Claims (5)

  1. Verfahren zum Reformleren einer vollsiedenden Kohlenwasserstoffbeschickung, um die Ausbeuten an P-Xylol und Benzol zu erhöhen, umfassend:
    (a) Trennen der Kohlenwasserstoffbeschickung in eine C5-Fraktion, eine C8-C7-Fraktion und eine C8+-Fraktion, wobei die C6-C7-Fraktion weniger als 5 Vol.% C8+-Kohlenwasserstoff aufweist und wobei die C8+-Fraktion weniger als 10 Vol.% C7- Kohlenwasserstoff aufweist;
    (b) die C6-C7-Fraktion bei erhöhten Temperaturen einer katalytischen Aromatisierung in eine erste Reformieranlage in Gegenwart von Wasserstoff und unter Verwendung eines nichtsauren Katalysators unterziehen, der mindestens ein Metall der Gruppe VIII aufweist sowie einen nichtsauren Zeolith-Träger, um einen ersten Reformatstrom zu erzeugen; sowie
    (c) die C8-Fraktion bei erhöhten Temperaturen einer katalytischen Aromatisierung in eine zweite Reformieranlage in Gegenwart von Wasserstoff und unter Verwendung eines nichtsauren Katalysators unterzlehen, der mindestens ein Metall der Gruppe VIII aufweist sowie einen Metalloxid-Träger, um einen zweiten Reformatstrom zu erzeugen;
       in welchem Verfahren weniger als 20 Gewichtsprozent der Gesamtmenge der in der ersten und zweiten Reformieranlage erzeugten C8-Aromaten Ethylbenzol sind und worin mehr als 20 Gewichtsprozent der Gesamtmenge der in der ersten und zweiten Reformieranlage erzeugten Xylole p-Xylole sind.
  2. Verfahren zum Reformieren nach Anspruch 1, bei welchem der nichtsaure Katalysator Platin auf einem nichtsauren Zeolith L. aufweist.
  3. Verfahren zum Reformieren nach Anspruch 2, bei welchem der saure Katalysator nicht vorsulfidiert ist.
  4. Verfahren zum Reformieren nach Anspruch 3, bei welchem der saure Katalysator Platin und Zinn auf einem Aluminiumoxid-Träger aufweist.
  5. Verfahren zum Reformieren nach Anspruch 3, welches Verfahren ferner die Schritte umfasst:
    (d) Vereinigen des ersten und zweiten Reformatstroms, um einen vereinigten Reformatstrom zu erzeugen;
    (e) Trennen des Reformatstroms in eine leichte Fraktion und eine schwere Fraktion; und
    (f) Rückführen mindestens eines Teils der leichten Fraktion entweder in die Kohlenwasserstoff-Besckickung oder in mindestens eine der Reformieranlagen.
