Abstract

Bei einer beidseitig gesockelten Entladungslampe und Lampen-Fassung, weist erfindungsgemäß mindestens einer der Anschlußstifte (5,6) im Bereich mindestens einer vorbestimmten Kodierstelle, in Einsteckrichtung (14) gesehen, eine Verjüngung (10,11,12) seiner lateralen Stiftbreite mit - in Richtung der Kolben-Längsachse gesehen - vorgegebener Verjüngungslänge und - in der Richtung senkrecht dazu gesehen - vorgegebener lateralen Restbreite, auf, weiters ist mindestens eines der Aufnahmeteile (2,3) mit einem Kodierelement (18,28) verschlossen, das im Bereich der Kodierstelle einen in Einsteckrichtung (14) offenen und in Richtung der Kolben-Längsachse (8) verlaufenden Kodierspalt (21,22,30) aufweist, der mit der Verjüngung (10,11,12) des Anschlußstiftes (5,6) korrespondiert, derart, daß seine Spaltlänge kürzer ist als die Verjüngungslänge, und daß er eine minimale Spaltweite aufweist, die auf einen Wert im Bereich zwischen der lateralen Stiftbreite und der Restbreite eingestellt ist.
