Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sealing mat according to the Preamble of claim 1, to a method for producing a such a sealing mat.
  • a sealing mat as well as a Manufacturing processes of this type are known from DE-U-9319 360.
  • the sealing mats offered on the market different design features consist of an approximately 13 mm thick for the roller belt Use foam strips, which are up to 99 percent is permeable to air.
  • the middle area and the edge areas of the Foam strips are thermally to a thickness of about 1 mm compressed, the middle area remains flat and the edge areas be wavy profiled. Because of their extremely low weight with a large area at the same time when laying the known Foam sealing mat on the roof always the risk that the Sealing mat is carried away by the wind.
  • a second variant consists of an approximately 1.5 for the roller belt mm thick strips of soft, smooth thermoplastic material with high specific weight (high-pressure polyethylene) which has two rows of fingertip-like incisions that run parallel to its central area.
  • a third variant is an extremely thin one for the roller belt and light, needle-perforated plastic fleece with low rigidity use that on both sides with top Metal strips made of aluminum foil and at its center area with a reinforcement strip on the underside made of stiffer, thicker Plastic fleece is reinforced.
  • the well-known roller conveyor is after Glue the metal strips and the reinforcement strip over his entire width pleated by profile rollers.
  • Profile rolls with both superimposed nonwovens in the middle area Provide punch holes, the distance in the longitudinal direction of the tape about half the pitch of the pleating corresponds.
  • One on top of the pleated mid-area glued-on non-woven drawstring covers the punch holes and forms together with the punch holes and the Folding the pleated and reinforced plastic fleece in the middle a variety of cross ventilation channels.
  • the edge areas in the known sealing mat and the center area of the flat, smooth rubber strap with one thin metal strips, for example aluminum foil, coated the can be permanently deformed with little effort. Subsequently only the metal strips with the attached areas of the Rubber band pleated using profile rollers.
  • the metal strips are of such a strength that the elastic restoring forces of pleated rubber band areas are insufficient to accommodate the pleated Demoulding metal strips, i.e. pulling them smooth again.
  • On the Pleated metal strips in the middle area become a smooth drawstring glued to the shape stability of the pleated during assembly Center area and thus its constant length among all To ensure conditions.
  • the one-piece Basic body with its side strips and end strips consists of elastic foam plastic, foam rubber or plastic tangled fibers.
  • the water-impermeable coating can also be made using latex emulsion paint be replaced.
  • the base body is at its ends provided with a self-adhesive layer on the underside. As a result of Use of an elastic material for the base body occur the restoring forces. These restoring forces can develop in the course over time the adhesive forces of the self-adhesive layer, in particular, when the adhesive forces decrease due to weather conditions. Kick this one If you notice after several years, the cover strip loses its Sealing function and rain and snow get from the roof into the Roof space.
  • the object of the invention is that Long-term stability and the sealing effect of a sealing mat to improve the type mentioned at the beginning.
  • a method for producing the sealing mat according to the invention is specified in the independent claim 10.
  • the invention is based on a radical departure from edge lamellae or corrugated or pleated edge areas, as in the beginning recognized sealing mats available according to the prior art are. Furthermore, the invention dispenses with the use of heavy, expensive expanded metal inserts or even lead inserts that are harmful to health in the edge areas of waterproofing mats that originally with the advent of air-permeable ridge sealing technology were used.
  • the invention rather goes from Basic knowledge that the optimal material for sticking a Sealing mat on the adjacent roof tiles and at the same time perfect sealing of joints in between a relative wide edge strip is made of adhesive rubber material. Such one Rubber strips can be easily and almost deformed.
  • Adhesive rubber strips are neither air permeable nor UV-resistant, they always have an undesirably dark color and also stick on their top, where no gluing should take place.
  • the invention has however, of these obstacles to the use of relatively broad ones Do not let the edge strips of adhesive rubber material deter you.
  • the right one Basic knowledge was added to the idea of making the edge strips from self-adhesive butyl, Acrylate or bitumen rubber with a woven material in the form of a knitted fabric or mesh composite to be coated, which has a high elasticity in the longitudinal direction the sealing mat and a low elasticity in the transverse direction of the Has sealing mat, so that the fabric material essentially only in Is stretchable in the longitudinal direction.
  • edge strips of adhesive rubber material with the one on it Fabric material effortlessly and perfectly to the shape and course of the adjacent Adjust roof tiles with all joints locked.
  • the fabric material prevents the underlying, adhesive rubber material from sticking together Edge strips with the ridge or ridge stones and at the same time protects that underlying rubber material of the edge strips against UV radiation. Furthermore lets dye the fabric material in the desired color of the roof tiles, so that the dark color of the underlying rubber material of the edge strips remains invisible.
  • A serves for the mechanical connection of the two edge strips Roller belt, preferably made of perforated or needled (i.e., air permeable) Rubber or plastic film or tissue soaked with rubber, on the Edge zones the adhesive edge strips are glued.
