Abstract

Zur Durchmischung eines Gasstromes sind in dem Kanal (2) ein oder mehrere flächenförmige Einbauelemente (1) angeordnet, die gegenüber der Strömungsrichtung des Gasstromes unter einem spitzen Winkel angestellt sind. Das Einbauelement (1) ist als wirbelerzeugende Fläche mit frei umströmten, gegen die Strömung gerichteten Vorderkanten ausgebildet, deren Verlauf sowohl eine in Strömungsrichtung des Gasstromes als auch eine quer hierzu verlaufende Komponente aufweist. Das Einbauelement (1) weist die Grundform eines Trapezes mit zwei parallelen ungleich langen Kanten auf, dessen kurze Kante in der Einbauposition der Strömungsrichtung des Gasstromes entgegen weist, und dessen lange Kante mit einer Pfeilung versehen ist und in Strömungsrichtung weist. Das Einbauelement (1) ist entlang von drei geraden Linien (3) derart abgekantet, daß zur Anströmung des Gasstromes hin beidseitig einer konkaven Wölbung (4) zwei konvexe Wölbungen (5) in Form eines ω (Omega) oder eines W gebildet sind.

To mix a gas stream, one or more sheet-like built-in elements (1) are arranged in the channel (2), which are set at an acute angle with respect to the direction of flow of the gas stream. The installation element (1) is designed as a vortex-generating surface with freely flowing front edges directed against the flow, the course of which has both a component in the flow direction of the gas flow and a component running transversely thereto. The installation element (1) has the basic shape of a trapezoid with two parallel edges of unequal length, the short edge of which, in the installed position, faces the direction of flow of the gas stream, and the long edge of which is provided with an arrow and points in the direction of flow. The installation element (1) is bent along three straight lines (3) in such a way that two convex curvatures (5) in the form of an ω (omega) or a w are formed on both sides of a concave curvature (4) for the flow of the gas flow.
