Description

The present invention relates to the field of footwear, such as shoes, boots, ankle boots or the like, in particular children's shoes waterproof work and / or safety with a sole molded wear, and relates to such an article of footwear equipped with an air circulation device, as well as a corresponding manufacturing process.

Currently, many people, including in the industrial environment, wear the same shoes or like footwear without interruption for long periods, for example eight hours or more. This results in high risks of contraction yeast or other epidermal, parasitic conditions or not, feet, or even a scaling of the skin of the soles of the feet and, at the very least, a burning and discomfort, especially for people subject to profuse foot sweating.

A solution proposed by manufacturers footwear then consisted of making holes in the rod at specific locations, in particular at the front part of the footwear.

However, this solution is not satisfactory, since, on the one hand, it does not create air circulation or ventilation under the plant feet, especially in the toe area and support area behind these and, on the other hand, it cannot be used on work and / or safety must be perfectly waterproof.

Now, these are precisely the footwear of the latter type, generally having a sole wear molded directly on the rod, which drive the highest risk of ailments and generate the most pronounced discomfort.

An article of footwear having several hollow bodies placed in its outsole is also described in the document WO-A-86 02240.

The object of the present invention is in particular to overcome all of the aforementioned drawbacks.

To this end, its object is an article footwear, in particular work and / or safety shoe comprising a outsole obtained by molding, characterized in that it is provided with a device for air circulation integrated into the mass of the sole of wear.

The present invention also relates to a process for manufacturing an article of footwear such as mentioned above, characterized in that it consists, firstly, to be carried out, separately, on the one hand, an upper and sole assembly and, secondly, the air circulation device, then mount it on said first sole, if necessary together with reinforcing elements, to arrange the whole upper - sole - air circulation device in an injection molding mold and then to inject the material intended to constitute the outsole in said mold directly on said sole and said upper and, finally, to remove said footwear thus obtained from said mold after solidification of said material injected.

  • The invention will be better understood from the description below, which relates to a preferred embodiment, given by way of nonlimiting example, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a side elevational view in partial section of a footwear article according to the invention, and
  • Figure 2 is an enlarged sectional view of a latching fastening device shown in Figure 1, before assembly.
According to the invention and as shown more particularly, by way of example, FIG. 1, the footwear is provided with a circulation device 3 air integrated into the mass of the outsole 2.

In the case of a footwear item 1 of the type work or safety shoe, outsole 2 (constituting the visible outsole of the article footwear 1) may also include, in a known manner, reinforcement elements 2 ′ integrated into its mass, in particular in the form of shanks, and its rod 13 can be doubled, at the front end of said article footwear 1, a toe cap or a protective shell (not shown).

According to a first characteristic of the invention, the air circulation device 3 is mainly consisting of a closed hollow body 4, at least partially deformable, comprising tubing 5 air intake, fitted with a valve device 7 or non-return valve, and an air exhaust pipe 6 of variable length, depending in particular on the size of said footwear 1.

The check valve or non-return device 7 mentioned above can, for example, present itself in a known manner in the form of a sleeve provided a ball that can be moved from a closed position (corresponding to the rest position of the valve or valve) to a passage authorization position air through said sleeve, depending on the direction of thrust of the air flow crossing or seeking to cross said sleeve (Figure 1).

The hollow body 4 has an upper part 8 elastically deformable arched and is arranged in the heel 9 of footwear 1, said upper part 8 being flush with the first sole 10 for fitting and cleaning said footwear item 1.

Said hollow body 4 is advantageously centered relative to the bearing area of the user's heel, so as to be subjected to maximum pressure and to undergo significant deformation.

As also shown in Figure 1 of the drawings attached, the suction port 11 of the tubing intake 5 advantageously opens through an orifice 12 corresponding passage of the first sole 10 or upper 13, inside the footwear 1, at the level of the area surrounding the user's heel, preferably in the rear part of this area under the user's heel.

In addition, the discharge pipe 6 can open, through a corresponding 12 'passage opening of the first sole 10, if necessary via of a bent end piece 14 for ejection, in the region of the first sole 10 on which the metatarsals rest or the user's tarsi.

Therefore, the circulation device 3 air works by removing air from the region of the heel, inside the footwear and by injection air thus recovered by suction at the toes or in the support area behind them.

In addition, part of the air sucked in the orifice 11 of the intake manifold 5 can come from directly from the outside by entering through the opening upper of rod 13 following the vacuum generated by the suction action.

The succession and sequencing of operations suction and ejection are controlled by the valve check valve 7 depending on the pressure variation exercised by the user on the arched upper part 8 of the hollow body 4.

The air circulation or ventilation generated by device 3 is particularly important in the in case of user movement, due to variations significant pressure exerted by the heel of the user on the arched upper part 8, generating a significant deformation of the latter during the support of the foot at the heel. As a result, thanks to the alternative succession of compression actions and release of the hollow body 4, a pumping effect air with suction in the heel and ejection in the toe area.

