Description

The present invention aims at a particular shelter for vehicles.

One of the aims of the invention is to realize a shelter intended, more particularly, for the protection of a motor vehicle against bad weather.

Various shelters are known such as in document CH 684280 A, but these are complex, expensive and their implementation requires intervention specialists.

One of the aims of the invention is to realize a shelter of a very simple design that can be delivered in "kit" and which requires no special knowledge for mounting.

The shelter according to the invention is of the type comprising at least two bases intended to be placed on the ground and supporting, each, a pole, supporting poles a frame in which extends a blanket, said shelter characterized in that the frame is formed of profiles rectangular section with two long sides and two small sides, the big sides presenting, each, a groove and a groove, while the small side, intended to form a lower side, has a groove, each post, at its free end, comprising, articulated, a connecting piece intended to fit into the groove the lower side, said connecting piece being secured to a wing of an angle fastener whose other wing is pierced with holes receiving screws cooperating with nuts housed in the corresponding groove from one of the long sides of the corresponding profile of the frame, on each pole being articulated one of the ends of a strut the other end of which is solidary of a bar pierced with a hole crossed by a screw screwing into a nut housed in the groove corresponding of one of the long sides of a profile of framework, while the cover is constituted by a sheet of plastic material having corresponding dimensions to that of the frame and whose sides are bordered by a hem in which are inserted rushes, the hems with the rods being slipped into the throats of the frame profiles.

Thanks to this arrangement, a shelter is made a very affordable cost price that can quickly to be mounted. So, the poles can be arranged in all positions along the frame.

Preferably, the frame has two sections curved longitudinal.

So that the shelter can be delivered disassembled and occupies a small footprint, the curved profiles are formed of several sections assembled end to end by L-shaped connecting pieces with one branch is bolted to the groove of one of the large sides of two longitudinal profiles placed end-to-end and the other leg being bolted to the groove the small lower side of said two sections.

According to a particular constructive characteristic, the profiles constituting the frame are assembled by brackets fixed by bolting to the grooves of two long sides of two profiles forming an angle between them.

Following a constructive detail, the squares have a truncated angle pierced with a hole for the passage a screw screwing into a threaded hole in a room wedge in which are housed the ends two adjacent sections.

The shelter may have length turnbuckles Adjustable inserted between two opposing profiles to ensure a good tension of the cover.

One can foresee, a curtain supported by trolleys inserted into the grooves of the long sides of profiles.

The shelter shown in the figures comprises a pair of bases 1 of rectangular general shape including the short sides are extended by 2 pierced legs of a hole 3 so as to be fixed on the ground (see Figures 1 and 2).

Each base is pierced with four holes 4 intended to receive bolts for fastening a base 6 from which two decks 7 pierced of holes 8.

Between the plates 7 inserts the end lower of a post 10 whose lower end is pierced with a series of holes 11. The holes 8 and 11 are intended to be traversed by bolts 14 in order to to secure the pole. One can, on the one hand, adjust the height of the pole by selecting the holes 8 and 11 and, secondly, adjust the inclination of said post.

In the vicinity of its free end, the pole 10 comprises, laterally, a clevis 15 intended to receive one end of a strut 16, said upper end of the pole 10 being completed by a yoke 17 which the wings have a central hole 18 and two holes Lateral 19.

The yoke 17 receives a tail 20 of a piece junction 21 fixed by a bolt 22 through the hole 18 and a hole 24 of the tail 20.

The joining piece 21 is pierced with two holes 26 for receiving screws 27 passing through holes 28 of a fixing piece 29 in the shape of a square and whose branch is pierced with holes 30 for to be crossed by screws 31.

The posts 10 are intended to support a frame designated by its entirety by reference 35 comprising two bent rails 36 and two sleepers 37 formed by identical profiles.

The profiles are rectangular section and have two small sides 40 and 41 and two large sides 42 and 43, the short sides being reinforced by a sail 44 and the long sides by a sail 45 (see figure 6).

In the middle part of the big side 42 is formed a groove 46, and in the corresponding part of the long side 43, a groove 47, while said large sides 42 and 43, in the vicinity of the short side 40, are respectively provided with gorges 48 and 49. Finally, the small side 40 is provided with a groove 50.

The joining piece 21 is intended to fit in a groove 50, while the screws 31 are intended to cooperate with nuts 32 inserted in the grooves. These nuts can be constituted by a pierced plate three threaded holes.

The sleepers 37 and the longitudinal members 6 are assembled at their end by a corner piece 53 and a square 54 (see Figures 3, 4 and 5).

Corner piece 53 includes a bottom 53b and two cheeks 53a whose distance corresponds to the height profiles, the bottom being provided with a threaded blind hole 55.

The bracket 54 has two wings 54a and 54b pierced holes respectively 57 and 58 and a truncated angle 60 pierced with a hole 61.

In the groove 46 of the crossbar 37 is inserted a plate 63 with tapped holes 64 for to receive screws 65 crossing the holes 58 of the wing 54b, while in the corresponding groove 46 of the spar 36 is housed a plate 63 pierced with tapped holes 64 for receiving screws 65 through the holes 57 of the wing 54a.

The hole 61 is intended to be crossed by a screw 62 screwing into the threaded blind hole 55. Thus, we realize a perfectly rigid frame.

The strut 16, at its free end, is pierced with a hole 56 which receives a through bolt 66 a hole 67 of a bar 68 which includes a second hole 69 for receiving a bolt 70 whose nut 72 is inserted into the groove 47 of the profile 36 constituting the spar (see Figure 7).

