Abstract

The invention concerns a device for preventing people from inadvertently falling into the water or onto the dry base of a swimming pool thereby avoiding the risk of drowning or traumas. It consists of a cold water conduit (2) supplying jets (1) along the edge controlled by push buttons (3) placed beneath an alley (5) made of slabs slightly wobbly by their pliable joints (6), forming a discreet trellis parallel to the pool. The user (7) exerting a pressure on one of the slabs (5) which in turn presses on the button (3) activates the jet (1).
