Claims (16)

  1. Verkaufsautomat (1) zum Herstellen und Ausgeben von Büchern auf Wunsch und in Echtzeit, aufweisend:
    eine Computer-Datenspeicherungsvorrichtung (31) zum Speichern einer Vielzahl von Buchtiteln, von denen jeder die Text- und Bildinformation, die Buchdeckelinformation und weitere Identifikationsdaten umfaßt;
    ein Bedienungspulse (2), das ein Display (21) umfaßt, um die Identifikationsinformation der in der Datenspeicherungsvorrichtung gespeicherten Buchtitel wiederzugeben, und das die Benutzer-Schnittstelle umfaßt, um einem Benutzer zu ermöglichen, einen der gespeicherten Buchtitel zum Drucken auszuwählen; und
    einen Buchherstellungsapparat, wobei der Buchherstellungsapparat aufweist:
    einen Druckapparat zum Drucken von Text- und Bildinformation und Buchdeckelinformation, die dem ausgewählten Buchtitel zugeordnet sind; und
    einen Bindeapparat (12) zum Binden des aus dem Druckapparat ausgegebenen Materials in Buchform für den ausgewählten Buchtitel.
  2. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei der Buchherstellungsapparat aufweist:
    eine Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) zum Drucken der Text- und Bildinformation des ausgewählten Buchtitels auf einer Vielzahl von Seiten;
    eine Buchdeckel-Druckmaschine (10) zum Drucken der Buchdeckelinformation des ausgewählten Buchtitels auf dem Material des vorderen und hinteren Buchdeckels;
    einen Kollator (12) zum Kollationieren der gedruckten Seiten und des vorderen und hinteren Buchdeckels des von dem Benutzer ausgewählten Buchs;
    einen Binder (12) zum Binden der von dem Kollator kollationierten gedruckten Seiten und Buchdeckel; und
    einen Controller (3, 4) zum Herausnehmen eines von dem Benutzer ausgewählten Buchtitels aus der Speicherungsvorrichtung (31), und zum Steuern des zu druckenden Textes und der zu druckenden Bilder, der zu druckenden Buchdeckel-Information, des Kollators, und des Binders, um dadurch das von dem Benutzer ausgewählte Buch zu drucken und zu binden.
  3. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 2, wobei die Bilddruckmaschine (6) eine Schwarz/Weiß-Druckmaschine ist, und die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschine eine Farbdruckmaschine ist.
  4. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 2, 3,
       wobei das Bedienungspult (2) eine von dem Benutzer zu benutzende Zahlungsvorrichtung umfaßt, um das ausgewählte Buch zu bezahlen, und eine Ausgabevorrichtung (13) umfaßt, um das ausgewählte Buch auszugeben, nachdem es von der Text/Bild- und der Buchdeckel-Druckmaschine gedruckt wurde und von dem Binder gebunden wurde.
  5. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 4,
       wobei die Zahlungsvorrichtung in dem Bedienungspult (2) einen Kreditkartenschlitz zum Einschieben einer Kreditkarte durch den Benutzer umfaßt; und/oder
       wobei das Bedienungspult weiterhin einen Treiberschlitz (23) umfaßt zum Einschieben eines externen Datenträgers, der eine Buchtitelinformation enthält, die anstelle eines in der Datenspeicherungsvorrichtung gespeicherten Buchtitels durch den Benutzer gedruckt und gebunden werden soll; und/oder
       wobei das Bedienungspult (2) weiterhin mindestens einen Display-Bildschirm (29) umfaßt, um mit irgendeinem der Buchtitel verknüpfte Information wiederzugeben.
  6. Verkaufsautomat gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5,
       wobei das Bedienungspult (2), die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6), die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschine (10), der Kollator und Binder (12) und die Bedienungscontroller alle in inem gemeinsamen Gehäuse untergebracht sind; und/oder
       wobei die Datenspeicherungsvorrichtung (31) auch in dem gemeinsamen Gehäuse untergebracht ist.
  7. Verkaufsautomat gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 2-6,
       wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine eine Vielzahl von Blättern und einen Blattzuführungs-Lademechanismus umfaßt; und/oder
       wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) umfaßt: einen Halter für mindestens eine Rolle einer Papierbahn (51), einen Zuführer, um die Papierbahn der Text- und Bilddruckmaschine zuzuführen und einen Cutter (85), um die Papierbahn in Blätter von Seitengröße zu schneiden, wie von dem Controller (Δ, 3) gesteuert wird.
  8. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 7,
       wobei der Cutter (85) stromabwärts von der Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) so angeordnet ist, daß die Papierbahn in Blätter zerschnitten wird, nachdem die Text- und Bildinformation von der Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) gedruckt wurde; oder
       wobei der Cutter (85) stromaufwärts von der Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) so angeordnet ist, daß die Papierbahn in Blätter zerschnitten wind, bevor die Text- und Bildinformation von der Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) gedruckt wird; und
       wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) eine Vielzahl von Haltern (50a-50d) umfaßt, um eine Vielzahl von Papierbahn-Rollen (51) zu halten, wobei jeder Halter einen Sensor (52) umfaßt, um die Papierbahn-Menge auf dem jeweiligen Halter zu fühlen, und um den Controller zu betätigen, um automatisch nach einem anderen Halter umzuschalten, wenn sich die Papierbahn in dem jeweiligen Halter dem Ende nähert; und/oder
       wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine weiterhin umfaßt: eine Halterführung für jeden Rollenhalter, um die Papierbahn ab dem Rollenhalter zu führen;
       eine Ausgangsführung;
       und eine schaltbare Führung zwischen allen Halterführungen und der Ausgangsführung, wobei die Führung durch den Controller geschaltet werden kann, um eine der Halterführungen nach der Ausgangsführung auszurichten.
