Ein weiterer Vorteil dieser Anordnung besteht darin, daß im Nachblock durch Walzen mit reduzierter Abnahme in den letzten Gerüsten dieses Blocks eine Toleranzverbesserung erreichbar ist. Allerdings kann mit diesen Anordnungen der Walzgerüste nicht den unterschiedlichen Kühlanforderungen Rechnung getragen werden, die z.B. das thermo-mechanische Walzen erfordert. dargestellten Zwischengerüststraße in der Walzlinie W1 ein Fertigblock 2 und ein
Nachblock 3 mit geringem Abstand d angeordnet. Hinter dem Nachblock 3 sind in
der gleichen Walzlinie W1 Kühlstrecken 4 und hinter diesen die Drahtsammeleinrichtung
5 vorgesehen. Zwischen Fertigblock 2 und Nachblock 3 befindet sich die
Walzlinienwechselweiche 6, die (vgl. auch Fig. 2 und 3) eine geradlinig verlaufende
Drahtdurchführung 6a und zwei über Kreuz verlaufende Drahtdurchführungen
6b und 6c aufweist. Die Walzlinienwechselweiche 6 ist, geführt in einer Führung 7,
hier mit Hilfe eines Schubaggregats 8 in Richtung des Doppelpfeils D wahlweise in
zwei Positionen verschiebbar. In der einen Verschiebeposition befindet sich die
Drahtdurchführung 6a mit ihrer Eingangsöffnung und ihrer Ausgangsöffnung in der
Walzlinie W1. In der anderen Verschiebeposition befinden sich die Eingangsöffnung
EÖb der Zweig-Drahtdurchführung 6b und die Ausgangsöffnung AÖc der
anderen Zweig-Drahtdurchführung 6c in der Walzlinie W1. Die Ausgangsöffnung
AÖb der einen der Zweig-Drahtdurchführungen 6c führt, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt,
in eine zweite Walzlinie, die Umführungswalzlinie W2, in der Kühlstrecken 9 angeordnet
sind. Diese Umführungs-Walzlinie W2 wird mittels einer Drahtumführung 10
und einem Schlingentisch 11 über die Eingangsöffnung EÖc durch die Zweig-Drahtdurchführung
