- the module 35 from FIG. 11 is a branching module, a sorting module or a switch.
- the module 35 issues a banknote 100 in a first direction 101.2, for example. undeflected, or in a second direction 101.3, for example deflected by 90 °.
- a stack module 36 is shown in FIG .
- the banknotes 100 are stacked in an output compartment 361 and can be removed from the output compartment 361.
- FIGS. 13 and 14 show in longitudinal or cross section a transport unit for the transport of objects 100 similar to securities in a module. It includes a transport shaft 551 driven by (not shown in FIGS. 13, 14) drive means 41 and possibly existing transmission means 51-55 with preferably a plurality of transport rollers 552.1-552.4, which act on the objects 100 similar to securities and cause them to be transported through the transport unit.
- the transport rollers 552.1-552.4 or their active surfaces consist of a material which has a large coefficient of static friction, for example an elastomer, compared to the objects 100 which are similar to securities.
- the security-like objects 100 are pressed onto the transport rollers 552.1-552.4 by means of preferably several pressure rollers 554.1-554.4, which interact with the transport rollers 552.1-552.4 on pressure rollers 553.1-553.4 that are preferably not driven pressed.
- the distance between transport rollers 552.1-552.4 and pressure rollers 554.1-554.4 must be variable at least by the thickness d of the objects 100 similar to securities.
- the pressure rollers 554.1-554.3 are preferably suspended so that they can move vertically to the transport direction 101 and to the pressure axes 553.1-553.4, indicated by a double arrow 555.
- Such movable suspensions can be made by small rotations 555 'of the pressure axes 553.1-553.4 around a suspension axis 557 fixed to the device be approximated.
- the pressure axes 553.1-553.4 can be rotatably mounted, for example, in suspension elements 556.1-556.4, which are suspended on the suspension axis 557.
- the pressure axes 553.1-553.4 could also be produced in one piece with the pressure rollers 554.1-554.4, for example made of plastic.
- the restoring forces F R were usually exerted with a plurality of coil springs; such an arrangement is complicated, expensive and prone to failure.
- the restoring forces F R are exerted by at least one reversibly compressible foam element 558.
- the foam element 558 is preferably at least as long (in the z direction) as the total length of all the rollers 552.1-552.4 or 554.1-554.4. It is held in a holder 559 and supported against a module housing 371.
- This pressure unit according to the invention has the advantages of being simple, inexpensive and not prone to failure.
- a single foam element 558 is sufficient to individually exert driving forces F R on each pressure roller 554.1-554.4.
- the foam element 558 not only provides the restoring forces F R , but also the desired damping, so that the pressure rollers 554.1-554.4 maintain the desired, variable working distance from the transport rollers 552.1-552.4 without oscillating.
- Such a pressure unit with at least one foam element can of course not only in one transport unit, but also in other units are used. So the pressure rollers 554.1-554.4 securities-like objects 100 also against other elements such as. press a reading window of a reading module 33.
- position sensors are required to determine whether a security-like item relates to a specific Time in a certain place or not.
- Known devices use optical light barriers for this purpose.
- the disadvantage of such Photoelectric sensors is that they are close to the passage of the security-like Objects are attached and thereby quickly contaminate what impaired their functionality.
- the invention solves this problem by the presence of a security-like object mechanically is scanned and contamination-prone, for example optical parts of the Position sensor removed from the passage of the security-like objects arranged or shielded, preferably even outside a module be attached.
- FIGS. 15 and 16 An embodiment of such a position sensor 60 of the device according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 15 and 16 in longitudinal section, similar to the illustration in FIG. 14, and in FIG. 17 in a perspective view.
- the position sensor 60 includes mechanical scanning elements 62.1-62.5, and at least one approach element 64 connected to the scanning elements 62.1-52.5.
- the scanning elements 62.1-62.5 and the approach element 64 are arranged on a scanning axis 61 and are rigidly connected and rotatable with it.
- the scanning elements 62.1-62.5 have, for example, the shape of scanning fingers bent towards the ends.
- the position sensor 60 includes a measuring element 63, which cooperates with the proximity element 64 and outputs an electrical output signal dependent on the length of the proximity element 64 to a line 634.
- the measuring element 63 z. B As in FIGS. 15-17, a light barrier with a light source 631, a photodetector 633 and an intermediate light path 632, wherein the light path 632 can be interrupted by the approach element 64; the measuring element 63 can also be designed as a proximity switch etc. It is important that the measuring element 63 is arranged or shielded away from the passage of the objects 100 similar to securities and is thus accessible for soiling. This is preferably achieved by mounting the measuring element 63 on the first side 11 of the board 1 (see FIG. 1), for example on a printed circuit board 82.1-82.3.
- the approach element 64 thus transmits a mechanical signal from the corresponding module to the plate 1; Only on the plate 1 is the mechanical signal converted into an electrical signal. Contamination of the mechanical scanning elements 62.1-62.5 does not impair the function of the robust position sensor 60.
- FIGS. 15 and 17 show the position sensor 60 in a rest position, in which there is no object 100 resembling a security at the measuring point 65, for example in the region of the rollers 552, 554.
- the measuring element 63 is in a first state; In this exemplary embodiment, the light path 632 of the light barrier is not interrupted.
- FIG. 16 shows the position sensor 60 in a deflection position, in which an object 100 resembling a security is located at the measuring point 65.
- the measuring element 63 is in a second state; it is Z. B. the light path 632 of the light barrier is interrupted by the proximity element 64, and the output signal of the measuring element 63 is different than in the first state.
- a pushing back moment acts on the scanning elements 62.1-62.5; As soon as the security-like object 100 is removed from the measuring point 65, the position sensor returns to the rest position of FIGS. 15 and 17.
- FIG. 18 Another aspect of the invention relates to an intake or separation unit for the note-like objects 100.1, 100.2, ...
- a feeder unit with which the input and separation module 31 is provided is, in Figures 18 and 19 in the longitudinal or cross section shown.

