Abgeschirmte elektrische Steckverbindung für Leiterplatten, insbesondere oberflächenmontierte Steckverbinder flacher Bauart, bestehend aus einem Steckverbinder (1), in dem elektrische Anschlußelemente isoliert angeordnet sind, die zur Kontaktierung von Stiftkontakten eines komplementären Steckverbinders (2) vorgesehen sind, wobei mindestens eine Seite der Steckverbinder (1, 2) mit einem Abschirmblech abgedeckt ist, welches Anschlußenden zur Verbindung mit Leiterbahnen einer Leiterplatte aufweist, und wobei die elektrische Kontaktierung des Abschirmbleches (7) des Steckverbinders (1) mit dem Abschirmblech (8) des komplementären Steckverbinders (2) mittels Kontaktelementen erfolgt, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Kontaktelemente auf der gleichen Ebene angeordnet sind wie die Abschirmbleche (7, 8) und als ringförmige Kontaktzungen (9, 10) ausgeführt sind, die aus der vorderen Abschlußkante der Abschirmbleche (7, 8) hervorragen, und wobei beim Zusammenfügen der Steckverbindung, die Berührung über die seitlichen Kontaktflächen (11, 12) erfolgt.

that the contact elements are arranged on the same plane as the shielding plates (7, 8) and are designed as ring-shaped contact tongues (9, 10) which protrude from the front end edge of the shielding plates (7, 8), and wherein when the plug connection is assembled, the contact takes place via the lateral contact surfaces (11, 12).

daß der Isolierkörper (3) des Steckverbinders (1) mit Befestigungshaken (24) versehen ist, unter die das Abschirmblech (7) eingeschoben ist.

Abgeschirmte elektrische Steckverbindung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Abschirmblech (7) mit federnden Rastlaschen (13) versehen ist, die in Vertiefungen (14) des Steckverbinders (1) eingreifen.

Abgeschirmte elektrische Steckverbindung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Abschirmblech (7) einen abgewinkelten Abschlußteil (26) aufweist, und daß der Isolierkörper (3) des Steckverbinders (1) eine Rinne (25) aufweist, wobei das Abschlußteil (26) in der Rinne (25) mittels eingelassener Rastelemente verrastet, und wobei Kontaktlaschen (15) auf Leiterbahnen (16) einer Leiterplatte (5) gedrückt werden.
