Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sealing seal for the occultation of an object, such as a switch, a reading cell, a control unit, connection or other. It also relates to a counter comprising such a cover.
- sealing devices are used to ensure the integrity of a product, for example a measuring device such that an electricity meter see for example GB-A-2 301 192, which is possibly entrusted to a user likely to try to disassemble it to falsify it.
- electricity meter see for example GB-A-2 301 192
- it is current to connect a screw and its support by a sealing wire closed by an authentication seal which is destroyed by removing the screw.
- meters are programmable and their programming can be carried out via an optical reading cell or magnet placed behind a window located on the cover of the meter. It is also possible via a connection. So for these counters, it is necessary to ensure the integrity of the means of counting, but also to guarantee that their programming has not been modified or falsified.
- the present invention makes it possible to conceal access to the means of programming, optical or magnetic cell, or other of a counting and generally blocking access to an object, such as that a control member, switch, connection or other, while ensuring the integrity of this occultation by sealing.
- the means of passage of the part obturation comprise a stud crossed by a passage and comprising a slit cutting the passage.
- the means for passing the closure part comprise a recess capable of receiving the nipple and in this recess a projection having a notch, said projection being able to penetrate the slot of the nipple.
- the closure part comprises a guide slot incorporating the notch of the projection.
- this may include two lateral recesses.
- each hole emerging from the base is extended by an aperture having a width less than the largest width of the hole and to the extension of the shoulder of the shoulder pawn.
- two through holes are provided in the base of on either side of the opening.
- the base can be made of metal.
- the invention also relates to a counter comprising such a cover.
- Figure 1 schematically shows an exploded bottom view a sealing seal 1 according to the invention.
- the cover has a circular outline but can take other contours, square or rectangular or other, depending on the environment to which it must adapt.
- the cover 1 consists of a base 10, a closure piece 20, and a closing part 30.
- the base 10 is intended to be fixed to the element which comprises or protects the object to be obscured. So in the embodiment shown and well suited to the concealment of an optical read / write cell for reading the data from a counter and programming this last, two openings 11, 12 are provided to allow the fixing of base 10 on the cell window (not shown) using screws or by stamping on pins provided for this purpose on the window.
- base 10 can be molded directly with the window rather than providing a patch.
- the base 10 is therefore a plate thin circular pierced with a main opening 13 intended to allow access to the object (not shown) obscured by the cover 1 when the latter is in place.
- the base 10 also comprises on either side of the opening 13, two through holes 14, 15 each extended by two holes 16a, 16b and 17a, 17b.
- the closure piece 20 is intended to cooperate with the base 10. It has a lower face 21 and an upper face visible in the figure 2.
- the lower face 21 supports two shouldered pins 26, 27 arranged with so that they can be inserted simultaneously into the holes opening 14, 15 from base 10, then by rotating the part shutter 20, to slide along the openings 16a, 17b respectively or 16b, 17a respectively depending on whether the rotation is clockwise or counterclockwise.
- the closure piece 20 is pierced with two through holes 24, 25 arranged in such a way that, when the pins 26, 27 are in place in the openings 16a, 17b or equivalent 16b, 17a, the holes 24, 25 are opposite the through holes 14, 15 respectively drilled in base 10.
- Figure 2 shows an exploded perspective view from above of cover 1.
- the upper face 22 of the closure piece 20 supports a stud 23 traversed right through by a passage 28 and comprising a slot 29 intersecting said passage 28 at a right angle.
- the passage 28 is intended for receive the sealing wire as will be detailed below.
- the closure part 30 has two tabs 34, 35 provided for passing through the through holes 24, 25 of the obturation piece and penetrate the holes 14, 15 of the base 10.
- the extension or the width of these legs 34, 35 is greater than the width openings 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b. In this way, the legs 34, 35 do not cannot penetrate the openings 16a, 16b, 17a, 17b.
- the closing part 30 has a recess 33 able to receive the stud 23 of the sealing piece.
- a projection 39 having a notch 38 is disposed in the recess 33 so as to penetrate the slot 29 of the stud 23 when parts 20 and 30 are fitted. In that case, the notch 38 is in the continuity of the passage 28.
- the upper face 32 of the piece of closure 30 comprises a guide slot 37 incorporating the notch 38.
- the guide slot 37 facilitates the introduction of the sealing wire, when the different elements 10, 20, 30 are nested.
- two lateral recesses 40a, 40b facilitate gripping of the closing part 30.
- Figure 3 schematically shows a perspective view from below of the assembled cover.
- the base 10 is provided with opening 11, 12 for fixing it around the object to be obscured. By this fixing the base 10 is normally irremovable.
- the obturation piece 20 is first made integral with base 10 thanks to fixing means provided for this purpose.
- these fixing means consist firstly of the through holes 14, 15 and the openings 16a, 17b or so equivalent 16b, 17a, by the supported pawns 26, 27 and by means of locking constituted here by the legs 34, 35 and the through holes 24, 25.
- the sealing wire is then used to secure the closure part 30 to the closure piece 20, as will be seen in particular in reference to figure 4.
- Figure 4 is composed of a figure 4a and a figure 4b representing two perpendicular sections of the assembled cover.
- Figure 4a is a section of the cover along an axis extending along the slot 29 of the obturation piece 20.
- FIG. 4b is a section of the cover according to a axis extending along the guide slot 37 of the closing part 30. In the embodiment shown, when the different elements are nested, these two axes are perpendicular, but we understand that it could be otherwise.
- the stud 23 is inserted into the recess 33 and the projection 39 penetrates the slot 29.
- the stud 23 of the closure piece, and the notch 38 formed in the projection 39 generally form a passage for a sealing wire 50.
- the latter is introduced into the slot of guide 29 which guides it towards the passage 28 inside which it crosses the notch 38 to come out at the other end of the passage 28. From this so the closure part 30 is integral with the closure part.
- the vertical withdrawal of the closing piece 30 is prohibited thanks to the blocking of the bottom of the projection 39a by the sealing wire 50, itself immobilized by the upper walls 23a of the passage 28.
- the sealing wire 50 once its ends connected by a lead authentication (not shown), cannot be removed from passage 28: the integrity of the closure of the opening 13 is thus guaranteed.
- the only way to access opening 13 is to break either the sealing wire or the lead.
- the device described above can also be produced according to variants while remaining within the scope of the present invention.
- a single through hole may be provided associated with a open on the base, and therefore correlatively that a single supported pawn supported by the shutter capable of penetrating the hole and sliding in the openwork, while a single tab supported by the closure part comes to vertically block the assembly forming the cover.
- more than two through holes may also be provided on the base cooperating with an equal number of pawns and legs.
- the through holes provided on the base do not are not associated with an openwork, the hole or holes that can take, for example a rectangular shape.
- the supported piece (s) must be provided rectangular and able to pivot on themselves in a quarter-turn rotational movement.
- We make each pawn penetrate in its respective hole then we print the pawn the rotational movement which blocks the shoulder, i.e. the length of the counter against the edges the hole.
- Measuring devices such as meters can advantageously include a cover as described above, for example to ensure the integrity of the concealment of an access window to a meter read / write device.
- This device read / write allowing on the one hand the reading of the meter but also its programming, in particular with regard to the applicable tariffs, it is particularly interesting to be able to seal its access in order to be able simply and economically update fraud or fraud attempts.
