Description

The present invention relates to an article of footwear with air circulation and its manufacturing process.

Wearing footwear while standing prolonged, trampling and / or movement more or shorter on foot, often leads to sensations unpleasant discomfort and burning from sweating pedal and swelling of the foot.

In order to solve this type of problem, we have proposed air circulation footwear such as those described in FR-A-2 594 305, FR-A-2 052 268, FR-A-2 695 303, FR-A-2 684 525, EP-A-0 319. 968, WO-A-8910073 and WO-A-9513714. The solutions proposed in these documents are not not entirely satisfactory insofar as either alone the bottom of the arch is ventilated, i.e. the air is not completely expelled from the shoe and is happy to circulate from the heel to the arch of the foot in the sole.

In addition, some of these devices, using external elements such as a pump installed in a cavity in the outsole (GB-A-2 247 391) or integrated into the mass of the outsole (EP-A-0 594 518), turn out to be expensive.

In FR-A-2 723 822, an article of footwear was proposed comprising an air circulation device suitable for exhaust air from inside the footwear outward of said footwear. This article footwear has a outsole in which is formed a compressible cavity at the front and rear. The compressible cavities are obtained in the sole wear, for example, by molding thereof. The cavity compressible in the front part is made open towards the inside of the footwear while the cavity compressible in the heel is closed so present only an air intake from the front part of the sole and an air outlet to outside. This compressible cavity is generally closed by sticking a sock in the article fit. We obtain with this device a good air circulation within an article of footwear. As we mentioned, closing the compressible chamber of the heel is made by the establishment of the sole of cleanliness on the outsole. It can ensue after a certain period of use of the footwear, a loss of tightness in the compressible cavity heel, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the air circulation, for example by wear of the insole.

In order to overcome these drawbacks, the present invention offers an article of footwear with air circulation in which the air circulation device is totally integrated into the sole and this, economically, limiting the number of elements constituting said device air circulation.

Also known, from WO 87/03789, an article of footwear incorporating in the heel and / or the sole at least one cavity connected, by a variable throttle valve, to ambient air so that the cavity acts as adjustable air cushion, spring and / or shock absorber.

This device is not intended to carry out a circulation air but only to produce a damping effect.

To this end, the subject of the present invention is an article footwear with a molded outsole, a insole provided with perforations in its part front and a upper, said outsole comprising at minus a compressible chamber in its open front part towards the inside of the footwear and at least one compressible chamber in the heel provided with at least one first non-return valve not allowing the passage of that towards the outside of the footwear, the compressible chamber in the front part being connected to the compressible heel chamber via a conduit comprising a second non-return valve allowing air circulation only from front to back of the outsole, characterized in that the sole wear is molded so as to include at least one cavity front, precursor of the compressible chamber (5) in the part front, and at least one rear cavity, precursor of the chamber compressible (4) in the heel, said cavities being open on the upper face of the outsole (2), the outsole (2) has a comfort layer overmolded on said outsole, outsole and comfort layer defining between them the compressible chambers, the comfort layer covering the rear cavity of the outsole while the front cavity of the sole of wear is kept open and the outsole and the comfort layer forming or trapping a duct connecting said chambers and provided with the second valve check valve and at least one orifice and / or one conduit connecting the compressible chamber of the heel to the outside and fitted with the first non-return valve.

Thus, we define a sole of a footwear item decomposing into a outsole in its part lower with a layer of comfort in its part upper, outsole and comfort layer defining between them the compressible chambers of the air circulation device, the only elements added from said device which can be the conduit provided its non-return valve ensuring the passage of air from the front part towards the rear part of the outsole as well as the non-return valve installed in the compressible heel chamber to allow expulsion of the air out of said chamber to the outside of the article fit.

Consequently, a compressible chamber is obtained at almost completely closed heel level within the sole of the footwear, only one air intake being authorized at the level of the conduit installed or formed between said heel chamber and the compressible chamber of the front part and an air outlet being authorized towards the exterior through the first non-return valve. We this avoids any risk of air leaks into the interior of the article of footwear at the level of said chamber compressible in the heel which could harm efficient air circulation.

Preferably, each cavity of the outsole has an orifice opening into said cavity and suitable for receive one end of the conduit connecting the two cavities, the rear cavity further comprising a through hole towards the outside of the sole and suitable for receiving the first non-return valve.

Advantageously, the outsole has on its face lower outer geometrical cutouts constituting notches projecting from the surface of its external underside.

Preferably, polyurethane is used to achieve the outsole and the comfort layer is made of expanded polyurethane.

An article of footwear according to the invention also provides a improved air circulation as far as the compressible chamber in the heel, the upper wall and the bottom wall of the compressible chamber can both undergo deformation and exercise pressure on the air locked in said chamber.

