Claims (9)

  1. Dishwasher provided with a ballast device comprising a ballast body (2) fixed to the structure of the dishwasher to serve as an anti-tilt counter weight, said dishwasher comprising in a known manner a tub (1) situated above a base (4) in which a certain number of components and connections are disposed, said base (4) having a rear opening (40) allowing access to said components and connections, said ballast body (2) being provided and fixed so as to serve as a closure piece for said rear opening (40) and said components including a motor-driven pump (6), said dishwasher being characterised in that said motor-driven pump (6) is suspended from said ballast body (2) in order to benefit from the weight and stiffness of this ballast body as an anchoring body for absorbing vibrations .
  2. Dishwasher according to claim 1, characterised in that holding means (3, 20; 80) are provided for removably fixing the ballast body to the base (4), so that this ballast body serves as an access hatch.
  3. Dishwasher according to claim 2, characterised in that said holding means comprises at least one screw (3) passing through the ballast body.
  4. Dishwasher according to claim 3, characterised in that each screw is housed in a substantially oblong slot (20) extending through the ballast body from its bottom part.
  5. Dishwasher according to one of claims 3 or 4, characterised in that the motor-driven pump (6) is suspended from a bracket (5) that is fixed to the ballast body (2) and to the base (4) by said screw (3) for fixing the ballast body.
  6. Dishwasher according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that said ballast body (2) is obtained by casting a material in the required shape in order to ensure the closure of said opening (40).
  7. Dishwasher according to claim 6, characterised in that said ballast body is made from concrete.
  8. Dishwasher according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that said ballast body (2) has a shape such that it comes to fit vertically in a corresponding housing in the base (4) in the rear opening of said base and is held in position by said tub (1).
  9. Dishwasher according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that said ballast body (2) and said rear opening in the base (4) have complementary shapes such that the ballast body is supported by the base and held in position by the return (80) of at least one of the lateral walls (7, 8) of the dishwasher.
