Abstract
Description
Speicherumgebung verursacht. It is known that an open water reservoir is used in particular during construction work in order to have a certain amount of water available, for example for cleaning the equipment soiled with mortar, for scooping up smaller amounts of water and for wetting tools or materials. Most of the time, this water storage tank is set up near the concrete mixing machine and filled with water up to the edge via a hose.
This arrangement is chosen because during the preparation of the concrete mix smaller amounts of water are often scooped out of the reservoir with a bucket and poured into the concrete mixing machine in order to obtain the desired consistency of the concrete mix. This storage tank is also used for cleaning the equipment soiled with mortar and for soaking materials so that they can soak up water.
An empty metal oil drum standing and without a lid is used almost without exception as storage for such purposes. During the cold season, this barrel with the bottom is placed on stones or building blocks so that a fire can be lit under the barrel so that the ice formed on the water surface during the night melts.
It is often cumbersome on construction sites where the floor is often very uneven to set up this water storage so that it is level, stable and slightly raised from the floor. It can be noticed again and again that, especially if water is often removed from this storage tank by several workers, the water hose end is placed in the water storage tank and the water runs continuously so that everyone who wants to take water can always find the storage tank full to the brim. This results in a considerable waste of water, puddles of water form in the vicinity of the water reservoir, which often also assume larger dimensions because the soil is compacted by the slurrying of cement and / or lime and the infiltration of the overflowing water is prevented. If the memory has to be emptied, it is tilted, which may require the effort of two people and cause the storage environment to be flooded.
The invention has for its object a water storage device at the beginning to create the type mentioned, which is also in the case of uneven or irregular Floor safe and stable, with a horizontal upper edge and more or can be set up less from the ground, which one Prevents water wastage, enables easy emptying and as Water distributor is used for other facilities at the construction site.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a container which preferably has a cylindrical shape and is preferably provided on the outer wall in the base region with three adjustable feet which are independently adjustable in height. In the upper area of the container according to the invention, a known float-operated filling valve for the water supply is provided on the inside. This filling device is covered by a mudguard so that it cannot be damaged. A water distributor is preferably provided in the area of the feed line to the filling valve, on the outside of the container, and has several water connections, each provided with a shut-off valve. A separate shut-off valve is preferably provided for the supply line to the water distributor and to the filling valve.
In the area of the container bottom, possibly in a slightly higher position, an outlet valve is provided for emptying the container. Due to the slightly elevated position of this valve, it is not blocked by the sand and / or mortar that has settled on the floor.
Some handles attached to the outside of the container make it easier to transport and set up the container, these handles can be articulated on the container wall or replaced by rings or brackets that allow the insertion of rods or shovel handles to facilitate transport.
In the bottom area, at least three height-adjustable feet are attached to the outer wall of the container so that unevenness in the floor can be compensated for and that the bottom of the container is slightly raised from the ground so that a fire can be lit under the container.
The invention is then explained in more detail with reference to a water reservoir according to the invention which is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing, the drawing serving purely explanatory, non-limiting purpose.
