Abstract
Die Maschine enthält eine Halterung (2) für eine Wickelhülse (1) und wenigstens ein bewegbares Antriebselement (9) zum Bewegen des Umfangs des Sattewickels (8) auf der Wickelhülse (1). Eine Belastungseinrichtung (15, 17, 18) dient zum Gegeneinanderdrücken des Wattewickels (8) und des Antriebselements (9) mit einer von einer Steuereinrichtung (16) steuerbaren, vom Durchmesser des Wattewickels (8) abhängigen Kraft. Der Steuereinrichtung (16) wird von einem Drehgeber (19) ein Signal zugeführt, welches die kumulierte Länge der dem Wattewickel (8) zulaufenden Watte (4) darstellt. Die Steuereinrichtung (16) enthält Rechnermittel zum Berechnen des Durchmessers des Wattewickels (8) aus diesem Signal und aus weiteren Signalen. Dadurch ist kein gesonderter Sensor zum Abtasten des Durchmessers des Wattewickels (8) erforderlich. The machine contains a holder (2) for a winding tube (1) and at least one movable drive element (9) for moving the circumference of the bobbin (8) on the winding tube (1). A loading device (15, 17, 18) serves to press the cotton roll (8) and the drive element (9) against one another with a force which is controllable by a control device (16) and is dependent on the diameter of the cotton roll (8). The control device (16) is supplied with a signal from a rotary encoder (19) which represents the cumulative length of the cotton (4) running towards the cotton roll (8). The control device (16) contains computer means for calculating the diameter of the cotton roll (8) from this signal and from further signals. As a result, no separate sensor is required to sense the diameter of the cotton roll (8).
