Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for folding a head flap a blank for a hinged-lid pack for cigarettes with a folding station, Funding for the job-oriented positioning of successive cuts in the folding station and folding means for folding and applying the head flap to the Inner surface of a lid front wall adjoining the head flap along a fold line.
The cigarette boxes of interest here are hard-cup packs, which are also generally referred to as hinged-lid packs. They consist of blanks from a cardboard box. The blanks are folded around the contents of the pack in the form of a cigarette block encased in an inner blank made of tinfoil or another film to form a box part in a region of a rear wall of the box part. The hinged lid pack thus has a hinged lid with which it can be closed again after opening. The lower edge of the front wall of the hinged lid is reinforced by an inwardly folded head flap to prevent damage to the lid due to repeated opening. The head flap can be fixed on the inside of the front cover by gluing. However, it can also be mechanically held in its position on the lid by the width of the front wall of the lid, slightly overhanging edge areas which are provided on both sides of the head flap. Such Head strap holds itself by friction or clamping between the folded side tabs of the lid walls without the need for additional gluing. DE 32 18 639 A1 discloses such a hinged lid pack with an oversized head tab on the lid front wall.
In US-

Figures 1 to 3 show different views in a schematic representation

14, inneren Deckelseitenlappen 16, Innenseitenlappen 17, inneren Bodenwandlappen

ausgestanzten Trennungsschnitten versehen. The box blank 2 is composed of a in its central

Figur 5).The sequence of the folding process can be seen in FIGS. 2 to 5. The
With the

The blank 2 with the
In Figures 8 and 9, the