According to a characteristic of the invention, shown in Figure 1 and in more detail in FIG. 2 of the accompanying drawings, the intake manifold 5, as well as the discharge pipe 6 or, where appropriate, the angled tip 14 for ejection, are fixed to the sole first 10, at the passage openings 12, 12 ' considered, by means of a device 15, 16 and 17 for securing fast.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, each device 15, 16 and 17 for securing fast comes in the form of a device better known by snap or snap fastening under the usual name of "clip" and whose mode of operation is analogous to that of a press button.

As shown in Figure 2 of the accompanying drawings, each snap fastener or snap can be composed, for example, on the one hand, an annular part 15 attached or formed on the face upper of the first sole 10 at the orifices passage 12, 12 'and having at least one projection internal circumferential radial 16 constituting at minus a localized narrowing and, on the other hand, a bead, shoulder 17 or radial projection (e), continuous or discontinuous, arranged or formed on the outer face of the ends of the intake manifold 5 and the drain hose 6 or the bent end piece ejection 14.

According to another characteristic of the invention, footwear 1 has an insole or a arch, resting on the first sole 10 of assembly or cleanliness, provided with means of supply and air distribution, in the form of channels, grooves or grooves, converging towards the area of the orifices passage 12, 12 'of the first sole 10.

Furthermore, said hollow body 4 may also contain a solid material with deodorant action and / or having dehumidification properties, having long-lasting effects.

This solid material may be present, for example, in the form of a perfume cube, which can also contain chemicals intended to eliminate bad smells.

As a variant, said body 4 could contain a liquid substance intended to annihilate bad odors of organic origin, this liquid can be injected under pressure through the intake manifold 5 at by means of a specific injection device, in particular a deformable tube whose front end can be introduced in said tubing.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the outsole 2 can be produced polyurethane foam and have a structure monolayer.

According to a second embodiment of the invention, the outsole 2 can be made up of several polyurethane foam layers with different densities or block of polyurethane foam with variable density. In the latter case, the layers outsides of outsole 2, especially those in contact with the ground, will have a density and a rigidity higher than the intermediate layers or in contact with the sole 10 or the upper 13.

The invention also relates to a method manufacturing an article of footwear as described above, consisting essentially, first of all, of carrying out, separately, on the one hand, the rod assembly 13 - first sole 10 and, on the other hand, the device 3 air circulation, then mount it on said first sole 10, if necessary together with reinforcement elements 2 ', to arrange the assembly upper 13 - sole 10 - device 3 for circulation air into an injection mold and then to inject the material intended to constitute the sole wear 2 in said mold directly on said sole first 10 and said rod 13 and, finally, to remove said footwear 1 thus obtained from said mold after solidification of said injected material.

According to a characteristic of the invention, the realization of the air circulation device 3 consists essentially to produce, by injection molding, the vaulted upper part 8 and the side walls of the hollow body 4 of said air circulation device 3, in one piece with the intake manifold 5, then at fit a check valve or non-return valve device 7 on said intake manifold 5 and to set up the bottom of said hollow body 4 and, finally, to set up and to be joined by gluing, after partial introduction in an orifice previously formed in said body hollow 4, a discharge pipe 6 having a length adapted to the size of footwear 1 and possibly provided with a bent ejection nozzle 14 at its end free.

The discharge pipe 6 can also, as a variant, have a shaped ejection device of pommelle, diffusing the air ejected by the hollow body 4 through the first sole 10 provided with a plurality through holes.

According to an additional feature of the invention, the mounting of the circulation device 3 air on the first sole 10 is to push the free ends of the intake manifold 5, the discharge pipe 6 or, where appropriate, the end piece ejection 14, in through orifices 12 and 12 'correspondents of the first sole 10, until obtaining of their fastening by engagement or snap-fastening by means of fastening devices 15, 16 and 17 and to position said circulation device 3 air relative to said first sole 10 by the establishment of one or more lugs 18, arranged on the hollow body 4 and / or on the discharge pipe 6, in one or more corresponding locating orifices 20 in the sole 10.

Thanks to the invention, it is possible to carry out an article of footwear, in particular a work shoe and / or safety with a outsole molded, perfectly waterproof, providing ventilation or air circulation around the foot, more particularly at the level of the front support part of the latter.

This results in a significant improvement in comfort for the user and a significant decrease in risk of contracting ailments, while guaranteeing maximum safety due to suction air inside the footwear (waterproofing preserved).

In addition, thanks to the securing devices fast and to the positioning means of the device air circulation, it is easy to integrate the latter in the mass of the outsole, by positioning on the first sole in a preliminary operating phase by molding said outsole.

Of course, the invention is not limited to embodiment described and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications remain possible, in particular from point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without going out provided the scope of protection of the invention.
