Ein Flachbildschirm 1 in TFT-Display-Ausführung zur Ausgabe und Abfrage von Informationen

in einem Aufbaugehäuse 2 derart angeordnet, daß der eigentliche Anzeige- und Bedienbereich
des Displays 1 durch ein Fenster nutzbar wird, das in eine C-förmige Abdeckung 4 geschnitten
ist. Diese C-förmige Abdeckung 4 aus stabilem Blech oder Kunststoff übergreift mit ihren
einwärts gebogenen Seitenrändern ein nicht näher dargestelltes, flaches, aber stabiles Chassis,
das an eine Wand geschraubt ist und das Display 1 und die dazugehörige Ansteuerelektronik
haltert. Die beiden noch offenen Seiten des Aufbaugehäuses 2 werden durch Blenden 3, 5
abgedeckt, die mit Sicherungsschrauben 6 an das Chassis oder die Wand geschraubt werden.
Um auch die elektrischen Verbindungen zu einer vorzugsweise in der Wagendecke untergebrachten
Rechnereinheit 7 auf der Wand verlegen zu können, wird eine lange Blende 5 verwendet,
die die Strecke zur Wagendecke verkleidet. Die flache Blende 3 schließt das Aufbaugehäuse
2 unten ab, kann aber auch den oberen Abschluß besorgen, sofern die elektrischen
Leitungen in oder hinter der Wand verlegt werden. Die Konturen der Blenden 3, 5 entsprechen
genau der Kontur der C-förmigen Abdeckung 4, weshalb sich ein insgesamt einheitliches,
gefälliges Erscheinungsbild ergibt. Die Tiefe des Aufbaugehäuses 2 wird in vorteilhafter
Weise im wesentlichen von der Dicke des Displays 1 bestimmt und kann deshalb bis unter
25 mm verringert werden. Hierdurch werden Reisende auch dann nicht in ihrer Bewegungsfreiheit
behindert, wenn die das Aufbaugehäuse 2 auf der freien WC-Rückwand befestigt ist,
wozu ebenfalls Sicherungsschrauben dienen, die ein Entfernen der Anzeige- und Bedieneinheit
durch Unbefugte erheblich erschweren. Auch bildet der Gesamtaufbau keine exponierten
Angriffspunkte für ein leichtes Abhebeln oder Zerstören.A