In order to strengthen the assembly, it is planned a spacer 75 which connects the yokes 17 and which are bolted to the holes 19 thereof.

The shelter is completed by a blanket 80 formed by a sheet of shaped plastic rectangular whose dimensions correspond to those of the frame and in the four sides of which are formed hems 81 in which are inserted rods in plastic 82.

The groove 48 of a spar 36 receives a hem 81 and the corresponding ring 82, while the groove 49 of the second spar 36 receives the other hem longitudinal and the rod 82 corresponding.

One of the profiles 37 constituting a cross in his groove 48 receives a hem 81 with the rush and the other profiled 37 in his corresponding throat is lined with the other hem 81 with the bangle 82.

In order to ensure a good tension of the cover, 90 tensioners are provided consisting of elements tubular having one end having a support member 92, a stud 91 fitting into a groove 46 of a spar 36, while the other end is tapped 93 in which is screwed a threaded rod 94 integral of a support member 95 with a nipple 96 inserting into the groove 47 of the other spar. It is planned a cons nut 97 engaged on the threaded rod to block this last (see Figure 8).

It is conceivable that the shelter, according to the invention, is very easy to assemble and can therefore to be delivered in "kit" and to be assembled on the spot by a person not expert.

The assembly of the shelter, according to the invention, is very simple and very fast.

We fix on two bases 1 bases 6 and poles 10. The frame 35 is made separately and fixed this one by the pieces 21, 29 to the posts 10 in same time that we put in place the struts 16 which attached to the longitudinal members 36 by the bars 68 and the screws 70 and nuts 72.

Given the mounting of the frame on the ends poles and strut 16, we can at will modify the inclination of the frame until, possibly, tilt it to the ground.

Also, we can change the position of the free end of the posts along the side members 36 and simultaneously the strut 16.

In FIG. 1, the fixed frame is shown by its longitudinal members 36 at the ends of the posts, but considering that the sleepers 37 are made with the same sections as the longitudinal members 36, it is also possible to provide that the posts 10 support the frame by the small ones side of it.

It is still possible to ride for each spar 36, two posts 10 facing each other.

Finally, we can make a double shelter in adding a pole and making an extra frame 35 adjacent to the first (see Figure 9). In that case, we remove the corner piece 53 and we realize the second frame with an additional square 54, two sleepers 37 and only one additional spar 36, one of the spars 36 being common. We can, of course, add a number of sections, to cover a surface important.

As can be seen in Figures 10 and 11, the sections constituting the longitudinal members 36 may be formed of sections 36a fixed end to end by parts assembly 100 L-shaped with a branch 101 pierced two holes in which are engaged screws 103 one of which is screwed into a nut housed in the groove in the vicinity of one end of a section 36a and the other in the groove 46 of a section 36a presented at the end of first.

The other branch 102 cooperates with the small lower side 41 of the profile and also has two holes for the passage of screws 105 for screwing in nuts 106 one of which is housed in the groove 50 of one profile and the other in the groove 50 of the other profile.

We can, if we wish, predict, on a side or all sides of the frame 35, a curtain 110 supported by carriages 111 inserted into the grooves 46 and 47, that is to say, those located outside the frame (see Figures 4 and 5). Trolleys 111 must of course be engaged in the grooves before setting up corner pieces 53 which form, for these trolleys, stops opposing their withdrawal grooves.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments that have just been described and represented. We can make many changes without departing from the scope of the invention.

Claims (7)

1. Shelter, in particular for vehicles, including at least two bases (1) intended to be posed on the ground and supporting, each one, a post (10), the posts supporting a framework (55) in which extends a cover (80) characterized in that the framework is made of profiled with rectangular section including/understanding two large sides (42, 43) and two small sides (40, 41), the large sides presenting, each one, a groove (46, 47) and a throat (48, 49), while the small side intended to form a lower side presents a groove (50), each post, at its loose lead, comprising, articulated, a part of junction (21) intended to fit in the groove (50) on the small lower side (41), the aforementioned part of junction (21) being interdependent of a wing of an attaching part at right angles (29) whose other wing is drilled by holes (30) receiving screws (31) cooperating with nuts placed in the corresponding groove (46, 47) of the one on the large sides of the shaped correspondent of the framework, on each post (10) being articulated one of the ends of a brace (16) of which the other end is interdependent of by a screw (70) being screwed in a nut placed in the corresponding groove (47) of one on the large sides (43) of a section of the framework, while the cover (80) is consisted of a plastic material presenting dimensions corresponding to the framework dimensions (35) and of which the sides are bordered by an hem (81) in which snap rings (82) are inserted, hems with the snap rings being slipped into the throats of profiled framework.
2. Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim 1, characterized in that the framework (35) presents two curved longitudinal sections (36).

Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim 2, characterized in that the curved sections (36) are made of several sections (3ã) assembled end to end by parts of assembly (100) L-shaped whose branch is fixed by bolting at the groove of one on the large sides of two longitudinal sections placed end to end and the other connects being fixed by bolting at the groove on the small lower side of the aforesaid two shaped.
4. Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim I, characterized in that the sections constituting the framework are assembled by squares (54) fixed by bolting at the grooves (46) on the two large sides of two shaped forming an angle between them.

Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim 4, characterized in that the squares (54) present a bored angle truncated (60) of a hole (61) for the passage of a screw (62) being screwed in a tapped hole of a comer fitting (53) in which come to place the ends of two adjacent sections (36, 37).
6. Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises of the tensioners (90) adjustable length inserted between two shaped opposite.
7. Shelter, in particular for vehicles, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a curtain (110) supported by carriages (111) inserted in the grooves (46) on the large sides of shaped (36, 37).