Devices for processing securities are known. You are able Processing functions such as feed separation, transport, deflection, turning, Read, sort or stack on the securities to exercise. To this The purpose is with complex mechanical, electrical, electronic and / or optical components. These components need are mutually placed in the correct position during installation Execute the desired processing sequence without errors and interruptions. The device is mostly intended for a specific processing sequence; if other processing functions are to be carried out, a new and different device designed and constructed or at least the existing one Device can be converted with great effort. Furthermore Most components require an electrical power supply, which usually with the help of complex, complicated wiring in Inside the device is realized. Such wiring complicates the Manufacture and maintenance of the device is confusing and prone to failure.
The securities-like objects to be processed often give Dirt, paint and / or dust on the device. This allows the Functionality of individual components or the entire device (e.g. due to jam of objects similar to securities) seriously impaired become. To known devices for processing securities in to repair such a case, they have to be dismantled, decongested, cleaned and reassembled, which takes a lot of time and effort required.
In summary it can be said that manufacturing and maintenance are more well known Devices for processing securities mostly with a relatively large Effort is associated, which in turn leads to high manufacturing and operating costs leads.
In addition, known devices for processing securities are often included inconveniently complicated and expensive pressure and / or transport units, with contamination-prone position sensors and with unreliable ones equipped with corrugated feed units.
It is an object of the invention to provide a device for processing securities-like To create objects that do not have the above disadvantages has, which is particularly clear, which is simple and can be assembled and maintained quickly and what a variety from different processing sequences. It is also Object of the invention, a simple, inexpensive pressure unit for Printing securities-like objects against another element. It is a further object of the invention to be simple, inexpensive and Transport unit not susceptible to faults for the transport of securities-like Creating objects. It is also an object of the invention a robust position sensor that is not prone to contamination, whether there is a security-like item at a certain time located at a certain point or not. Furthermore, it is Object of the invention, a feed unit for pulling individual to create securities-like objects in which the securities-like Objects are not curled and which is a separation of the guaranteed securities-like objects.
The object is achieved by the device according to the invention, the device according to the invention Pressure unit, the transport unit according to the invention position sensor according to the invention and the feed unit according to the invention, as defined in the independent claims.
In this document the term "securities-like objects" is used graphically printed, flat, thin and mostly flexible objects that represent a certain material value, understood, i.e. securities in actual sense, but also other such objects. Examples of securities-like Objects are banknotes, bank checks, shares, papers with Security imprint, certificates, tickets or tickets, vouchers, Credit or ATM cards, identification or access cards. If in In this document of "processing functions", functions are functions such as pulling in, separating, separating, transporting, reading, recognizing, checking, Verify, check, count, sort and / or stack, which are exercised on the securities-like objects. A "Processing flow" consists of several such functions.
The invention is based on the idea of a device for processing to structure objects similar to securities in a modular manner. The different Completed processing functions are provided by independent modules exercised. Such modules are interchangeable mobile parts, which in one stationary part of the device can be used in such a way that a desired Workflow for processing the securities-like objects is feasible. The modules have standardized interfaces which the securities-like objects from one module to another be handed over. The device must be constructed in such a way that the Interfaces are mutually correctly positioned and transfers of securities-like Objects are possible if there are modules in the device are used. The modules are made up of a set of different modules selectable and almost any combination, so that an abundance of free selectable processing procedures can be implemented.
The modules can be easily, for example by plugging or hanging, into the Device used according to the invention and just as easily expanded or be replaced. Such a modular structure thus ensures one extremely simple assembly and maintenance of the device. It enables also a quick and easy change of the desired processing sequence, by easily adding, removing, moving and / or adding modules can be exchanged. The device according to the invention is after expandable or expandable to the user's request. The individual modules are robust because they only have a minimum of delicate, susceptible to contamination electrical, electronic and / or optical elements contain. If possible, such delicate elements are outside of the modules so that communication between the modules and the Rest of the device limited to mechanical signals. The maintenance of the The device is simple and quick, because of the modularity of a jam easily can be remedied and individual modules can be easily cleaned. The Modularity brings not only for the user, but also for the user Manufacturer advantages: a redesign of the inventive Device is significantly easier because only certain parts have been changed need to be taken over by others while existing devices can be.
The inventive device for processing securities-like Objects are preferably operated electrically and have at least an entrance and at least one exit for the securities-like Objects on. The device includes a fixed part and interchangeable mobile parts, the mobile parts modules to exercise each a completed processing function on the securities to be processed Objects and these modules are in the fixed part can be used in such a way that between the at least one input and the at least one exit a desired workflow for processing the security-like objects can be carried out.
The stationary part of the device according to the invention is preferably as in formed essentially rigid support structure, for example. As a wall of the device forming plate, as a profile or as a bar grid. The device preferably has mechanical connection means by means of which the modules thanks to a form-fitting, releasable mechanical connection at the fixed location Part are attachable. The modules can, for example, be plugged onto the stationary part or be hangable.
Drive means can be located on the stationary part of the device according to the invention be attached, for example. Electric motors. In the mobile parts can be attached agents that mechanically on the securities-like Act on objects, e.g. rollers for the transport of securities-like items Objects. Using transmission means such as toothed belts, Perforated wheels or perforated rings, tie rods, levers, couplings, mechanical Switches or shafts can generate forces and / or torques from the drive means transferred to the active agents. It is beneficial that not to install the required drive means in the mobile parts, but on the fixed part of the device. So it becomes clear, consistent Separation of drive means and mobile parts achieved. This separation has the advantage that the electrical lines and components are clear are attached to the stationary part, such as on a printed circuit board of an electronic Device. It is easier to install and maintain there. Most mobile parts only contain mechanical components.

