Ein wesentlicher, sich auf eine mehr oder weniger geordnete Ausschleusung der Artikel auswirkender Umstand liegt in der Art der Freigabe der Auslaßöffnung des Schragens durch die schwertartig ausgebildeten Stützleisten des Behälterträgers.

Eine ruckfreie bzw. fließende Überführungsbewegung wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Betätigungsmittel in einer eine anfänglich überwiegende Vertikalabsenkung und eine anschließende überwiegende Spreizbewegung überlagernden Weise an der Artikelstütze angreifend ausgebildet sind.
Eine Ablösung einzelner Artikel von der Unterseite der Behälterfüllung bzw. eine kompakte Blockabsenkung des Behälterinhalts ist dadurch gewährleistet, daß die Betätigungsmittel die Artikelstütze zu Beginn der Vertikalabsenkung weniger beschleunigend und zum Ende der Vertikalabsenkung beim Übergang zur überwiegend horizontalen Spreizbewegung stärker beschleunigend ausgebildet sind.

Eine einfache, betriebssichere Ausgestaltung der Betätigungsmittel besteht darin, daß der Steuerkurvenantrieb eine um eine ortsfeste Achse rotierend antreibbare Kurvenscheibe und eine an einer entlang einer Linearführung verschiebbaren, die Schwenkhebel tragenden Traverse gelagerte Steuerrolle aufweist.
Eine wenig Aufwand erfordernde Öffnungskraft wird nach einem weiteren Vorschlag dadurch erzielt, daß an den Schwenkhebeln die Stützleisten in Spreizrichtung vorspannende Zugfedern angreifen.
Um ein Nachfedern bzw. Zurückfedern der Stützleisten in deren Offenstellung zu verhindern, wird weiterhin vorgeschlagen, daß die Schwenkhebel gelenkig mit in der Spreizstellung gestreckt zueinander verlaufenden Sperrhebeln verbunden sind, deren gemeinsames zentrales Verbindungsgelenk mit einem in einem verschiebbaren Schlitten der Linearführung geführten Laufwagen verbunden ist.

Bedingt durch den exzentrischen Kurvenverlauf der Kurvenscheibe 22 erfolgt anschließend eine beschleunigte Bewegung der Traverse 12 mit den Schwenkhebeln 11, deren Vertikalabsenkung durch die abwärts und auswärts drehenden Lenkerhebel 16 somit beschleunigt in eine überwiegend horizontale Spreizbewegung bzw. Auswärtsschwenkung gemäß Figur 4 übergeht. Auf diese Weise wird mehr oder weniger abrupt der Kontakt der Stützleisten 4 zu den Filterzigaretten 2 unterbrochen, welche unter Aufrechterhaltung ihrer kompakten Blockformation kontrolliert in ein darunter befindliches Magazin 29 freigegeben werden.
Dieser Bewegungsablauf der Schwenkhebel 11 zwingt dabei gleichzeitig die Sperrhebel 24 unter Relativverschiebung ihres Laufwagens 27 im Schlitten 14 gemäß Figur 4 in eine gestreckte Sperrstellung, wodurch ein den Überführungsvorgang störendes Nachschwingen der Schwenkhebel 11 unterbunden wird.
The emptying device works as follows:
After the container carrier 1 containing the tray 3 has been tilted upside down into the emptying position shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, in which the filter cigarettes 2 according to FIG. 3 rest on the supporting strips 4 of the closure system, the cam disc 22 is passed through on both sides of the container carrier 1 the swivel drive 9 is set in rotation, so that - due to the curve of the cam plate 22 - the crossbar 12 with the articulated swivel levers 11, supported by the pretensioned tension springs 18, initially moves vertically downward at a relatively low speed, primarily via the contacting control roller 23. In this way, the entire cigarette block lying on the support strips 4 is lowered, the support strips 4 being moved out of the tray 3 or being released from the walls thereof.
Due to the eccentric curve shape of the cam disc 22, there is then an accelerated movement of the crossbar 12 with the pivot levers 11, the vertical lowering of which is accelerated by the downward and outward-rotating control arm levers 16 and then a predominantly horizontal spreading movement or outward pivoting according to FIG. 4. In this way, the contact of the support strips 4 to the filter cigarettes 2 is more or less abruptly interrupted, which are released into a magazine 29 located below, while maintaining their compact block formation.
This sequence of movements of the pivot levers 11 at the same time forces the locking levers 24 into a stretched locking position with relative displacement of their carriage 27 in the carriage 14 according to FIG. 4, as a result of which a swinging of the pivot levers 11, which disturbs the transfer process, is prevented.

Claims (8)

  1. Apparatus for emptying containers filled with rod-shaped articles of the tobacco-processing industry into a magazine, having a container holder which accommodates at least one container open at the upper narrow side and the front broad side and tilts it by 180° into an emptying position above the magazine and which has an article support movable relative to the open narrow side of the container, characterised in that the article support, consisting of two support strips (4) movable in opposite directions, is provided with actuating means (6) which impart to the support strips an opening movement composed of a vertical lowering movement and a lateral, substantially horizontal spreading movement.
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterised in that the actuating means are designed to act on the article support (4) in a manner superimposing an initially predominant vertical lowering and a subsequent predominant spreading movement.
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the actuating means (6) are designed to accelerate the article support (4) less at the beginning of the vertical lowering and more at the end of the vertical lowering upon the transition to the predominantly horizontal spreading movement.
  4. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterised in that the actuating means (6) comprise a control cam drive (22, 23) which acts on the article support (4), and link levers (16) which engage on pivoting levers (11), carrying the support strips (4), of the article support and are pivotable about positionally fixed bearing points (17).
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterised in that the control cam drive has a cam disc (22) which is rotationally drivable about a positionally fixed axis (21), and a control roller (23) which is mounted on a crossmember (12) displaceable along a linear guide (13) and carrying the pivoting levers (11).
  6. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterised in that tension springs (18) which prestress the support strips (4) in the spreading direction engage on the pivoting levers (11).
  7. Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterised in that the pivoting levers (11) are hingedly connected to blocking levers (24) which run in a straight manner with respect to each other in the spread position and the common central connecting hinge (26) of which is connected to a travelling carriage (27) guided in a displaceable slide (14) of the linear guide (13).
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterised in that the pivoting levers (11) carrying the support strips (4) extend substantially over the height of a container (3) and are provided with engagement points, following one another from top to bottom in the emptying position, for control roller (23), link levers (16), tension springs (18) and blocking levers (24).
