Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Bereitstellung einer kontinuierlichen Erdgasversorgung in einem Rohrleitungsnetz (1) wird Erdgas in Tageszeiten ohne sehr hohe Erdgasentnahme aus dem Rohrleitungsnetz entnommen (2) und verflüssigt mit Hilfe eines niedrig siedenden flüssigen Gases (9,11), insbesondere Stickstoff, Sauerstoff oder Argon. Das so verflüssigte Erdgas wird einem Vorratsbehälter (14) zugeführt und in Tageszeiten einer sehr hohen Erdgasentnahme wird das verflüssigte Erdgas aus dem Vorratsbehälter entnommen und dem Rohrleitungsnetz (15,17,19) wieder zugeführt. Das aus der Rohrleitung entnommene Erdgas wird gereinigt und mit einer Verflüssigungsvorrichtung verflüssigt, welche durch die Verwendung tiefkalter Gase eine sehr hohe Kondensationsleistung auf geringem Raum und zu geringen Investitionskosten darstellt.