  9. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 8,
       wobei die Halter und Halterführungen bogenförmig über der schaltbaren Führung angeordnet sind, und die schaltbare Führung schwenkbar ist, um eine der Halterführungen in selektiver Weise nach der Ausgangsführung auszurichten; und/oder
       wobei die Halterführungen zwei verschiedene Längen haben, und die Führungen einer Länge und die Führungen der anderen Länge abwechselnd angeordnet sind, um den von den Haltern und ihren jeweiligen Papierbahnrollen eingenommenen Platz zu minimieren.
  10. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 9, wobei jede der Führungen ein festes Führungselement (64) und ein schwenkbares Führungselement (65) umfaßt, und jedes der Führungselemente Klemmrollen umfaßt, um in die Papierbahn einzugreifen, wenn sie hindurchgeführt wird.
  11. Verkaufsautomat gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 2-10, wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine umfaßt:
    ein erstes Fördersystem, um eine Papierbahn aufzunehmen, wobei eine Seite nach oben gerichtet ist;
    eine erste Druckeinheit (75a), die über dem ersten Fördersystem angeordnet ist, um auf der einen Seite der Papierbahn zu drucken;
    ein zweites Fördersystem, um die Papierbahn von dem ersten Fördersystem aufzunehmen, wobei die entegegengesetzte Seite der Papierbahn nach oben gerichtet ist;
    und eine zweite Druckeinheit (75b), die üble dem zweiten Fördersystem angeordnet ist, um auf der nach oben gerichteten, entgegengesetzten Seite der Papierbahn zu drucken.
  12. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 11,
       wobei die erste und die zweite Druckeinheit (75a, 75b) seitenbreite Tintenstrahldruckkopf-Anordnungen sind; und/oder
       wobei die Text- und Bilddruckmaschine (6) weiterhin stromabwärts von der ersten und der zweiten Fördereinhein einen Trockner (76a, 76b) umfaßt; und/oder
       wobei die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschine umfaßt:
    einen Behälter (91), um einen Stapel vorher zugeschnittener Buchdeckel aufzunehmen;
    eine Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit zum Drucken der Buchdeckelinformation;
    und einen oberen Zuführer (11), um die Buchdeckel von der oberen Seite des Stapels in dem Behälten der Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit nacheinander zuzuführen;
       wobei die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit durch den Controller gesteuert wind, um die Information des vorderen Buchdeckels für einen ausgewählten Buchtitel auf einem Buchdeckel zu drucken, und die Information des hinteren Buchdeckels für den ausgewählten Buchtitel auf dem unmittelbar darauf folgenden Buchdeckel zu drucken.
  13. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 12,
       wobei die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit eine Vielzahl von Druckköpfen (102A-102D) umfaßt, um in Farbe zu drucken;
       wobei die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit eine Vielzahl von Druckköpfen umfaßt, wobei jeder der Druckköpfe seine jeweilige Farbe von einem gefärbten Transferband auf den Buchdeckel druckt; oder
       wobei die Buchdeckel-Druckmaschineneinheit eine Vielzahl von Druckköpfen umfaßt, wobei jeder der Druckköpfe seine jeweilige Farbe nach einem thermischen Transferprozeß von einem Farbtransferband auf den Buchdeckel druckt.
  14. Verkaufsautomat gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 2 und 6, wobei der Kollator umfaßt:
    einen Kollatorrahmen
    einen Seitenzuführer, um die gedruckten Seiten mit Text- und Bildinformation dem Kollatorrahmen zuzuführen, und die Seiten darin zu stapeln, wobei mit der nach unten gerichteten, ersten Seite begonnen wird;
    und einen Buchdeckelzuführer, um die Buchdeckel dem Kollatorrahmen zuzuführen, wobei mit dem vorderen Buchdeckel begonnen wird, wobei der Buchdeckelzuführer einen Umdreher umfaßt, um den vorderen Buchdeckel umzudrehen, wenn er dem Kollatorrahmen zugeführt wird.
  15. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 14, wobei der Kollator weiterhin umfaßt:
    eine Gabel, die in einer geneigten Position in den Kollektorrahmen eingesetzt werden kann, wobei der Seitenzuführer die gedruckten Text/Bild-Seiten zuführt und auf der Gabel stapelt, wobei mit der nach unten gerichteten, ersten Seite begonnen wird;
       wobei ein Zwischenraum zwischen der Gabel und dem Kollatorrahmen vorgesehen ist, um eine Zufübrung des vorderen Buchdeckels in der umgedrehten Position nach dem unteren Ende des Stapels, und des hinteren Buchdeckels nach dem oberen Ende des Stapels zu ermöglichen;
       und eine von dem Controller betätigte Klemmplatte (133), um die zwei Buchdeckel und den dazwischen angeordneten Stapel Seiten festzuklemmen, zur Vorbereitung der Bindung durch den Binder.
  16. Verkaufsautomat gemäß Anspruch 2, 6 und 14,
       wobei der Binder einen Kleberapplikator (140) umfaßt, um Kleber auf den Rand der durch den Kollator kollationierten, gedruckten Seiten und Buchdeckel aufzubringen; und/oder
       wobei der Binder einen Bandapplikator umfaßt, um Klebeband auf einen Rand der durch den Kollator kollationierten, gedruckten Seiten und Buchdeckel aufzubringen.