Air intake in the footwear of the invention can be done at the upper edge of the rod or well through air intake holes provided in the upper, especially at the instep. Through elsewhere, the inside of the rod is preferably lined with breathable but impermeable material moisture which is associated with pore foam totally open. So the air coming in from the edge upper of the rod can circulate along the whole face internal of the rod ventilating the foot.

A sockliner is installed inside the footwear and rests on the comfort layer of the outsole. This insole has on its front part of the perforations putting in communication the inside of the footwear with the room compressible from the front part of the outsole.

Thus, during the walk, the stale air entering the compressible chamber of the front part is isolated in this room when the user puts the part forefoot, blocking air intake from the inside of the footwear through perforations in the insole. The air subjected to this pressure in said chamber of the front part is expelled through the conduit and non-return valve towards the heel. The heel is then placed and the room compressible heel is then stressed exerted by the ground and a stress exerted by the foot of the user of the footwear. The conduit comprising a non-return valve preventing air circulation from heel towards the front of the sole, the air is expelled at the through the non-return valve provided in the chamber compressible from the heel and admitting the passage of air to the outside of the sole.

The invention also relates to a manufacturing method an article of footwear having an outsole, a insole provided with perforations in its part front and a upper, said outsole comprising at minus a compressible chamber in its open front part towards the inside of the footwear and at least one compressible chamber in the heel provided with at least one first non-return valve not allowing the passage of that towards the outside of the footwear, the compressible chamber in the front part being connected to the compressible heel chamber via a conduit comprising a second non-return valve allowing air circulation only from front to back of the outsole according to the invention characterized in that mold a outsole having at least one front cavity, precursor of the compressible chamber, in the front part and at least one rear cavity, precursor of the compressible chamber in the heel, said cavities being open towards the upper face of said sole wear, the heel cavity comprising at least one orifice and / or a conduit leading to the outside of the sole wear, each cavity having an orifice receiving the end of a conduit connecting said cavities and provided a non-return valve allowing the passage of air from the front part of the sole to the heel, and overmolded said outsole with a layer of comfort defining with the outsole a chamber compressible closed in the heel and a chamber compressible open in the front part of the sole the article of footwear and imprisoning the conduit connecting the two compressible chambers, one non-return valve being placement in the orifice and / or the chamber duct compressible heel so as to only allow the air passage from the room to the outside.

This non-return valve can be installed in the opening and / or the duct of the front rear cavity or after overmolding the comfort layer on the sole wear.

The duct provided with a non-return valve connecting the compressible chambers of the outsole can be formed during the molding of the comfort layer, the valve being put in place before overmolding.

In the case where the compressible chamber of the front part consists of several recesses, the layer of comfort is overmolded and has perforations in look at said recesses of the compressible chamber.

We will now describe in more detail an example of realization of the invention with reference to the drawing in which the single figure represents a sectional view longitudinal of a sole of an article of footwear according to the invention.

The outsole 2 is preferably obtained by molding polyurethane. This outsole 2 has a rear cavity precursor of a compressible chamber 4 at heel level and a front cavity precursor of a compressible chamber 5 at its front part. The two cavities are formed during molding so as to be open on the upper side of the outsole 2.

Each cavity has an orifice opening into said cavity, each orifice receiving one end of a conduit 6 connecting said cavities and later chambers 4, 5.

During the molding of the outsole 2, a orifice 7 opening into the rear cavity precursor of room 4. This orifice 7 subsequently receives a non-return valve (not shown) or even a conduit provided with said non-return valve.

The comfort layer 3 is then produced by overmolding of the outsole 2. Preferably, expanded polyurethane.

During overmolding, the comfort layer 3 covers the rear cavity precursor of chamber 4 so as to form the closed compressible chamber 4 in the heel while the compressible chamber 5 of the front part is kept open towards the upper face of the sole 1.

Cette déformation est par conséquent propre à expulser convenablement l'air contenu dans la chambre 4.Thus, the compressible chamber 4 of the heel has only an air inlet through duct 6 and an outlet air through the non-return valve mounted in port 7. All the walls of the compressible chamber 4 are made of an elastically deformable material ensuring good deformation during compression exerted on said chamber 4 when fitting the heel to the walking course. This deformation is therefore suitable for properly expelling the air contained in the bedroom 4.

The outsole 2 preferably has on its face lower cutouts of geometric shape constituting notches 9 providing good grip of the soles especially on muddy or wet grounds. In addition, some of these notches (not shown) are made in projection from the bottom surface of the sole 2 so that, when walking, they sink towards inside and put pressure on the air locked in compressible chambers 4 and 5 allowing evacuation air outside said chambers 4 and 5.

To promote air circulation in the article footwear, the conduit 6 comprises a non-return valve 8 allowing air circulation from the room compressible 5 to the compressible chamber 4 and preventing reverse circulation.

Thus, an article of footwear was produced in which the air circulation is perfectly ensured using a device fully integrated into the sole of an article footwear consisting of a outsole provided with a comfort layer, using a minimum of elements which is therefore simple to carry out and economically advantageous.
