  2. A fixing device according to claim 1, in which at least one said tip (2; 12a, 12b; 32a, 32b) comprises an anchoring part (3a, 3b; 13a, 13b; 33a, 33b) forming a harpoon.
  3. A fixing device according to claim 1 or claim 2, further comprising at least one driving stopper (10a, 10b; 19, 20; 39, 40) located between the said tip (2; 12a, 12b; 32a 32b) and the said wire (A, F) housing structure (6, 15, 35a, 35b).
  4. A fixing device according to any of claims 1 to 3, in which at least one wire housing structure is an open structure (6, 35a) forming a removable lifting wire (A) housing slot (7, 37).
  5. A fixing device according to any of claims 1 to 4, in which at least one housing structure is a structure (15, 35b) which is closed by the wooden post surface to hold a staking wire (F) in a fixed position.
  6. A fixing device according to any of the preceding claims, made in a single operation by cutting, shaping, pressing or stamping a steel sheet the thickness of which is approximately constant.
  7. A fixing device according to claim 6, characterised in that the said sheet of metal forming the device is a thin sheet of metal or a ribbon.
  8. A fixing device according to any of the preceding claims, made from material which is corrosion resistant, for example, hot galvanised steel or stainless steel.
