Wie bereits aus den vorstehenden Ausführungen hervorgeht, ist die vorliegende Erfindung nicht auf das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel beschränkt, sondern umfaßt alle im Sinne der Erfindung gleichwirkenden Mittel und Maßnahmen. Beispielsweise wurde bei der Beschreibung des Klemmenkastens 13 schon angedeutet, daß es möglich ist, die lösbaren Verbindungen zwischen den einzelnen Bauteilen auf andere als die jeweils dargestellte Weise herzustellen (z.B. Rastverbindung anstelle der Schraubverbindung). Der Rahmen 9 des Trägerteils 5 muß in seiner Grundgestalt nicht kreisförmig ausgebildet sein. Des weiteren muß die Teilungsebene zwischen den Schalenteilen 7a, 7b der Gehäusebaugruppe nicht in der dargestellten Weise verlaufen. Durch die beschriebenen Abflachungen 20 ist es z.B. leicht möglich, daß die Teilungsebene außermittig verläuft. Durch diese vorteilhafte verdeckte Leitungsführung ist auch hier keine Isolation der Anschlußleitungen mittels eines zusätzlichen Schlauches nötig. Außerdem zeigt Fig. 1, daß sich im Bereich der Ausblasöffnung 2 zur Unterdrückung von Ausblasgeräuschen eine bogenförmig angeordnete Zunge 27 befindet, die den Saugraum vom Druckraum trennt. Claims (19)

  1. Housing for a blower, the blower having at least one axial air-inlet opening (1) and one radial air-outlet opening (2) and comprising a housing sub-assembly, and an impeller sub-assembly having an electric motor (3) and an impeller (4), the housing sub-assembly comprising at least one carrier part (5) which is arranged in the region of the axial air-inlet opening (1) and which is used to receive and act as a mounting for a supporting member (6) of the impeller sub-assembly, characterised in that the housing sub-assembly has at least two shell parts (7a, 7b) which can be releasably connected together and which split the air-inlet opening (1), the carrier part (5) being held between the shell-parts (7a, 7b) in the assembled state.
  2. Housing according to claim 1, characterised in that the electric motor (3) is in form of an external-rotor motor, the supporting member (6) being in the form of an elongated support shaft which is mounted in the carrier part (5) at at least one of its ends and on which, on the one hand a stator (3a) of the electric motor (3) is seated and on the other hand an external rotor is mounted to rotate.
  3. Housing according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that, in the assembled state, the carrier part (5) is held in the shell parts (7a, 7b) with a clamping action in a groove (22) which borders the air-inlet opening (1).
  4. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the shell parts (7a, 7b) can be releasably connected together by clips (8).
  5. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the carrier part (5) has a strutted frame (9) of which the basic configuration is, in particular, annular, the strutting being formed by carrier arms (10, 10a), of which there are preferably three, which are connected together in a star shape.
  6. Housing having a carrier part (5) to receive and act as a mounting for a supporting member (6) of an impeller sub-assembly of a blower, particularly according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the carrier part (5) has at least one carrier arm (10a) connected to a/the frame (9), which carrier arm (10a) is in the form of a channel (19) open on one side, and in particular in the form of a strut formed to a U-shape, to receive connecting leads for an/the electric motor (3), the frame (9) being pierced by the channel (19) in such a way that the connecting leads (12) can be run out of the carrier part (5) above an outer surface of the frame (9).
  7. Housing according to any of claims 2 to 6, characterised in that an end of the support shaft which is mounted in the carrier part (5) has an internal guiding passage (11) to receive connecting leads (12) for the electric motor (3).
  8. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the carrier part (5) has an external contour which is not symmetrical in rotation, and particularly an external contour which has two diametrically opposed flats (20), and the shell parts (7a, 7b) which are connected together have, in the region of the air-inlet opening (1), an internal contour which is matched to this external contour.
  9. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the carrier part (5) has at least one peripherally arranged assembly lug (21) and at least one of the shell parts (7a, 7b) has a receptacle for this assembly lug.
  10. Housing according to claim 9, characterised in that the receptacle (23) for the assembly lug (21) is in the form of a pocket-like depression in the groove (22) bordering the air-inlet opening (1).
  11. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that at least one of the shell parts (7a, 7b) has at least one locating pin (24) and the other shell part (7b, 7a) has at least one corresponding locating opening intended to receive the locating pin (24).
  12. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the housing sub-assembly comprises a terminal box (13), which can be releasably fastened to one of the shell parts (7a, 7b), to receive a connecting terminal strip (14), the connecting terminal strip (14) being used to connect an (external) electrical connecting cable to (internal) connecting leads (12) belonging to the electric motor (3).
  13. Housing according to claim 12, characterised in that the terminal box (13) has at least one assembly lug (16) and one of the shell parts (7a, 7b) has at least one receiving pocket (17) for this assembly lug (16).
  14. Housing according to claim 12 or 13, characterised in that the connecting leads (12) of the electric motor (3) are run between the terminal box (13) and the carrier part (5) in a piece of cable ducting (26).
  15. Housing according to any of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the supporting member (6) of the impeller sub-assembly is connected to the carrier part (5) via a one-piece elastic member (18), the elastic member (18) comprising three sections (18a, 18b, 18c) situated one behind the other, namely a carrier-connecting section (18a) which is connected to be secure against torsion to the carrier part (5), a motor-connecting section (18b) which is connected to be secure against torsion to the supporting member (6), and an elastically deformable intermediate section (18c) which is arranged between the two connecting sections (18a, 18b).
  16. Housing according to claim 15, characterised in that the elastic member (18) is connected to the supporting member (6) and/or to the carrier part (5) by plug-in connections which are positively interengaged in the direction of rotation of the electric motor (3) and which thus prevent any relative rotation.
  17. Blower having a housing according to any of claims 12 to 16, characterised by a pre-assembled sub-assembly comprising the electric motor (3) having the supporting shaft which runs out of the electric motor (3) and which is partly, starting from one end of the shaft, in the form of a hollow shaft, the internal guiding passage (11) in the supporting shaft receiving the connecting leads (12) for the electric motor (3) which are connected at one end to the connecting terminal strip (14) situated in the terminal box (14).
  18. Blower according to claim 17 , characterised in that the pre-assembled sub-assembly also comprises elastic members (18) which are fitted at both ends of the supporting shaft to provide a mounting for the electric motor (3) which gives insulation against vibration, the elastic member (18) which is fixed in place at the cabled end having the connecting leads (12) passing through it.
  19. Blower having a housing according to any of claims 1 to 16 or according to claim 17 or 18, characterised in that it is in the form of a double-entry centrifugal blower having two axial air-inlet openings (1) and two carrier parts (5) in the region of these air-inlet openings (1).
