Abstract

Es wird eine Methode zur Messung von Störungseffekten auf einer Glasfaserübertragungsstrecke, die aufgrund von Polarisationsmodendispersion hervorgerufen werden, vorgeschlagen, wobei eine optische Lichtquelle ein seitenbandmoduliertes Signal in die Übertragungsstrecke einspeist, das Signal übertragen wird und an einem kohärenten Empfänger das Signal bei einer Frequenz, die der Modulationsfrequenz des seitenbandmodulierten Signals entspricht, ausgewertet wird.
