Description

- im Hinblick auf mechanische Belastungen durch das Geschoß ist die Chromschicht gegenüber bekannten Waffenrohren unempfindlicher und daher besonders vorteilhaft auch in Maschinenwaffen einsetzbar;
- die Standzeit des Waffenrohres erhöht sich gegenüber entsprechenden Waffenrohren mit bekannter Standardverchromung.

Claims (4)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines innenseitig mit einer Hartchromschicht (2) versehenen Waffenrohres (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß nach dem galvanischen Abscheiden der Hartchromschicht (2) auf der inneren Oberfläche des Waffenrohres (1) die Hartchromschicht (2) mindestens einmal über ihre Rekristallisationstemperatur erwärmt wird, derart, daß sich nach der Wärmebehandlung eine gleichmäßige Rekristallisation der gesamten Hartchromschicht (2) ergibt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dauer der Erwärmung der Hartchromschicht (2) bei einem autofrettierten Waffenrohr derart gewählt wird, daß der Grundwerkstoff des Waffenrohres nicht über 300 °C erwärmt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Erwärmung der Hartchromschicht (2) mit Hilfe eines Lasers (4) oder einer Hochenergielampe vorgenommen wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Erwärmung der Hartchromschicht (2) bei einem nicht autofrettierten Waffenrohr in einem Ofen erfolgt, wobei die Anlaßtemperatur oberhalb der benötigten Rekristallisationstemperatur gewählt wird.
