Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electric hand machine tool according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a carbon brush for DC electric motors which has two axial, step-shaped extensions in the area of its head part, which serve as a socket for one current-carrying wire. Between the extensions there is a contact surface made of hard tissue for a pressure element and a damping pad underneath, the pressure element being intended to press the carbon brush against the commutator.
  • the projections protrude axially only about 5% of the total length of the cabbage brush over the contact surface for the pressure element.
  • the known carbon brush has the disadvantage that it does not even extend nearly to the height of the pressure element or the pressure spring, that is, to its axially outermost region.

  • the outer diameter of the electric motor equipped with the corresponding carbon brushes, which is determined by the position and the dimensions of the pressure spring, and the corresponding housing area which is equipped with such a motor. piece electric hand machine tool is relatively large and in no way corresponds to an optimal grip circumference of the tool, especially when the motor housing serves as a handle. An optimal or as small as possible grip circumference of the electric hand machine tool is relatively difficult to achieve due to the limits of the size of the collector diameter and the length of the carbon brush.
  • the length of the carbon brush is determined by the difference between the collector radius and the outer radius of the housing minus the spring protrusion (height) compared to the housing.
  • the known carbon brush is therefore too short for power tools, the handle of which is formed by the motor housing.
  • the known carbon brush does not have a shut-off element which improves the safety of the electric hand tool and further reduces the usable carbon brush lengths, so that if the shut-off element were installed in the known carbon brush, its running time would be even shorter than without a shut-off element.
  • the hand tool according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that it is 2 to 3 mm longer when the shut-off device is installed, so that the running time of the electric hand tool is extended by about 20 to 30 hours until the next carbon brush change.
  • the spring means are designed as a spiral spring, a minimal installation space in the motor housing for the maximum length of the carbon brush can be fully utilized. Characterized in that the spiral leaf spring is secured with its support arm area in a groove of the carbon brush position, it is ensured that the carbon brush is pressed securely in the direction of the commutator until the shutdown element responds, and thereby sparking and burn damage to the commutator can be excluded.
