Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an air mixer, the z. B. heated air flow in a flow channel in front of a heat treatment chamber e.g. B. arranged for drying textile or tissue webs and for static mixing of two air flows flowing towards each other different temperature or quality is provided, for which the air mixer Air mixing parts is provided. Such previously known mixing parts are general only baffle plates that deflect the second air flow.
A dynamic air mixer is e.g. B. is known from US-A-4,495,858. There is in a pipe that is open to the outside or that is supplied with air from the outside is arranged, a fan through which a second through the fan accelerated air flow is introduced into the first air flow. The housing of the fan in the flow channel of the first air flow and also the brackets of the fan hinder the flow of the first air flow, a low loss Mixing the two air flows is not possible. That is why there is also an Fan provided.
The invention is based, as without additional energy, the task two air flows can be fed to each other so that they are at Mix the contact automatically and evenly.
Starting from the device initially mentioned, the invention provides a solution the task before that in the flow cross-section of the first air flow Hollow body is provided for receiving and forwarding the second air flow. There should be several hollow bodies evenly across the cross section of the flow channel of the first air flow, so that due to this fact alone distributed air supply of the second air flow in the cross section of the first air flow arises. In a further embodiment of the air mixer, the hollow body is closed its outlet end towards the inside, possibly also outside, towards a nozzle-shaped air outlet area narrowed, the second air flow flows solely because of this cross-sectional narrowing into the first air flow at a higher speed, what Vortexes are created that force the desired mixing.
A particular advantage of the device according to the invention are the extremely short Mixing paths that only result in a small pressure drop. Through the Jet effect of the nozzle when exiting the hollow body is even the pressure of the partially recovered gas flowing through. So to be mixed are advantageous Air flows with different pressure drops. This is e.g. B. the case when mixing a gas under negative pressure, e.g. B. after suction of the air from a sieve drum dryer, and an added hot gas from a other energy source, the flow of which has a higher density, higher temperature and possibly also has a higher pressure.
Are advantageous a. So differences in flow velocity between the two Air currents. These can still be influenced without the addition of energy, by the second air flow flowing towards the hollow bodies at a higher pressure. This can be achieved or strengthened in a simple manner by switching on a diffuser z. B. immediately in front of the hollow body. This will make the flow rate the second air flow in front of the hollow body is reduced, the hydraulic However, pressure increases so that when the air flows out of the nozzle desired higher air flow arises. This can even be so high that the arranged fan is driven.

A sieve drum dryer consists of the rotatably mounted sieve drum 1, which
is wrapped on the outside by the
The cooled and dry first air flow is in the flow path in front of the fan 8
to heat up again. A hot second is used for this in the exemplary
Luftmischer 13.The
An jedem
To mix the two air flows in a targeted manner, in the air mixer
Direction of the inflowing
As stated above, the
An increase in this effect is brought about by the