Vom Motor 41
werden Zahnriemen 51.1, 51.2 als erste Übertragungsmittel angetrieben. Die
Zahnriemen 51.1, 51.2 laufen auf Umlenkrollen 52.1-52.4 und bewegen Lochräder
bzw.
On the
83 angebracht, in welche entsprechende, an bestimmten Modulen angebrachte
(nicht eingezeichnete) Stecker eingesteckt werden können.A first type of electrical line 71 (shown in FIG. 2) serves the purpose of

FIG. 4 shows a frontal view of a detail IV from FIG. 3, namely the attachment or suspension of two modules, for example the second transport module 32.2 and the third transport module 32.3. The two modules 32.2, 32.3 are plugged onto two bolts 2.5, 2.6 (as well as further bolts, which are not visible in FIG. 4), in that the bolts 2.5, 2.6 are pushed into formations 22.51, 22.52, 22.61, 22.62.
Figure 5 shows, in the same view as Figure 4, a detail V of Figure 3. Here, a bolt 2.7 connects the four modules 36.1, 36.2, 34.3, 35 to the
Fig. 3, ist in Figur 6 im Querschnitt dargestellt.
The modules have standardized interfaces to which the banknotes are transferred from one module to the other. An exemplary embodiment of such an
Figures 7-12 show examples of different modules 31-36, which

Of course, other modules not described here are also included in the Device according to the invention can be used. Even the connection between Modules and the fixed part can be produced by other means.
In Figures 13-19 some details of certain modules of the inventive Device received.
Kunststoff. FIGS. 13 and 14 show in longitudinal or cross section a transport unit for the transport of
On the pressure rollers 554.1-554.4, the pressure axes 553.1-553.4 or the suspension elements 556.1-556.4, pushing back forces F R should act in the direction of the transport rollers 552.1-552.4. In known devices, the restoring forces F R were usually exerted with a plurality of coil springs; such an arrangement is complicated, expensive and prone to failure. In the device according to the invention, the restoring forces F R are exerted by at least one reversibly

At certain points on the device, position sensors are required to determine whether a security-like item relates to a specific Time in a certain place or not. Known devices use optical light barriers for this purpose. The disadvantage of such Photoelectric sensors is that they are close to the passage of the security-like Objects are attached and thereby quickly contaminate what impaired their functionality. The invention solves this problem by the presence of a security-like object mechanically is scanned and contamination-prone, for example optical parts of the Position sensor removed from the passage of the security-like objects arranged or shielded, preferably even outside a module be attached.
An embodiment of such a
FIGS. 15 and 17 show the
Another aspect of the invention relates to an intake or separation unit for the note-like objects 100.1, 100.2, ... One embodiment of such a feeder unit, with which the input and
To ensure that only one 100.1 banknote and not multiple banknotes
is drawn in at the same time, the feed unit is preferably provided with a plurality of
essentially stationary, non-rotating retention rollers 388.1-388.4
fitted. These are located on a retaining
In the exemplary embodiment shown here, there is one pressure roller 386.1 each and a retaining roller 388.1 opposite a transport roller 384.1; it would be it is also possible, for example, to alternately press a first roller Transport roller and subsequently a retaining roller of a second transport roller opposite. Of course, according to the invention also more or less than four insertion, transport, pressure or Retention rollers are present.
FIG. 20 shows how an embodiment of the device according to the invention can look from the outside. The device is surrounded by a housing 9. The
