cartons (10) to a removal conveyor (22) at the end of the closing conveyor (21), characterized by the following features:
    a) the closing conveyor (21) is configured as an upright carton conveyor having at least one receptacle (23) for at least one carton (10),
    b) the receptacle (23), which is of an angular form in cross section and is mounted on an endless conveyor (37) of the closing conveyor (21) in such a way that it can tip, can be transported by the latter from a lower receiving position to a transfer station (33) formed at the upper end of the closing conveyor (21) and back to the receiving position,

    e) any defective cartons (43), lying on the horizontally directed, larger carrying leg (25) of the receptacle (23), can be conveyed past the removal conveyor (22) - and downward along a removal path,
    f) the defective carton (43) can be lifted from the receptacle (23) in the region of a removal station (44).
  2. The apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the endless conveyor for the receptacle (23) is configured as a toothed belt (23), it being possible for the receptacle (23) to be moved back and forth between the lower receiving position and the upper transfer station (33).
  3.
