Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer et réguler le flux de matière pour des brames coulées en continu, notamment des brames d'acier, par suivi et optimisation de la température sur leur trajectoire de transport entre la machine de coulée continue et le laminoir. La température connue de la phase liquide en sortie de lingotière de la machine de coulée continue et les paramètres physiques de la brame sont utilisés comme points de départ pour déterminer la quantité de chaleur et le profil de température de cette brame. Le mélange intime par convection de la quantité de chaleur contenue dans la brame et la déperdition de chaleur, variable en fonction du temps, de la brame, laquelle se refroidit de manière non homogène, en faveur du milieu ambiant respectif, sont calculés à l'aide d'un modèle physico-mathématique. Le résultat de ce calcul est utilisé, éventuellement conjointement avec la température superficielle de la brame, en vue de réguler le flux de matière dans un système de suivi existant de la brame.
