Description

The invention relates to a closing edge fuse according to the preamble of claim 1.

A closing edge safety device is described in FR 21 35 922 A1. With this arrangement are made of soft Material existing hose balls arranged, preferably consist of steel and have a diameter, which is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the soft one Hose, while during the filling of the balls in the Hose the hose is stretched elastically. Still in this elongated state are the two mouths of the hose sealed with a plug to which the contact leads connect. The plugs produce in connection with the tensioned Hose within the tensioned hose required preload with which the balls are in contact with each other.

The balls are subjected to a local deformation pressure apart from each other, the power is cut off and on Signal generated.

The known arrangement has not been used in practice, because the balls don't center in the soft tube, but about the generated preload by the Dodge hose, move against each other, so that there is no straight ball chain in the final installation state. The Balls can cover the outer surface of the hose deform so that difficulties in installing the hose exist, but the non-centered balls may also prevent the necessary when the local deformation pressure occurs Signaling.

In dieser Literaturstelle wird auch vorgeschlagen, daß zusätzlich die Kontaktelemente von einer Expanderschnur durchzogen sein können.WO / 97 38 199 describes a closing edge safety device in which one of the elastic tubes Adapted shape of the contact elements, the contact elements each individually accommodating, elastic contact element bed is worked out, the stationary with respect to the hose and on the pressurized side of the hose is arranged, so that the contact elements are stationary on the one hand in the contact element bed are stored and on the other hand the bending radius in the Central axis of the contact chain formed by the contact elements is greater than the bending radius of the actual contact element bed. This reference also suggests that in addition the contact elements of an expander cord can be pulled through.

This arrangement is complex because the contact elements are shaped of course means a formal effort and it must be ensured that the arrangement of the contact element beds and the size of the contact elements to each other is adapted that the contact elements in the idle state touch.

A describes a closing edge safety device in which the contact elements each from a contact roll exist, that is, are cylindrical, the Contact rollers at the front ends creating contact points to each other issue. There is an expander cord inside the contact rolls arranged that the individual contact roles with their Force contact points towards each other in the axial direction. Between insulating rings are arranged on the individual contact rollers, those with radially aligned to the insulating ring axis, in the interior of the insulating rings projecting wedge surfaces between the individual contact roles are arranged.

The manufacturing effort for this closing edge fuse is quite high.

The invention has for its object a closing edge fuse to create, to ensure that the used contact elements, preferably balls or ball-like Parts that are correctly aligned, but still on react the lowest deformation pressure signaling. Furthermore, the manufacturing effort should be kept low become.

This object of the invention is achieved by Doctrine of claim 1 solved.

Advantageous refinements are in the actual subclaims explained.

While all of the prior art so far Security strips made considerable effort for this that the contact elements, whether they are spheres, Rollers or whatever are trained on their Contact points are pressed together, is now according to the invention made the proposal that contacting the individual contact elements with each other only by Gravity, d. H. then by the weight of the contact elements can be done if the safety bar is aligned vertically is. This will of course make contacting all the better the elements reached each other, the heavier the elements are, but in any case the elements have a weight that is sufficient if the safety bar is installed vertically to be in contact with each other.

According to claim 2, the contact elements are partially spherical Balls formed, which have circumferential contact surfaces. In this way, better contact formation is achieved, ensures a larger contact area, so that a smaller Resistance is caused and the centering of the contact elements is better and easier.

According to a proposal of the invention, the contact elements designed as simple balls.

Furthermore, it is provided according to the invention that the contact element can be constructed so that a conductive Sleeve is inserted around which a plastic jacket is injection molded becomes. The sleeve has plane-parallel surfaces.

In Fig. 1, a closing edge safety device is shown for a better understanding of the invention, which consists of a profile element P , which can be connected to the closing edge to be secured. This profile element P has, on its side facing the edge to be secured, a receiving space in which a safety strip S is arranged, the design and configuration of which the invention relates to.

Der Schlauch 3 kann auch aus einem Moosgummi gebildet werden, das mit einem entsprechenden Bezug als Oberfläche ausgerüstet ist.2, 1 is a section of a Security bar referred to, which is formed by a hose 3 which is made of a flexible, flexible material, the Z. B. may have a Shore hardness of 40 Shore. The tube can have a soft core and a somewhat harder or more abrasion-resistant surface and is preferably made from a thermoplastic elastomer. The tube 3 can also be formed from a foam rubber with a corresponding reference as a surface is equipped.

Contact elements 2 are arranged inside the hose 3, those in the illustrated embodiment according to FIG. 2 and 3 are formed from balls 2a. The in the end areas the closing edge fuse 1 required electrical For reasons of clarity, connection contacts are in the Drawing not shown and belong to the prior art.

Fig. 3 shows that under the action of a local deformation pressure the wall of the pressure facing Hose 3 causes balls 2a to pull apart, whereby the quiescent current is interrupted and thereby the desired signal is generated.

If the safety bar is vertical, i.e. H. so laid vertically, for example on door edges or the like, it is possible to provide the required Bias leading to the contacting of the contact elements leads together, only by the weight of the contact elements bring about. Such an arrangement would be the same Security like the arrangements previously known in the prior art to a much cheaper way of manufacturing lead, but then the inner diameter of the Hose should be larger than the outside diameter of the Contact elements.

Die Hülse 8 weist dabei planparallele Flächen 6 und 7 auf, die die Kontaktflächen 6 und 7 bilden.4 is the contact element formed as a partial spherical element 2b that around a central axis X - X has circumferential contact surfaces 6 and 7, which on the flattened side walls 12 and 14 are formed. By this arrangement will have a larger contact area than at a normal ball created so that the electrical resistance is less and the centering is improved. It will overall better contact formation. The contact element 2b can be constructed so that a conductive Sleeve 8 is provided, around which a jacket 9 is injection molded from plastic is. The sleeve 8 has plane-parallel surfaces 6 and 7 on, which form the contact surfaces 6 and 7.

The contact element 2b shown in FIG. 4 can of course also be made entirely of conductive material.