  • the fabric material can not only over the edge strips, but also extend over the roller belt, with a connection between Roller belt and fabric material above it only in the middle area of the Roller belt is required. In this middle area you can see from above Metal strips, e.g. made of aluminum foil, glued to the location of the Stabilize and fix the sealing mat on the ridge or ridge.
  • the preferred fabric material is a commercially available polyester knit used.
  • the supporting structure 21 of the roof has one on a ridge holder in this area 22 adjusted ridge batten 11 and roof battens 13 running parallel to the ridge batten 11, which for hanging the fastening lugs 12a from pan-shaped (arched) Roof tiles 12 (also called “roof tiles") are used.
  • the ridge 11 carries arched ridge stones 15 which overlap at their longitudinal ends.
  • the ridge stones 15 are held by steel clips 14, which in turn on Ridge beams 11 are attached and the ridge stone 15 at a defined distance from the Hold ridge beam 11.
  • the height position of the ridge stone 15 is determined by means of the ridge holder 22 adjusted so that the two lower edges of the ridge stone 15 on the apex of domed roofing panels 12 do not sit, but only this apex touch.
  • the sealing mat 10 is with its central region 3 (Fig. 1) placed on the ridge 11 and plastically deformable with their two Edge areas 2 against the surfaces of the adjacent roofing tiles 12 molded on both halves of the pitched roof and to these surfaces with the help glued by edge strips 6 made of adhesive rubber material.
  • Firststeins 15 can be on the windward side of the pitched roof incoming air (arrow 16 in FIG. 4) into the transverse channel 18 below the ridge stone 15 and flow in above the sealing mat 10 and on the lee side of the Exit the sloping roof again (arrow 17).
  • the air flow 16/17 in the transverse duct 18 sucks Air (arrow 20) from the roof space 19 through the air-permeable sealing mat 10 and takes this sucked air (arrows 20) with it to the lee side of the Sloping roofs, which ensures effective roof ventilation.
  • the sealing mat 10 comprises an elastic, water-repellent as a supporting element and air-permeable roller belt 1 made of calendered rubber sheet or with a Rubber impregnated or coated fabric tape.
  • an air-permeable plastic film can also be provided.
  • a rubber material is preferably ethylene-propylene tar rubber (APTK) with high specific Density used, although butyl rubber can also be used.
  • the Roller belt 1 preferably has a thickness in the range between 0.2 mm and 2.0 mm and is needle-perforated over its entire surface or with punch holes (for example with a hole diameter in the range between 2 mm and 5 mm) provided to ensure good air permeability.
  • the width of the Roller belt 1 is for example 30 cm.
  • the roller belt 1 is at its edge zones with relatively wide edge strips 6 adhesive, plastically deformable butyl rubber, acrylate rubber or Bitumen rubber connected, preferably by gluing under pressure and Room temperature.
  • the width of each edge strip 6 is 8 cm, for example.
  • the sticky bottom of each edge strip 6 is protected by peel-off films 7, which at the laying of the sealing mat 10 on the roof can be removed.
  • the sticky The top of each edge strip 6 is with a fabric material 5 in the form of a Knitted fabric or stitch composite coated, which has a high elasticity in Longitudinal direction of the sealing mat 10 and a low elasticity in the transverse direction the sealing mat 10.
  • the tissue material 5 essentially only in the longitudinal direction (i.e.
  • the edge strips 6 made of adhesive rubber material can be used handle the fabric 5 on it easily (without the hands by the fitter with adhesive rubber material) and at the same time with plastic deformation to the shape and the course of the adjacent roofing panels 12 (Fig. 2) with complete sealing of all joints to adjust.
  • the color of the fabric material 5 can be chosen arbitrarily, so that for each color the roofing panels 12 the appropriate color of the visible from the outside Tissue material 5 can be selected.
  • the fabric material 5 extends in the second shown in FIG. 3 Embodiment of the sealing mat 10 of the invention not only on the Edge strips 6, but also via the roller belt 1.
  • In the central area 3 can be in both embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 3 from above forth a metal strip 4, e.g. made of aluminum foil, glued to the location of the Stabilize and fix the sealing mat 10 on the ridge batten 11 (FIG. 2).
  • the width of the metal strip 4 is, for example, 4 cm.
  • the edge strips 6 glued from self-adhesive rubber material, which are each covered on their underside with a peel-off film 7. At least the top of the edge strips 6 made of rubber material with the above described tissue material 5 coated (Fig. 1) The tissue material 5 can however, both over the edge strip 6 and over the one in between Roller belt 1 are attached (Fig. 3). In case of covering the roller belt 1 with tissue material 5 (Fig. 3), the tissue material 5 in the central region 3 of the Sealing mat 10 connected to the underlying roller belt 1. Then the fabric material 5 or (if the fabric material 5 only Edge strip 6 covered; Fig. 1) the roller belt 1 in the central area 3 of the Sealing mat 10 of the metal strips 4, for example made of aluminum foil glued on, for example by means of thermal lamination.
